Kylie Jenner was on hand to support boyfriend Timothée Chalamet at the 2025 BAFTA Awards on Sunday. The beauty mogul has been attending many of Chalamet's award appearances to support his latest film 'A Complete Unknown.'
She often skips the red carpet but she never skips on the looks. At the BAFTAs, she and stylists Mackenzie Grandquist and Rose Grandquist unearthed a vintage black sheer John Galliano halter dress from 1995.

With it, Jenner flattered her feet in a pair of dainty Amina Muaddi Diamante sandals. The sandals are thin, strappy shoes. They feature a silver mirror base and a rounded toe. The thin silver straps are studded in small white diamante crystals.
This includes a strap across the toes, as well as a slingback strap behind the foot and one at the ankle for security. The stiletto heel is just over four inches and is also made of the silver mirror like the rest of the upper. Amina Muaddi sells the made in Italy styles for $1,560. The company also has them available with a black base.
While boyfriend Chalamet wasn't quite as glamorous, he did choose a more dapper style than he has been in as of late. The actor wore a black custom Bottega Veneta set designed by Matthieu Blazy, who is no longer with the label. It included a cropped double breasted black jacket and double pleated trousers. In place of a button down white shirt, he wore a black tank top and silver chains. The jewelry was from Cartier.
For shoes he wore a pair of the Bottega Veneta Dalton ankle boots. The styles feature not only a Cuban heel but a thick platform sole courtesy of a rubber injected later. This mades the heel just over 2 inches. They are made of a shiny black calfskin leather. Chalamet was styled by Taylor McNeill.
The British Academy Film Awards are an annual show that awards the best in film. This year top winners include 'Conclave' as well as 'The Brutalist.' Mikey Madison won the Best Leading Actress award this year in an awards race that is watching her gradually become a leading contender for the American Academy award.

The best looks toed the line of mod trends that have gained significant traction on social media recently, while also adding playful touches to complement the diverse set of personalities outside Cipriani Wall Street. She styled the warm shade with flipped layers, tucking her front bangs behind a pair of pink see-through lenses. Carrie Coon flattened her signature blond bob after it was kept curly for her the majority of her role in Mike White's 'The White Lotus' Season Three. The straightened 'do was reminiscent of the mod bob movement on TikTok, which has already spawned a metaphorical protest against long hair. Not only did 'Gilmore Girls' showrunner Amy Sherman-Palladino pose with shoulder-length, inky black hair, but she layered the trendy hairstyle with a dark top hat. Writer Mara Brock Akil boasted her coiled curls in a half-up, half-down hairdo outside Cipriani Wall Street for the 2025 Gotham Television Awards. Model Esther McGregor arrived to the 2025 Gotham Television Awards in New York City with a mullet-inspired hairdo. Her long blond locks were curled around her ears and styled in a side part with her front fringe framing her face. The childlike playfulness was not any different from the kaleidoscopic fashion he typically dons on the red carpet. Benito Skinner added a light layer of pink blush to his cheeks and a slip of shimmery gloss over his lips to achieve a clean, natural visage in front of the cameras. Skye P. Marshall presented a glowy makeup look, comprised of bright white eye shadow on the base of her lids, thick layers of black liner on top of her eye and smudged in her waterline and a touch of silver shimmer in the inner eye corners. Model Martine went for a clean, consistent base juxtaposed with a pop of color on the mouth. The internet personality pursed her red-colored lips in front of the camera outside Cipriani Wall Street. Madeline Brewer dusted her eyelids amber-colored shadow, smudging the color in below her waterline to create a smoky effect. Her lips were painted in a shimmery pink shade, while her cheeks were subtly decorated in a matching blush. Skirts Over Jeans Is 2025's Most Polarising Comeback Trend. Here's Proof It Works

