Avika Gor Shares Update On Dipika Kakar's Health After Stage 2 Liver Cancer
Get ready to see a whole new side of Avika Gor as she returns to television screens with her fiancé, Milind Chandwani, for the upcoming reality show Pati Patni Aur Panga! The couple will be navigating relationship challenges on the show, and fans are already buzzing with excitement. But that's not the only reason Avika is making headlines for. At a recent pre-event for the show, the actress opened up about the health of her former co-star Dipika Kakar. FYI, Dipika recently underwent surgery for treatment of her stage 2 liver cancer.
When asked about whether Dipika is aware of her participation in Pati Patni Aur Panga while speaking with TellyMasala, Avika Gor confirmed that the former Bigg Boss winner knows about it. Reflecting on Dipika's health condition following the diagnosis of cancer, Avika chose to keep things respectful and warm.
However, she chose not to share anything about her health. 'About her health, I would want her to give updates, so we will see in the vlogs," she remarked.
Avika Gor played Dipika Kakar's younger sister in the hit show Sasural Simar Ka, which aired on Colors TV. The two actresses share a close bond and have been the biggest supporters of each other ever since working on the show. The daily soap also featured Shoaib Ibrahim, Dipika's husband, in the lead role. Meanwhile, Dipika, who underwent surgery last month, is currently seeking therapy for a full recovery.
As for Avika and Milind's relationship, the lovebirds got engaged last month and shared the happy news on Instagram. An excerpt from her caption read, 'He asked.. I smiled, I cried (in that order) and screamed the easiest YES of my life! I'm full filmy – background score, slow-mo dreams, mascara running and all. He's logical, calm, and let's carry a first-aid kit just in case. I manifest drama. He manages it. And somehow, we just… Fit."
Avika and Milind have been dating each other since 2020.
