In other news, Glossybox has released its highly anticipated Summer Bag Limited Edition, too. Packed with 10 premium, viral and essential beauty must-haves, it's worth over £142, but shoppers can buy it for £45. With standout brands including Sol de Janeiro, Morphe, ICONIC London, and Medik8. As part of the set, each item works out at £4.50.
For those seeking further options, ASOS is offering their Luxury Travel Essentials Beauty Box for £40. Coming in a handy travel pouch, the edit boasts £135 worth of products, saving £95 on the RRP. Inside, shoppers will find eight products from a range of top brands, including Elemis, Laneige, Sol de Janeiro and Elizabeth Arden.
While the No7 Vault provides undeniable value, offering a saving of £69 compared to purchasing the items individually, it may not be suitable for all skin types, particularly those with highly sensitive skin. If you're susceptible to irritation, it might be prudent to conduct a patch test first or introduce the products gradually.

Wait - Has This Throwback Plumping Gloss Given Me Filler Worthy Lips?
I remember my first ever slick of lip plumping gloss well. I'd read about them in Mizz magazine, and I knew they were magic- rumour had it I could have lips to rival Angelina Jolie's with one application. For context, this was well before I was allowed to wear a full face of make-up- a time where my mum allowed me to buy one treasured Lancôme Juicy Tube for my birthday. I knew getting my hands on a hallowed lip plumper, however, would change everything. Glamour awaited! When I was eventually allowed my fist lip plumper, I was thrilled. I remember tentatively applying it, marvelling at the glossy finish that made me feel so put-together and grown-up. And then, it came. The sting. That sting . Millennials will unite at the very memory. It was never a cooling tingle. Oh no. Instead, a lip plumper provided the sensation of hot chillies being scrubbed across your lips continuously. It was painful. Really painful. And yet we persevered. If it was hurting, it must have been working, right? At some point over the years I set down my beloved lip plumping gloss in favour of something less, well, painful. And to be honest, I forgot it even existed. Until a recent press dinner with Boots, where my old companion was set out in front of me once more. Enter the Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Pillow Plump XXL Lip Gloss, £11.99, now with a modern day twist. I couldn't believe it. Memories of the school day sting came flooding back, admittedly. But in the name of beauty journalism (and out of pure curiosity) I decided to put it to the test - and I'm thrilled that I did. In a world obsessed with lip-plumping injections, it's easy to forget that there are less permanent options out there too. Infused with Soap & Glory's trademarked Superfill Plumping Technology, this gloss is designed to create a filler effect- no needles necessary. It's packed with nourishing ingredients to hydrate and plump lips in the long run, too. Castor seed oil, in particular, is known for its ability to soothe and moisturise and thus give lips a pillowy look. It also comes in four shades, meaning it doubles as both a plumper and a tint. 1. Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Pillow Plump XXL Lip Gloss Rachael Martin beauty director says: 'It turns out lip plumpers have come a long way since my school days. This one nourishes, imparts a soft wash of colour, and, crucially, really does plump the lips. It's long-lasting, the colour is beautiful, and it's an affordable treat. Would recommend.' Pros Really does plump lips impressively Easy application Excellent pigment Made with peptides Cons Still a slight, cooling tingle that some reviewers describe as unplesant Packaging isn't chic The formula activates on application, so you can apply it directly from the tube like a regular lip gloss. I prefer to line my lips first and then apply the gloss with a small brush. When I have the time this aids better precision and helps build up the colour gradually. But more often than not? I apply it straight from the tube. Rachael Martin, Beauty Director, says: 'It turns out lip-plumping glosses have come a long way since my school days. I like a bit of colour on my lips, so I went for the shade Fuchsia Proof- it's a vibrant, deep pink with the faintest hint of purple. While it looks a little intimidating in the tube (a wee bit punchy for someone like me who is a Pillow Talk loyalist), on the lips it's beautiful, turning out to be a more gentle, soft pink that works to enhance my natural lip colour. After lining my lips with the MAC Lip Pecil in Boldly Bare, I applied a small amount to the back of my hand. I then used a small lip brush to apply the formula directly. That's when the 'bloom' happens. At this point, there's definitely a tingle. Thankfully, it's far from the school-day level of chilli pain - more of a ok-something-is-happening-here sensation. And rather than the feeling of heat, it's more of a minty coolness. Within about 30 seconds, my lips are visibly plumper. There's a pillowy softness that I don't usually have. Fine dehydration lines are softened too, giving my lips a more fresh appearance. Have I had my lips filled? No. Does it look like I have? You know what? Maybe. They are definitely more pouty and full of themselves - when I compare the before and after photos a can see a subtle but definite difference in volume. In terms of longevity this holds up pretty well. I found the plumping effect lasted a couple of hours before needing a top-up. The pigment faded more quickly- as a habitual tea-drinker, I did have to reapply several times throughout the day to keep the pinky sheen going strong. But at such a bargain price, that really doesn't bother me. Soap and Glory Lip Plumping Gloss Before And After It turns out lip plumpers have come a long way since my school days. This one nourishes, imparts a soft wash of colour, and, crucially, really does plump the lips. It's long-lasting, the colour is beautiful, and it's an affordable treat. Would recommend. Shoppers call £30 Calvin Klein scent a 'vanilla lover's dream' that 'lasts all day'
