Vconnct Launches ‘Space': The First Integrated Arab Platform Promoting Digital Sovereignty and Competing with Global Solutions

Vconnct, the leading provider of digital sovereignty solutions, announced the official launching of its new platform 'Space', as the first integrated Arab digital platform that includes more than 40 unified applications and platforms, to serve as an alternative to the systems provided by international companies such as Microsoft and Google. The platform targets governmental institutions and major companies in the region, at a time the Arab world is witnessing a rapid growth in the governmental and private sector's drive to localize technology and enhance digital sovereignty, as a strategic option to reduce reliance on foreign software and ensure the protection of national data. Eng. Maged Aref, Vconnect company CEO, said that launching 'Space' represents more than just a technological platform, but it is a practical step towards building an integrated sovereign system that provides an arabian alternative to global solutions such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. He added 'the need for our major organizations to outsource their digital infrastructure is over, we offer not only an alternative, but a superior model that offers every organization full ownership of its data besides an additional, powerful and smart brain, in reference to the platform's integration of an advanced artificial intelligence engine that acts as the central nervous system for managing operations and knowledge within organizations'. Aref explained that this launch coincides with the company's announcement of the 'Arab Technology Localization' initiative, which aims to consolidate the region's position as a source for providing technology solutions, not only consuming them, noting that the initiative will contribute in opening the way for multiple economic opportunities, starting with offering new jobs and developing the skills of local talents, besides encouraging startups to develop arabic applications built on the same platform. He emphasized that the importance of 'Space' is not limited on being just a new platform, however its strength stems from its deep technical integration and advanced organizational foundations, through integrated sections that include systems for human resources management, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and client relationship management (CRM), in addition to administrative and collaborative work environments such as ' as an alternative to 'Microsoft Teams', and ' as an alternative to 'Microsoft Office'. 'Space' is distinguished than any other solution on the market by its deep and comprehensive integration with 'Space AI' artificial smart platform, which works as the central nervous system for the entire system, unlike other solutions that use AI for isolated tasks, as Space AI is designed to be the 'additional brain' of an organization, with the ability to understand and analyze all its knowledge assets. He stated 'imagine having a super-powerful smart assistant that has read every document, every email, every report, and every meeting minute in your organization, and is ready to help you at any moment, in addition to maintaining absolute sovereignty over it'. Vconnct offers a unique business model that reinforces the concept of data privacy, in light of growing geopolitical challenges, thus 'Space' system was designed to be fully deployed on the client's infrastructure, whether on local servers or via a private cloud within the country. This formula ensures that all of an organization's data—from the smallest message to the largest strategic plan—remains under its full control, which gave the organizations increased confidence in using digital communication and collaboration tools. He pointed that this launching comes at a time when the economic growth of the ICT market in the region is accelerating, which opens up vast prospects for sovereign digital solutions such as 'Space', and according to Mordor Intelligence report, it is expected that the size of the ICT market in Egypt to reach approximately $23.6 billion in 2025, rising to approximately $53.1 billion by 2030, within a compound annual growth rate of 17.6%, and in Middle East and North Africa, the ICT market size reached approximately $227.75 billion in 2024 and is expected to expand to $629.41 billion by 2034, at a compound annual growth rate of approximately 10.7%. In addition, Cognitive Market Research data shows that the Middle East telecom market grew from $47.27 billion in 2021 to $60.80 billion in 2025, and it is expected to reach $100.61 billion by 2033, with an annual compound growth rate of 6.50%. He assured that this accelerating economic context reflects the expanding opportunities available to 'Space' to be part of the digital growth engine and the local technology market. The experience that Arab institutions is provided with are integrated, sovereign, and robust solutions, paves the way for sustainable economic development, and it is based on the principle that digital sovereignty is not a technological luxury, but rather a pillar of national security and economic stability, in a move, experts believe that it could mark the beginning of a new phase of serious competition between Arab and regional solutions, and global technology giants on the other side. تم نسخ الرابط

NASA, Google Create AI Doctor for Space

Israa Farhan NASA and Google are jointly testing a new artificial intelligence-powered medical assistant designed to support astronauts during long-duration missions to the Moon and Mars. According to the project aims to help astronauts diagnose and treat medical issues in deep space, where immediate consultations with Earth-based doctors are impossible and returning home is not an option. As part of its Artemis program, NASA is working with Google to trial a prototype called the Crew Medical Officer Digital Assistant (CMODI). The AI-driven system is designed to analyze symptoms, previous diagnoses, and test results before suggesting possible treatments or diagnostic options. The technology would give astronauts the ability to independently manage health challenges beyond low-Earth orbit, ensuring they can address medical concerns during lunar or Martian expeditions without relying on delayed communications with doctors on Earth. highlighted that this digital health assistant could also prove invaluable on Earth, especially in remote or hard-to-reach regions where medical professionals are scarce. read more UAE's Lunar Mission Delayed to Tomorrow Twitter Lifts Trump's Account Ban Scientists Find Evidence Of 10،000 Black Holes Surrounding The Center Of The Milky Way Galaxy Greenhouse In Antarctica Able To Grow Vegetables Without Soil Or Sunlight Moving Over China: U.S. Is Again Home to World's Speediest Supercomputer Technology The 10 most expensive cars in the world Technology Top 10 fastest cars in the world Technology Lasers Could Make Computers 1 Million Times Faster Technology Smart technology taking control of our lives Videos & Features Story behind Trending Jessica Radcliffe Death Video News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt News The Jessica Radcliffe Orca Attack? 100% Fake and AI-Generated

WhatsApp Says Russia Attempts to Block Service for more than 100 Million Users

Taarek Refaat WhatsApp, owned by U.S. tech giant Meta, accused Russian authorities of attempting to block its services for more than 100 million users in the country, citing the app's refusal to weaken its end-to-end encryption standards. In a statement, the company stressed that WhatsApp 'is private, end-to-end encrypted, and will challenge any government's attempt to undermine people's right to secure communication.' It pledged to 'do everything possible to keep this encrypted service available to everyone, including users in Russia.' The remarks come after Moscow began restricting certain calls on WhatsApp and Telegram, accusing foreign platforms of failing to cooperate with law enforcement on cases related to fraud and terrorism. The move underscores a deepening standoff between Western technology companies and the Russian government, which is tightening control over information flows within its borders. The dispute is part of a broader pattern in Russia's digital landscape, where platforms such as Telegram, Google, and YouTube have previously faced blocks or heavy restrictions under laws aimed at monitoring online content and user data. For WhatsApp, holding the line on encryption is both a privacy principle and a brand statement, even at the risk of losing market share in Russia. read more CBE: Deposits in Local Currency Hit EGP 5.25 Trillion Morocco Plans to Spend $1 Billion to Mitigate Drought Effect Gov't Approves Final Version of State Ownership Policy Document Egypt's Economy Expected to Grow 5% by the end of 2022/23- Minister Qatar Agrees to Supply Germany with LNG for 15 Years Business Oil Prices Descend amid Anticipation of Additional US Strategic Petroleum Reserves Business Suez Canal Records $704 Million, Historically Highest Monthly Revenue Business Egypt's Stock Exchange Earns EGP 4.9 Billion on Tuesday Business Wheat delivery season commences on April 15 Videos & Features Story behind Trending Jessica Radcliffe Death Video News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt News The Jessica Radcliffe Orca Attack? 100% Fake and AI-Generated
