Will Ashley, Bianca De Vera, Dustin Yu express excitement for 'Love You So Bad' film

Will Ashley, Bianca De Vera, and Dustin Yu are all excited for their upcoming film together! According to Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Thursday, the project is titled "Love You So Bad." "Kami naman lahat sa Bahay ni Kuya, 'yun 'yung dream namin paglabas, makapag-work kami together. But ngayon, tatlo kami, super talagang natuloy 'yung manifestation," Dustin said. Bianca said that she had dreamed of this since she was a little girl. "And I've waited for this moment for a very, very long time. So, grabe. Parang sabi ko, 'Shucks, totoo ba 'to? Kasi Lord, kung panaginip lang ito, gisingin mo na ako,'" she said. "Nung sinabi sa akin na magkakaroon kami ng film, sobrang na-excite ako. Kasi sobrang love ko talaga mag-shoot ng mga film and sobrang na-e-enjoy ko. And knowing na makasama ko sila Dustin, sila Bianca," Will said. The movie will be directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar and written by Crystal Hazel San Miguel. "Merong parang two sides. So, who's gonna win? It's that tug-of-war na parang who's going to win? Beautiful love story, full of kilig, a lot of lessons. And of course, this will resonate to all," Cruz-Alviar said. "Magkaibang magkaiba din 'yung kind of love na i-te-tell din kasi namin," San Miguel said. Will teased that his character is close to his real personality, while Bianca likened her role to her pre-PBB version. "So, 'yun siguro yung dapat nilang abangan. Pero, siyempre, meron naman itong mga pagkakaiba sa Will Ashley at dito sa aking character," Will said. "We're gonna reopen some wound, sabi ko. Babalikan natin," Bianca said. Dustin said that he will play the role of someone who is "misunderstood." Bianca and Dustin are set to star in a music video shot in Rizal. Meanwhile, Will and Bianca also have an upcoming project together and previously worked together in "Unbreak My Heart." Lola Amour unable to pursue complaint over campaign jingles that used 'Raining in Manila' without permission

Lola Amour said that they were not able to pursue a complaint against candidates who used their song "Raining in Manila" for their campaign jingles without permission during the recent elections. On Thursday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the OPM band said that they posted a public disclaimer, stating they were not connected to the jingles or the politicians using their music. "Pinost namin 'yun dahil we just wanted to protect our fans from thinking na nag-e-endorse kami ng mga taong hindi namin alam 'yung plataporma," Pio Dumayas said. The band said that this was not an isolated incident, marking the second election cycle where their music was used without permission. "Hindi namin ine-expect na it would reach Comelec, and they also advised us to file a complaint," Pio said. However, this is where the band encountered a significant hurdle. "By the time that we were on this spotlight again, hindi namin mahanap 'yung mga clips or 'yung mga jingles. Kasi siyempre nag-take down agad sila once naging issue. So in-advise lang kami legally na dapat maghanap kami ng ebidensya," Pio said. The immediate removal made it unfeasible for Lola Amour to gather the necessary evidence for a complaint. "At least to us, we were happy na naging topic na rin siya sa news. We were able to open up this conversation na decades na siyang ginagamit 'yung music ng mga artists na wala namang permission," Pio said. "Raining in Manila," a song they released in 2024, quickly became one of their hit tracks, with international acts such as Enhypen's Jake and GOT7's Bambam jamming to the song. Even the Kapuso Comedy Genius Michael V. was so hyped with the song that he made a parody of it called "Waiting Here sa Pila," which is about people lining up for coffee. Last week, Lola Amour released their new album, "Love on Loop." They are holding the Love On Loop: The Album Concert on September 12 at Space at One Ayala in Makati. —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News
