Hamas delegation participated in Iranian martyrs' burial

Saba Yemen29-06-2025
Gaza - Saba:
A leadership delegation from the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) participated on Saturday in the solemn public ceremony for the martyrs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who were assassinated by the Zionist enemy forces during their heinous aggression against the Islamic Republic.
In a press statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) on Sunday, the movement said, "We, in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), offer our deepest condolences and most sincere sympathies to our brothers in the Islamic Republic of Iran, leadership and people, for the martyrdom of a group of its military leaders and nuclear scientists, who were killed during the recent treacherous Zionist aggression against Iranian territory."
The movement added that these righteous martyrs, along with nearly 600 Iranian civilians, including children and women, who were killed in this aggression, are victims of organized Zionist terrorism that spares no one in the region, as part of a malicious plan to dominate and subjugate them, silence the voice of resistance, and eliminate their vital forces.
As we mourn these heroic martyrs, we affirm that this pure blood will remain a beacon for the battle for freedom and the confrontation of Zionist hegemony over the region, and will hasten the demise of the criminal Zionist enemy.
Among the prominent figures martyred in the crimes of the Zionist regime were:
- Lieutenant General Gholam Ali Rashid Commander of the Holy Prophet Central Headquarters
- Lieutenant General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces
- Lieutenant General Hossein Salami, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)
- Major General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, Commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force
- Major General Mohammad Kazemi, Commander of the IRGC Intelligence Directorate
- Major General Mohammad Reza Nasser Baghban, Command Representative of the IRGC Intelligence Directorate (Hajj Mohsen)
- Brigadier General Mohammad Saeed Izadi, Commander of the Palestinian Division of the IRGC Quds Force
- Brigadier General Bahnam Shahriari, Commander of the Weapons Transport Unit of the IRGC Quds Force
- Brigadier General Ali Shadmani, Commander of the Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters
Hamas added, "We appreciate the heroism and sacrifices of the Iranian people and armed forces during this heroic battle. We affirm our full confidence in the ability of the Islamic Republic to continue its path toward progress, prosperity, and leadership in various fields, and to support our Palestinian people and their just national cause."

Zionist enemy shoots Palestinian child in Quds, storms Bethlehem

Occupied Quds - Saba: A Palestinian child was injured today, Saturday, by Israeli army fire in the village of Sheikh Saad, southeast of occupied Quds. According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), the Red Crescent Society reported that its crews responded to the injury of a 17-year-old child who was shot in the legs by live ammunition by the Israeli army near the racist Annexation Wall in the Sheikh Saad area. He was then transferred to the hospital. In the same context, Israeli enemy forces stormed several areas in the Bethlehem Governorate today, Saturday.

Hamas condemns Israeli intelligence chief's call to kill 50 Palestinians

Gaza – Saba: The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) strongly condemned what it described as 'criminal statements' reportedly leaked by Hebrew media from the head of the Israeli intelligence agency, Aharon Haliva, in which he allegedly admitted that the killing of 50,000 Palestinians was an intended and deliberate goal, and that the policy of killing 50 Palestinians for every Israeli — 'regardless of whether they are children or women' — is a systematic and approved approach. In a press statement issued on Saturday and received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Hamas said: 'These official admissions represent irrefutable evidence of the genocidal doctrine guiding the behavior of this Nazi-like entity, and confirm that the crimes committed against our people are high-level decisions and an official policy enacted by the enemy's political and security leadership.' The movement added that such remarks expose the criminal and fascist nature of the entity, which openly boasts about killing women and children in cold blood. This, it stressed, places the international community before its legal and moral responsibility to hold accountable those responsible for these statements and crimes, which constitute war crimes and acts of genocide in every sense. Hamas called on the United Nations and its institutions, particularly the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court, to document these statements and activate prosecution measures against the criminal leaders of the Israeli entity who publicly declare their crimes against innocent civilians and the mass killing of tens of thousands on a retaliatory basis. The movement further urged all countries to cooperate with the courts and to hand over the perpetrators of these war crimes for prosecution.

Albanese: Gaza witnesses largest drop in life expectancy in modern history

New York – Saba: Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories in Gaza, stated that 'Gaza has witnessed the largest drop in life expectancy compared to any other place on Earth in modern history.' She clarified this in posts on the X platform today, Saturday, as reported by the Yemen News Agency (Saba), responding to those who say, 'It cannot be a genocide in Gaza because the Palestinian population is increasing.' Albanese confirmed that the United Nations' role in the Gaza Strip has been marginalized and weakened. She said, 'Despite the efforts of many, the UN has been marginalized, weakened, and paralyzed by politics,' adding: 'International law has been flagrantly violated. This can — and must — change.' She emphasized that 'people have power, no matter who they are or where they are. United, people are stronger. Nations are stronger.' Addressing Israeli soldiers, Albanese said: 'When you take off your military uniform, think about this: many of you are mere snipers shooting at civilians, often children, fleeing to save their lives, after your army has left them homeless, hungry, and orphaned.' She added: 'You are heading towards an abyss. It is never too late to stop this.' With U.S. and European support, the Israeli occupation army has continued since October 7, 2023, committing crimes of genocide in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of 61,897 Palestinian civilians, the majority children and women, and injuring 155,660 others to date, in a preliminary tally, with thousands of victims still trapped under rubble or in the streets, inaccessible to rescue and medical teams.