'The scent is a lovely and subtle (not overpowering) balance of vanilla, and lasts a long time when I use it on my clothes and hair' Vanilla has long been one of the most timeless fragrance notes, loved for its warmth and sensuality that feels just as right for everyday wear as it does for a night out. One popular perfume is Calvin Klein's Nude Vanilla Body Mist, which shoppers are calling a 'dream for vanilla fans.' This fragrance, available for £30 via LookFantastic, Boots and Calvin Klein directly, is described as a 'sensual' mix of rich vanilla, musk accord and amber woods, giving it a warming vibe. The lightweight mist can also be spritzed onto hair, leaving locks smelling fresh and sexy throughout the day. Ideal for slipping into a handbag, it's perfect for top-ups on the go or for layering with other fragrances. Vanilla, in particular, pairs beautifully with spicy notes like cinnamon and floral accords such as jasmine and white musk - which you'll find as a base in bestselling perfumes like YSL Black Opium (£78, Boots) and Gucci's Flora Gorgeous Jasmine (£59.99, The Perfume Shop). 47 Skin's 'life-changing' skincare products for spot-prone teens are now 10% off Lisa Snowdon loves this hair serum that's 'must have for hair loss' now 20% off There are plenty more vanilla options to consider. One of my current favourites is Phlur's Vanilla Nectar (£25, Space NK), which opens with juicy papaya nectar and is grounded by smooth, creamy vanilla to soften the tropical notes and add warmth and maturity. Otherwise, Dior's Vanilla Diorama (£168) is expensive, but described as 'an exquisitely creamy vanilla mousseline, pricked with orange zests over a backdrop of bitter cocoa.' I also like Bon Parfumeur's 402, a sweet blend of vanilla, toffee, caramel, and sandalwood. Back to Calvin Klein's Nude Vanilla Body Mist, it has received plenty of great reviews via LookFantastic. One shopper said: "This is a vanilla lover's dream. I sprayed this on my hair and pulse points, and it lasted all day. The scent of vanilla and musk, which can be layered with other mists, is great. I even got compliments from strangers. "The spritzer is amazing, giving a mist, not too wide but just enough. The gorgeous packaging, lovely pink bottle complements the scent." Meanwhile, a second person remarked: "The scent is a lovely and subtle (not overpowering) balance of vanilla, and lasts a long time when I use it on my clothes and hair. Would defo recommend." It isn't all good news, though. A mixed review reads: "I'm not sure how to explain it otherwise, but as soon as I opened the lid, it smelt like I walked into a Victoria's Secret store, which isn't bad. It does have that smell of a cheaper fragrance (quite overpowering, a bit one-dimensional). "The bottle is large and a nice colour. I wouldn't reach for it daily, but maybe if I were in a rush and didn't want to waste a more expensive scent to go to the shops, I'd use it." But on a more positive note, this Calvin Klein fan said: "I enjoyed this product. It has a vanilla and musk scent. When it settles down, you can smell the musk. It lasts a while, but I like to pair it with a vanilla body cream to help make it last longer."

Sephora beauty advent calendar 2025 waitlist has opened – here's how to sign up
The Sephora beauty advent calendar was my favorite among all the ones I tried last year, so when I found out the 2025 edition was on its way, I could barely contain my excitement. The once US-only retailer – which launched in the UK in 2022 – is one of the latest beauty brands to unveil its Christmas calendar, with Boots, Harrods, Selfridges and more dropping earlier this month (browse my full selection of the best beauty advent calendars 2025). As the saying goes, good things come to those who wait and, based on the brand's early sneak peek at the first five products, it looks like we're in for a truly indulgent December. Sephora is keeping the price and worth of this year's calendar secret for now, but I can confirm that there will be an extra product compared to 2024 (totalling 41) and, as usual, 24 full-sizes. Scroll on for everything I know so far, including sign up details plus those all important first five items. So far, Sephora has revealed that its 2025 favourites calendar will go on sale for pre-orders on 3 September, with the waitlist open now for those eager to buy. The advent has sold out three years in a row, so joining the waitlist – and being among the first notified once it goes live – is one of the best things you can do to boost your chances of purchasing success. Plus, five lucky individuals from the waitlist will get to take home the calendar free of charge, so there's even more incentive to join. While last year's packaging was a slick silver with cerise accents, 2025's is glitzy in gold with neon light-style motifs. Promising buyers 'lots of exclusives', the first five products (listed below) comprise a mix of new and returning brands, with Medik8, Sephora own-brand and Glow Recipe also having featured in 2024's product line-up. So far the retailer has confirmed:
