Draw was fair result

Published on: Saturday, August 16, 2025 Published on: Sat, Aug 16, 2025 By: James Wong Text Size: I must admit that I know nothing about this team. I wish Sabah FC all the best in this away game and I am confident that we should be able to register our first victory of the new season. SABAH FC's first game in the new Super League season ended with a 1-1 draw at the Kuala Lumpur City FC at the KLFA Stadium on Wednesday. We were actually heading for a defeat until lanky Gabriel Peres became the saviour for the team when he scored in the dying seconds with a well-timed header for the equaliser. I thought Sabah FC had a very good game in the first half and had many chances to score but no one was clinical enough to put the ball into the back of the net. It was the same scenario like last season although Darren Lok, Fergus Tierney and Miguel Cifuentes combined quite well in attacks. Subscribe or LOG IN to access this article.
