Colin Kaepernick marriage bombshell revealed as wife of forgotten NFL quarterback speaks out
Kaepernick and his wife, TV personality Nessa Diab, have been linked for a decade and welcomed a child in 2022.
And Diab has now told TMZ that the couple has been married 'for years.'
The revelation comes after Diab posted a video to Instagram last month clarifying her relationship with the athlete, who hasn't appeared in the NFL since the 2016 season following his police brutality protests during the national anthem.
'For all the publications out there, do some research,' Diab said in the clip. 'I'm not Colin's girlfriend or roommate or whatever - I'm his wife.'
Diab also referred to Kaepernick as her 'husband' in the video, in which she discussed how he was 'wrongfully punished' by the NFL for his protests.

While the couple had not previously confirmed their marriage publicly, they haven't been shy about showcasing their relationship - as they attended the Met Gala together in May.
In 2022, Nessa and Colin revealed on Instagram that they had welcomed a baby.
'I thought long and hard about sharing our life changing news today. I decided to do so because today is the first day in a few weeks where I stepped out for work with a new life title - MOM!,' Diab wrote on Instagram.
'Colin and I welcomed our amazing baby to the world a few weeks ago and we are over the moon with our growing family.'
Kaepernick led the 49ers to the Super Bowl in 2013 and started 58 games for San Francisco after they drafted him in the second round of the 2011 Draft.
But his career took a major turn beginning in August 2016, when he began kneeling during the national anthem to protest racial injustice.
He started 11 games for San Francisco the following season but opted out of his contract afterwards, with his release expected otherwise following a down year for the franchise.
From there, Kaepernick did not land with any other teams and later accused the league of colluding against him in a grievance.
He and former teammate Eric Reid, who participated in protests with him, reached a settlement with the league in 2019.
