2025 offseason roster profile: WR Tejhaun Palmer

USA Today17-02-2025

The Arizona Cardinals are in offseason mode and we are still weeks away from free agency and months from the NFL draft. Over the next little while, we will take a look at each player on the roster or signed to a reserve deal and break down where they stand with the team.
We will look at their 2024 season, their contract status and what their status is for the coming offseason and 2025 season.
Next up is wide receiver Tejhaun Palmer.
2024 Tejhaun Palmer stats, season
Palmer was a rookie in 2024 after the Cardinals selected him in the sixth round of the 2024 draft out of UAB.
He did not make the roster but spent the entire season on the practice squad.
2025 contract status
He signed a futures deal with the team after the season's completion. He will make $840,000 in 2025, matching his cap, although the Cardinals do carry almost $139,000 in dead money because he was released last year.
Outlook for 2025
Palmer enters 2025 having to compete for a spot on the roster. A perfect scenario would be him showing enough to make the final 53 and begin contributing. But that is not a guarantee, so his future with the team is definitely uncertain.

Monahan to step down as PGA Tour commissioner

PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan will step down at the end of his contract in 2026, the tour confirmed (Richard HEATHCOTE) PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan will step down when his contract ends next year, the tour announced in a statement on Tuesday. Monahan, who replaced predecessor Tim Finchem in 2017, will gradually hand over his day-to-day responsibilities to newly appointed chief executive Brian Rolapp. Advertisement Rolapp joins the tour after two decades with the National Football League, where he recently served as chief media and business officer. "A year ago, I informed our boards that upon completing a decade as Commissioner, I would step down from my role at the end of 2026," Monahan said. "Since then, we've worked together to identify a leader who can build on our momentum and develop a process that ensures a smooth transition. "We've found exactly the right leader in Brian Rolapp, and I'm excited to support him as he transitions from the NFL into his new role leading the PGA Tour." Advertisement Monahan will depart his role after a turbulent final few years of his tenure, which saw golf erupt into a virtual civil war with the rise of the Saudi-backed LIV Golf circuit. A staunch critic of LIV, Monahan infuriated many players after it emerged the PGA Tour had secretly brokered an agreement with LIV to form a partnership with Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), which bankrolls LIV. Negotiations aimed at a final agreement between the PGA Tour and LIV are ongoing. Speaking at a press conference ahead of this week's Travelers Championship, incoming chief executive Rolapp said he hoped to unify the sport. Advertisement "I think the fans have been pretty clear," Rolapp said. "They want to see the best golfers competing against each other. I agree with that. "When it comes to the situation with LIV, I think that's a complex situation that's probably something I should learn more about before I speak. "But I will say my focus is on growing the Tour, making it better, and really moving on from the position of strength that it has." rcw/jc

Donna Kelce Refuses To Apologize For Where She Stands Politically

Donna Kelce Refuses To Apologize For Where She Stands Politically originally appeared on The Spun. Donna Kelce is back in the headlines this week, as the mother of Jason and Travis had some big news to share of her own. The mother of the two longtime NFL stars is set to make her first reality TV appearance. Donna Kelce, who raised Jason and Travis Kelce in Ohio, will be appearing on the upcoming season of "The Traitors" on Peacock. The reality game show places a cast of celebrities, reality TV stars and others inside of a Scottish castle. A small group of people are secretly chosen to be "traitors," who vote out the "faithful" one by one. The faithful do their best to identify the traitors at roundtable votes. If a traitor makes it to the finish, they win the money; if not, the remaining faithful take it home. Donna Kelce will be part of an exciting cast for the new season. "Sundays were just the beginning. I raised two playmakers, but now it's Mama's turn 🃏⚔️," she wrote on Instagram. Much like Travis and Jason Kelce, Mama Kelce enjoys the spotlight. She's made appearances on morning shows and talk shows, while appearing in endorsement deals for companies like State Farm. Meanwhile, she's made it clear where she stands politically, too. The mother of the longtime NFL stars defended the "controversial" Opening Ceremony at the Summer Olympics in 2024. Many on the right were bothered by the Opening Ceremony, which featured drag queens. But Donna Kelce defended it. "This is was what went down last night, so do your own research into the Olympics," the post shared by Donna Kelce read. "The scene was a portrayal of a Greek Dionysus Feast celebration, which is a Greek (the origin of the Olympics) celebration of Dionysus (who is also known as Bacchus) who is the god of festivities, ritual, wine, pleasure, and frenzy. The blue guy…..that's Dionysus. Dionysus was one of the 12 Olympians. "The French are known for theatrics. "Historical context and education surrounding the Olympics and its origin is important here in this. Many of you fell for the controversy in spun-up click bait. "Stop mindlessly sharing posts and do some research." Both Jason and Travis Kelce appear to lean left on many political issues, too. So, it's no real surprise that Mama Kelce would be the same. It'll be fun to see what Donna Kelce can do in the upcoming season of "The Traitors" on Peacock.
