‘Love, Death and Robots' Season 4 Sets May Return Date, Releases First Look
The official synopsis for this season reads: 'Dinosaur gladiators, messianic cats, string-puppet rock stars, it can only be 'Love, Death and Robots.' The fourth volume, presented by Tim Miller ('Deadpool,' 'Terminator: Dark Fate') and David Fincher ('Mindhunter,' 'The Killer'), sees Jennifer Yuh Nelson ('Kung Fu Panda 2,' 'Kill Team Kill') return as supervising director for ten startling shorts showcasing the series' signature, award-winning style of bleeding-edge animation, horror, sci-fi and humor. Buckle up.'

Since premiering in 2019, the series has gone on to win 13 Emmy Awards across 15 nominations. Most recently, it picked up its third straight nomination for best short form animated program — the same category the first two seasons won for. For Season 3's 'Jibaro,' Alberto Mielgo won the juried Emmy Award for best individual achievement in animation.
The show has also garnered high-profile voice actors over the years, including Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Joel McHale, Topher Grace, John DiMaggio, Elodie Young and Chris Parnell.
At the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in 2021, Miller said: 'The way I felt is that there was not a lot of adult animation in the west, and particularly not in America, and particularly not at the budget levels that allowed for really high-end CG like what was going on at Pixar and DreamWorks for kids. And we felt it was time to do that for adults.'

Ever since the 2025 Netflix release KPop Demon Hunters hit the streaming schedule in June, the Sony Pictures Animation movie has been getting the world talking and singing. With the animated movie being about a girl group whose songs are used as weapons against demons, you can't help but feel empowered while listening to the soundtrack and trying to hit those high notes. However, a social media user claimed that the movie's songs are AI-made, and that led to one of the film's singers dropping a blunt reply. The internet is obsessed with KPop Demon Hunters' music, with plenty of fans singing covers on social media and copying the choreography. And that popularity is abundantly clear when you look at Billboard and see "Golden" in the No. 1 spot on the Hot 100 and Global 200. Even Stitch felt the need to dance to 'Soda Pop' at Disney World! Truly, there's no denying that Huntr/x and the Saja Boys were the fictional music groups we didn't know we needed. However, it appears one social media user felt the music from the 2025 movie release was too good to be true. While re-posting about 'Golden' being the first female K-pop song to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, @TheTitanBaddie claimed: Y'all realize this is one step towards AI completely taking over the music industry as well right? This is truly an outrageous assumption. There's no evidence to suggest that AI was used for KPop Demon Hunters' music. That's proven too by the impressive stellar talent brought on to provide Huntr/x's singing voices. Fortunately, the reactions underneath the post aren't fooled by the claim and know that three talented singers brought their A-game in the animated flick. Just like Huntr/x didn't let threats stand in their way, neither did one of Huntr/x's singers. REI AMI, who played the singing voice of Huntr/x rapper Zoey. She dropped a blunt response to the claim, stating: EJAE, AUDREY, NUNA AND I ARE NOT AI — ARE U BITCHES DUMB?! Ejae Kim, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami are certainly not AI. They are chart-topping Korean-American singers and songwriters. Even Ejae, who's the singing voice of Rumi, helped write the songs for KPop's 'Golden,' 'How It's Done,' and 'Your Idol,' which deserve a round of applause and all of the records they broke. That's not all Rei Ami had to say on the matter. The South Korean native also had a funny response to the accusations that she's AI: Y'all, I just found out I've been AI for 30 years. OMG, help. I'm just a code. Oopsie, oh noooooooooo, me so sad. Rei Ami doesn't have to prove anything to anyone that she's a real person. But if you're going to, you might as well deliver a tongue-in-cheek tweet that makes light of the absurdity of the situation. With KPop Demon Hunters already drawing attention with its wild Netflix records, there's been a lot of chatter about it, and sadly, that also includes bad rumors. Superb musical talent should never be questioned, and Rei Ami's cheeky comeback turns that baseless criticism into a moment of humor and power, just like Huntr/x would handle it. Everybody's rightfully obsessed with Sony's KPop Demon Hunters on Netflix. The movie's already making history as the iconic single "Golden" from the movie has reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100, but not without a bit of controversy. So, KPop Demon Hunters is voiced by a star-studded, all-Korean cast with a visual style and music that pays homage to popular Korean music, anime, and culture. It's dope because it's like one long, action-packed music video. In the animated film, three present-day demon hunters are tasked with saving the world from an evil demon king — Rumi (Arden Cho), Mira (May Hong), and Zoey (Ji-young Yoo). The best part is that they're not just demon hunters but also the super famous K-pop girl group Huntr/x. The singing voices of the animated characters are... ...K-pop singer-songwriter and record producer Ejae for Rumi... ...Korean-American R&B singer and rapper Audrey Nuna for Mira... ...and actor, singer-songwriter, and rapper Rei Ami for Zoey. The movie features several songs that have become instant hits with fans, but the song "Golden" which plays important part in the movie has crossed over into world as chart-topping hit making the virtual girl group HUNTR/X one of the first girl groups to hit #1 since Destiny's Child. It is the second track from an animated film to occupy the top of the Hot 100 this decade since "We Don't Talk About Bruno" from Disney's Encanto. Other tracks from animated characters have charted before, including Alvin and the Chipmunks' "The Chipmunk Song" or the Archies' "Sugar, Sugar," and "Nobody Like U" from Pixar's Turning Red boy band 4*TOWN. The difference between these past groups is that they didn't have to defend themselves against "artificial intelligence" accusations. A viral tweet with over 12 million views said, "Y'all realize this is one step toward AI completely taking over the music industry as well right?" The tweet triggered a debate over whether or not the performance of "Golden" was AI-generated, prompting a response from one of the real-life artists behind the song. On Aug. 12, Rei Ami shared an X post, writing, "EJAE, AUDREY NUNA AND I ARE NOT AI — ARE U BITCHES DUMB?!" Like her character Zoey with the shin-kal knives, she responded one more time against the accusations, sarcastically writing, "Yall I just found out I've been AI for 30 years omg help I'm just a code oopsie oh noooooooooo me so sad." Thanks to fans, Kpop Demon Hunters has become Netflix's second most-streamed movie ever and gave both Huntr/x and the fictional boyband Saja Boys chart-topping songs.
