Sydney Sweeney's limited-edition soap made with her actual bathwater goes live online, sells out instantly

Sydney Sweeney took the obsession of her fans to the next level when she launched a bar of soap made with her actual bathwater. Named Sydney's Bathwater Bliss , the product is a cheeky collaboration with men's grooming brand Dr. Squatch , and caused a stir online. Bars of soap made with the Hollywood heartthrob's actual bathwater went on sale Friday and immediately sold out, reports NBC NewYork. All 5,000 bars of 'Sydney's Bathwater Bliss' soap, priced at $8 each, sold out almost instantly after going live online. Made with pine bark extract, exfoliating sand, and a few drops of the water Sydney Sweeney bathed in, the product was released at 12 p.m. ET and marked as sold out within seconds. Fans flooded social media with reports of website crashes and checkout queues stretching up to 250 minutes. Others prospective buyers/bathers claimed the soap was never there to be had. "Nah, it was there," the Dr. Squatch account responded to one commenter. "People just bought it in .0001 seconds." Bars of the soap were listed for sale on eBay for over $200 shortly after the sale. At the NYC premiere of her forthcoming movie, 'Echo Valley,' the actress responded to a reporter who stated that her business endeavor encourages men to 'take showers.' She said, 'I mean, honestly though.' Live Events 'I think that it's more fun to see everybody else talk about it,' Sweeney added when asked what she thought about fan's mixed reactions to the stunt. She admitted that it was in fact her idea to use the left over suds from a previous campaign with Dr. Squatch and that she 'pitched' the idea of a bar of soap with a 'splash' of her bath water. The idea for the product emerged after Sydney Sweeney appeared in a 2024 Dr. Squatch body wash promotion, where she was seen soaking in a tub—a moment that captivated many of her fans. Now, the Emmy-nominated Euphoria star has teamed up once again with the men's personal care brand, this time to launch a new product she personally helped create. The scent of the medium-grit soap -- in a nod to Sweeney's Pacific Northwest roots -- combines pine, Douglas fir and earthy moss. Sweeney in last week's press release said her new product is 'weird in the best way.' The 27-year-old was asked about it Wednesday at the New York premiere of her new movie "Echo Valley," telling E! News she pitched the idea. But she wouldn't say much else about the soap just days before it went on sale -- and then sold out. Top Bollywood Openers Of 2025: Housefull 5 takes the 3rd spot with Rs 22 crore net; Chhaava and Sikandar claim first 2 positions

The Bollywood box office in 2025 has been a mixed bag, with some films putting up record-breaking numbers while the others are struggling. Housefull 5 has taken a good start at the Indian box office of Rs 22 crore and it is on course for a pretty looking Rs 85 crore weekend. Let's dive into the top five Bollywood openers of 2025. The year started with a bang, with Chhaava leading the charge. Starring Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna, this historical drama smashed records with a whopping Rs 29.50 crore net on its opening day. Released on February 14, the film's gripping tale of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj struck a chord, especially in Maharashtra. It went on to do all time blockbuster level business. Next up is Sikandar, Salman Khan's Eid 2025 action drama. Directed by AR Murugadoss, it raked in an estimated Rs 25 crore net on day one. The movie could not live up to its high-set expectations and crumpled after the holiday season, thus sealing a sorry fate. Housefull 5, led by Akshay Kumar, has now claimed the third spot. The comic caper has opened to Rs 22 crore net. Early advance bookings suggested it might struggle to cross Rs 20 crore, but strong spot bookings pushed it past that mark with ease. The weekend advance bookings are looking strong and it is now to be seen how the movie sustains over the weekdays. Raid 2, starring Ajay Devgn, has dropped to the fourth spot. Released on May 1, this crime thriller opened to Rs 19 crore net. The sequel to the 2018 hit benefited from the May Day holiday on the opening day. However, it held well over the course of the next few weeks to emerge a bonafied hit. Rounding out the top five is Sky Force, with an opening day number of Rs 13.75 crore net.
