BJP Leaders Call for Strategic Mobilization Ahead of Telangana Elections
Addressing the gathering, district president RamAnjaneyulu elaborated on the numerous public welfare and development schemes implemented by the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He emphasized the need for grassroots-level strengthening of the party ahead of the upcoming elections.
In his remarks, Bhagat Reddy pointed out that the party was focused on training its cadre to approach voters strategically and strengthen BJP's presence among the electorate. 'Our aim is to enhance organizational maturity and ensure that voters are attracted towards BJP through structured outreach,' he said.
Taking a jibe at the current Telangana government, he criticized the extravagant spending at recent state events, citing an example where dinner plates reportedly cost Rs. 1,01,000 each at a Miss World-themed banquet at Chowmahalla Palace. He added, 'The Chief Minister claims the state is bankrupt and no one is willing to lend us money, but is simultaneously indulging in such lavish spending.'
Reddy further criticized the Congress-led state government, stating that the reality of governance in Telangana is disappointing, despite flashy slogans like 'Telangana Racing Number 1' being plastered everywhere. 'It's a case of big claims and poor performance,' he remarked.
He called upon BJP workers to act proactively and with dedication to ensure the party's victory in the upcoming elections, urging them to take responsibility for strengthening the party at all levels.
The event was attended by a number of party leaders and supporters, including Aija and Gadwal mandal presidents Gopala Krishna and Telugu Srinivasulu, town vice president Lakshman Goud, district OBC Morcha executive members Lakshmanachari, Bellankonda Nagaraju, Rajasekhar, Mahesh, and others.
The workshop aimed to boost morale, enhance strategic planning, and ensure stronger ground-level connectivity with the public as the political landscape in Telangana heats up ahead of elections.

The CM slammed the earlier AAP government and legislators, saying, "Earlier, MLAs remained confined to their offices and homes. But each MLA of the BJP is now working tirelessly for the public." At an earlier event, she said the government is aiming to ensure that the bed per 1,000 patient ratio should improve to 5 from the current level of around 2.7. CM Gupta also announced her government's plans to introduce a PPP model for purchasing medical equipment in hospitals and complete the development of the 24 hospitals whose construction was suspended midway by the previous government. Later, taking to the social media platform X, the CM said, "Today, the Jan Seva Kendra was inaugurated in the Greater Kailash Assembly constituency and dedicated to public service." "This centre will serve as an effective medium for resolving the problems of the common people, providing information about the schemes of the Central and State Governments, and delivering prompt assistance to those in need, in line with the commitment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to service and good governance," she wrote. "The BJP's double-engine government is committed to ensuring that development, service, and rights reach the last person in line in a time-bound manner," she wrote.

Internal quota: Parameshwara appeals to groups to not protest
Home Minister G. Parameshwara here on Sunday said that the Congress government was committed to implementing internal reservation for Scheduled Caste communities in the State and appealed to those threatening to stage protest seeking implementation of it to not do so. 'We had made the declaration on internal reservation in Chitradurga and we have also committed to it in our manifesto. Whatever we need to do should be done according to the procedure and guidelines issued by the Supreme Court. We are committed to implementing internal reservation; procedures have to be followed for which we need some time,' he told presspersons. His statement comes in the light of Dalit left (Madigas) groups threatening a protest from August 11. Dalit left leaders from the BJP, including Govind Karjol and A. Narayanaswamy, have also made such a threat. The Minister said that the commission, headed by retired judge H.N. Nagamohan Das, would submit its report to the government on August 4. It would discussed in the State Cabinet and steps would be taken to implement the recommendations. The A.J. Sadashiva Commission report was not accepted by the then BJP government because of data issues. On the meeting of Ministers from the Scheduled Caste community that he had convened, Dr. Parameshwara said that it was decided to have a common voice on the internal reservation. 'If there are any issues with communities, it was decided to talk to them.'

Palaniswami accuses Stalin of having ‘knelt' before the BJP to protect family
AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Sunday alleged DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin had 'knelt' before the BJP to protect the interests of his family and assets. In a statement, Mr. Palaniswami said Mr Stalin, who is heading a 'failure model' government had accused the AIADMK was a slave to the BJP, which has been leading an 'efficient government' in the Centre. 'Mr. Stalin, have you forgotten not just the people of Tamil Nadu but your own partymen, saw you kneeling and warming up to the BJP to protect your family and the assets you looted?' he posed. Alleging the DMK government was making hollow promises, he said the AIADMK had to come down to the streets and meet the people there. 'Let us see if you would realise the state of affairs of your government at least by then.' The former CM said he has travelled for about 3,200 km under his 'Makkalai Kaappom, Thamizhagathai Meetpom' campaign. Those he met flagged the issues of rising taxes, drinking water scarcity, issues facing the MSME sector, lack of programmes for the welfare of farmers and students communities, among others. Mr. Palaniswami also recalled having met a Christian priest in Thoothukudi, who shared his apprehensions over the circulation of banned drugs among students. He also called upon his partymen to collect list of public grievances and submit them in the party head office.
