Seth Rollins Kicks Off Raw
Bron Breakker immediately went into business for himself and cut a long promo on Sami Zayn. Seth Rollins could be seen in the background giving Bron an awkward look. This lines up with recent reports that WWE is already laying the groundwork for a Breakker-Rollins split.
Bronson Reed cut a promo of his own, but was met with 'what' chants. Reed, who faces Jey Uso later on, reminded fans that he stuck Rollins with six Tsunamis and gained Seth's respect.
Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman each cut promos as well. Chants of 'OTC' and 'CM Punk' went unanswered by the babyfaces. Heyman cut a promo in Spanish on Penta, whom he vowed would take a beating from Rollins.
Kairi Sane Def. Roxanne Perez
Backstage, the Judgment Day held a vigil for Liv Morgan, but Raquel Rodriguez reminded them—particularly Roxanne—that Liv wasn't dead and she's be back soon. Ever the pessimist, Finn Balor said it took him eight months to come back from his shoulder injury.
AJ Styles left a 'Get Well Soon' cake behind for Dominik Mysterio, who continues to heal from injury.
Despite backup from Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez suffered an upset loss to Kairi Sane. Perez and Rodriguez ganged up on Kairi, but Asuka made the save. Adam Pearce booked the Kabuki Warriors in Sunday's women's tag team match.
Bron Breakker Def. Sami Zayn
Sami Zayn was ambushed by Karrion Kross during his entrance. Zayn, who already had his ribs taped up, was bludgeoned by a pipe-wielding Kross.
As Breakker entered the ring, he looked at a wounded Zayn the way a predator looks at his prey. Predictably, Breakker dominated the match from the offset.
Zayn fought back valiantly, but was cut off in midair with a wicked Spear from Breakker. Rhode Island barked in approval as Michael Cole begged fro the match to start.
Breakker followed up with a 360 Spear as Cole begged Adam Pearce to 'Stop the damn match.' Rhode Island disagreed as they chanted 'One more time!'
Breakker split Zayn in half with a third Spear for the win.
Becky Lynch, Lyra Valkyria And Bayley Brawl
Becky Lynch cut a delusional promo about being Intercontinental champion. She was interrupted by Bayley, but before Bayley could make it down the ramp, Bayley was interrupted by Lyra Valkyria.
Lyra cut her best promo to date. She was confident, if not heelish. After Bayley said she doesn't need any partners or friends, Lyra said she needs to be more like Bayley and become more selfish.
Bayley mocked Lyra for losing to Becky Lynch only to 'Raise her hand like a little bitch!' A brawl ensued, building to Sunday's Triple Threat match.
Jey Uso Def. Bronson Reed By DQ
Jey Uso fought from underneath early on, but then it was relatively back-and-forth. Uso went for a Suicide Dive, but reed threw a chair in Jey's face for the disqualification.
After two Tsunamis, WWE officials hit the ring to top Reed from doing more damage. Cole insisted this match was never about winning.
El Grande Americano Def. Dragon Lee
Fans cheered El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) during his entrance. Micheal Cole spent the entire match doubting this was the real El Grande Americano, while Corey Graves played dumb. Cole pointed out hos small El Grande's mask looked on him, and Graves said it he was wearing it snug so it didn't slip off.
Michael Cole pointed out the fact that El Grande Americano had no tattoos, but Corey Graves said he had a tattoo removed this morning.
El Grande Americano won the match with with a steel plate in his mask.

