Øya Festival 2025 review: leave your chaos at the door
As for the line up, one reveller described it as an opportunity to see 'Glastonbury-level artists with ten times fewer people'. They're not wrong: Chappell Roan headlined opening night with the flamboyance of a pop star who knows exactly how to command a stage. Her camp, theatrical energy was met with polite cheers from those over the age of 20, and ear-deafening screeches from the gaggle of dragged up tweens next to me. Wet Leg brought their tight indie riffs and dry British humour to a rain-drenched crowd who cheerily laughed along, even though the sarcasm was probably lost on them. And the big names don't stop there. Other iconic international acts included pop princess Charli xcx, pioneering rock band Queens of the Stone Age, and controversial Irish rap group Kneecap.

She was married to a Hollywood icon before becoming a silver screen siren in her own right...can you guess who?
She stole the heart of a true movie giant with her bombshell looks and then landed iconic film roles in the 1960s and '70s. After landing her Oscar-nominated role alongside Natalie Wood she went on to turn heads again years later in a hit Warren Beatty movie. The former model and actress, now age 88, was once a silver screen siren known just as much for her beauty and long list of admirers. She went on to marry second husband Stanley Fimberg in 1985 but also had high profile relationships with Johnny Carson and TV's original Tarzan, Ron Ely. Now 88, she no longer does much film work but still makes headlines for her public appearances such as sitting courtside at an LA Lakers game, and more recently, admitting she still has a very active romantic life. Can you guess who it is? This iconic glamor girl from the '60s and '70s was spotted looking as fashionable as ever while taking her adorable pooches for a walk in Los Angeles last week It's Dyan Cannon! The Hollywood icon was seen taking her dogs for a walk around her LA neighborhood, in exclusive Daily Mail photos. Cannon looked almost unrecognizable in oversized designer shades and with her famous blonde mane tied up in a high ponytail. She still looked stylish in a black top, leopard leggings, and leather sneakers. She accessorized with bronze drop cross earrings and a black designer purse. Cannon appeared sprightly but at one point did have to wrangle the pups through the streets as one dog seemed less interested in the stroll. Despite largely keeping away from the spotlight these days, Cannon made headlines back in April for sharing details about her still-active dating life. Exclusive Daily Mail photos show the Hollywood star ran into some trouble trying to wrangle her pups on the sidewalk after one showed a little resistance While attending the 10th Annual Hollywood Beauty Awards, she revealed that she still likes to juggle multiple 'friends with benefits' — and there are still 'more to come,' according to People. When she was asked if she was still dating, she responded with an 'of course,' before clarifying that she's only interested if the person is 'somebody very special.' She added that she was seeing 'several special [people]...' at the moment, adding that she had multiple physical connections with partners that didn't come with the baggage of relationships and commitment. 'I have friends with benefits, yes,' she admitted. Cannon began acting in the 50s and early 1960s with various television guest roles, but it was her relationship with film superstar Cary Grant – who was 33 years her senior – that elevated her public image. He asked to meet her after seeing her in Ely's diving drama Malibu Run. The two married in 1965 and had one daughter, Jennifer, before their divorce three years later. It wasn't until after their split that Dyan became a major Hollywood star in her own right thanks to her Oscar-nominated role in the counter-culture hit Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice which follows two friendly couples who experiment with swinging. Wood, Robert Culp and Elliott Gould were the others in the ménage à quatre. She also appeared opposite Sean Connery in The Anderson Tapes and in Otto Preminger's Such Good Friends – which earned her a Golden Globe nomination. She followed that up with two more Oscar nods – for the short film Number One and as the gold-digging Julia Farnsworth in Warren Beatty's Heaven Can Wait. Besides Grant, Cannon was also married to businessman Stanley Fimberg, whom she divorced in 1991 after a six-year union. Other notable past relationships include chat show legend Carson, Ely, comedian Mort Sahl, talent agent Ron Weisner and actors Armond Assante, Hy Chase and Michael Nouri. Though she has acted less frequently in recent years, Cannon turned to writing with the publication of her memoir Dear Cary: My Life With Cary Grant in 2011. The book was a bestseller and came after she had turned down lucrative offers to write a memoir about her marriage for decades.

Carmen Electra reveals risqué way Kim Kardashian has helped her turn heads
Carmen Electra revealed that she has been turning heads a lot recently thanks to the help of her friend Kim Kardashian. The blonde bombshell, 53, said that the SKIMS founder, 44, sent some lingerie her way - and it's a bra featuring faux nipple piercing details. During an casual outing in West Hollywood on Saturday, she flaunted her fit physique in a casual outfit and revealed that the pièce de résistance of her outfit - nipple piercings - was not real. 'SKIMS,' she said of the bra. 'Kim actually sent me this outfit. It looks like my boobs are pierced, but they're not, it's a bra. 'She's so sweet, she's the best. I love Kim,' she said. The Baywatch star looked incredible in a basic, skintight T-shirt paired with light-wash, figure-hugging jeans (and head-turning SKIMS bra) while leaving the restaurant Casa Madera. The blonde bombshell, 53, said that the Skims founder, 44, sent some lingerie her way and one particular bra featuring nipple piercing details has been catching extra attention She gushed over the reality TV personality — a little over two years since she starred in an eye-popping SKIMS swimsuit campaign alongside Jenny McCarthy in July 2023. Her outing comes over two years since she left little to the imagination while modeling for one of Kardashian's SKIMS campaigns. Back in 2023, she joined fellow MTV icon Jenny McCarthy in showing off their toned frames and ample assets in tiny string bikinis. In the campaign, the two blonde bombshells posed as if they were working at a car wash while barely dressed in sexy swimsuits. At the time, the pair gushed over getting the chance to work together again, looking like nearly nothing had changed since their Playboy days in the noughties. McCarthy said: 'I couldn't be more excited to be a part of SKIMS' latest campaign. The energy on set was incredible, especially shooting alongside Carmen, who looks amazing! It felt like we were back in the '90s, and years later, we're still having fun!' The pair are longtime pals, having risen to fame together on MTV and via glamor modeling for Playboy. Electra landed her iconic Baywatch role as bombshell lifeguard Lani McKenzie in 1997, which helped establish her as a sex symbol. However, the star left the series after one season because of her hectic schedule and her mother being ill. She later returned for the reunion movie, Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding, in 2003. Back in 2020, Electra shared the secrets to her ageless looks — a strict diet, plenty of water and a carefully curated skincare routine that she has been using for the past 20 years. Speaking to Daily Mail, the former Playboy model explained that people often accuse her of undergoing surgery in order to keep up her appearances, noting that so many people in Hollywood have gone under the knife that it is usually assumed everyone has. 'Let's be real, we are in Hollywood here and when I share the real story most people are shocked, because normally a woman would have certain things done,' she said. 'In my case I am completely free of [surgery] and I would say [my youthful appearance] is because of my discipline with my skincare routine,' she continued. 'For the moment I am happy with my routine and it's working!' she said, adding of those who do go under the knife: 'I feel that everyone has the right to be who they want without judgement.' She said she does have one piece of advice for anyone who is considering surgery, however, and told her fans to 'take your time and look at all the options before going under the knife.' 'I would say never rush anything in life,' she explained said. 'Beauty and self-care especially should be like an adventure where you can explore all the many amazing modern options people have available, [both] surgical and non-surgical.'