While some people wish never to recall early 2000s trends, to this day, my inner pre-teen clings to the skirt-over-jeans look. Protest all you want, but there's something so right about Ashley Tisdale in a sequin mini skirt and matching ballet flats, bridged by baggy boot-cut jeans. The Y2K trend has gradually returned to mainstream fashion over the last few years, but it remains as polarising as the skinny jeans debate (which is also turning on its head, by the way). Our cultural consensus swings from skirts-over-jeans being cool to it being a total layering faux pas. But as seen with this year's capri pants renaissance, it's often the most divisive trends that make the best outfits. The winter 2024 runways proved its sartorial power, with Paloma Wool and Conner Ives pairing bubble skirts with pants, and Marques' Almeida styling a mini dress on top of wide-leg jeans. For spring/summer 2025, Chopova Lowena and Diesel's runways were masterclasses in double-denim looks, while Bottega Veneta previewed midi skirts over pants, too. Besides being designer-approved, wearing a skirt over jeans also has practical benefits. The additional layer extends the wear of your summer skirts, keeping you warmer than tights. By blending feminine and flowy styles with casual bottoms, you can transform both items for any occasion, from the office to a night out. For tips and inspiration for this nostalgic layering hack, scroll on to discover the four ways I'm styling skirts over jeans this fall. Start with a midi skirt over jeans if you're dipping your toe into the trend: The longer length allows for more styling freedom. I was inspired by Chopova Lowena's pleated skirt styling and paired a knee-length kilt with oversized jeans for this off-duty 'fit. While the outfit would have been pretty classic without the jeans, the added layer gives it the perfect laid-back vibes for casual weekend plans. How To Style A Skirt Over Printed Jeans Print-clashing can be daunting but thanks to the eclectic styling of this trend, bold pattern choices work well. Here, I paired a Marine Serre tartan mini skirt that I got from Depop with my faithful leopard-print jeans to achieve a rebellious schoolgirl look. Keep it simple with neutrals everywhere else to avoid the existential crisis vibes. How To Style A Mini Dress Over Jeans I know, I know: A mini dress isn't technically a skirt — but tell me this doesn't have the same indie-inspired impact. I love this party dress from the Turkish brand Maksu, but rarely have an opportunity to wear it. By adding jeans and a motorcycle jacket, I can dress it down for various occasions and wear it more often throughout the year. How To Wear A Skirt Over Metallic Jeans This combination of a black mini with metallic pants proves that a skirt over jeans can be dressed up, too. By styling with dark neutrals throughout the rest of the outfit, you can ensure your jeans (and you) will be the star of the show. Pair with pointed-toe shoes to elevate the look.

Clumsy Kitten Napping on Dad's Guitar Is the Definition of Cuteness Overload

We've all seen countless adorable videos of babies (both human and animal) sleeping, but have you ever seen one of a kitten napping on a guitar as dad plays and sings? TikToker Elgunnasibli has been posting videos of his tiny kitten doing just that, and it's the cutest thing you'll see today. The video is a montage of clips showing all the times his 'clumsy kitten' has slept so soundly on his guitar that he slips right off it! We can't get enough of the cuteness and could watch it on repeat all day! Swoon! What an adorable kitten! Now we need to learn to play the guitar and then get a kitten! Elgunnasibili's video has racked up millions of views and has more than a thousand loved it! @Abiska Aveely got more than 25 thousand likes when they said, "The fact that one day they'll be too big to do this is so sad!" @LazyPaws added, "He knows you're always gonna catch him. That's why. He trusts you with all his life." @Jus Samanka agreed, "The dad reflex is so real!"Commenter @julianyeen asked, "I wonder if the vibrations feel like purring, so they think you're purring at them?!" We thought that was a reasonable guess but wondered if cats really enjoy music. According to PBS, not human music. "Cats, in fact, do enjoy music, but they don't enjoy human music — at least according to new research. A study recently published in the journal Applied Animal Behavior Science believes that in order for our feline friends to enjoy music, it has to be species-specific music." Species-specific music? The article went on to explain what that means. It's music "that fits into how the animal communicates, writes University of Wisconsin psychologists and study authors Megan Savage and Charles Snowdon. 'We have developed a theoretical framework that hypothesizes that in order for music to be effective with other species, it must be in the frequency range and with similar tempos to those used in natural communication by each species.' Curious to hear what cat music sounds like? You can check it out here. Clumsy Kitten Napping on Dad's Guitar Is the Definition of Cuteness Overload first appeared on PetHelpful on May 22, 2025