'The View' host Sunny Hostin warns Colbert cancellation could lead to the 'dismantling of our Constitution'
"The View" co-host Sunny Hostin warned on Tuesday that CBS canceling Stephen Colbert's "Late Show" could be the start of the "dismantling of our Constitution." CBS announced Thursday "The Late Show" will end in May at the end of its broadcast season. Though CBS and parent company Paramount said the choice to cancel the series was "purely a financial decision," and the show was reportedly losing the network $40 million a year, many liberal commentators claim it was for political reasons. Just days before the cancellation, Colbert slammed Paramount's recent settlement with President Donald Trump over his lawsuit against "60 Minutes" as a "big fat bribe" ahead of a pending merger between Paramount and Skydance Media. Hostin and her fellow co-hosts were also skeptical of CBS' explanation for canceling Colbert's show based on the "timing" of the announcement. She pointed out that if politics were involved, then the fabric of democracy could be in jeopardy. "My concern is, if it is political, then everyone should be concerned. People on the right should be concerned. People on the left should be concerned. Because it's very clear that, if it is political, this is the dismantling of our democracy. This is the dismantling of our Constitution. Right?" Hostin said to the cheering of the studio audience. She continued, "The First Amendment is the First Amendment for a reason and that is freedom of the press, freedom of speech. Freedom to speak truth to power. If that is taken away, if the comedians are being attacked, then that means our Constitution is being dismantled… That means the very rubric of our democracy is being dismantled. And I think every single person should be really, really concerned about it." Hostin praised Sens. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., for speaking up on the issue and demanding answers. Several other high-profile Democrats also spoke out against canceling Colbert, whose show was openly favorable to their party while hostile to Republicans. "We must protect our Constitution and we must protect our democracy! This is bigger than just the cancellation of a television show!" Hostin exclaimed. Her co-host Joy Behar blamed Trump for Colbert's cancellation and warned "all bets are off" if comedians are taken down. "It's always been the role of the court jester to make fun of the king. That is the role of comedians. I have said on this show, I think I said it years ago, when they start coming for the comedian, all bets are off, because the king is supposed to take the hits and this guy has a skin thinner than, I don't know, than this card," Behar said, holding one up. Colbert fired back against Trump on his show Monday night after the president celebrated his show ending on Truth Social, writing, "I absolutely love that Colbert got fired. His talent was even less than his ratings. "How dare you, sir?" Colbert responded. "Would an untalented man be able to compose the following satirical witticism? Go f--- yourself."

Barry Bonds heartfelt message to Giants after Bobblehead Day
The post Barry Bonds heartfelt message to Giants after Bobblehead Day appeared first on ClutchPoints. The San Francisco Giants squandered an opportunity to gain ground in the NL West Saturday, as the Los Angeles Dodgers ended a seven-game skid with a 2-1 victory. The Giants fell to third place in the division after the loss, as San Francisco now trails LA by five games. But regardless of the outcome, Saturday was a special day at Oracle Park. The Giants hosted a Barry Bonds bobblehead giveaway and the all-time home run leader was in attendance, even throwing out the first pitch before the game. Bonds received a warm welcome from the San Francisco crowd and showed his appreciation with a message posted on Instagram. 'Thank you @sfgiants for having me for Bobblehead Day – what an incredible honor! It means so much to be celebrated here at home. I'm beyond grateful for the love from the fans and everyone who showed up today. What a day to remember!' Bonds wrote. Giants fans show up for Barry Bonds bobblehead game Although he retired 18 years ago, Bonds still looms large over the MLB landscape. He remains the benchmark used to measure baseball greatness. Aaron Judge, Juan Soto and James Wood have all received Bonds comps this season. And it usually means you're doing (or expected to do) something incredible at the plate. Droves of fans showed up to Oracle Saturday, hoping to be one of the first 20,000 attendees to receive a bobblehead. Lines stretched all around the ballpark well before the game began, per Anthony Garcia on X. Bonds spent 15 of his 22 major league seasons with the Giants. And he credits Hall of Famer and San Francisco great Willie Mays for mentoring him when he joined the team in 1993. In an effort to keep that tradition alive, Bonds met with Rafael Devers when he first arrived in the Bay Area. The Giants landed the All-Star slugger in a trade with the Boston Red Sox in June While Bonds has been snubbed by the Hall of Fame, he's part of the Giants' Wall of Fame and San Francisco retired his number. He's also in the Pittsburgh Pirates' Hall of Fame. He began his career with the Pirates in 1986 and spent seven seasons in Pittsburgh. Bonds is the all-time career leader in bWAR (162.8), home runs (762) and walks (2,558). He also holds the single-season record for home runs (73) and on-base percentage (.609). Bonds won seven MVP Awards in his incredible career. He received the award five times as a member of the Giants, including four straight MVPs from 2001-2004. No one else in baseball history has won the award more than three times. Although that could change this season as Shohei Ohtani makes a run for his fourth-career MVP.
