The video shows a man in a Mike Trout jersey being sucker-punched by another individual in a black shirt (per TMZ). As the fan slumped backward in his seat, a second man approached and delivered a kick directly to his head. At one point, the victim appeared motionless while a woman tried to shield him, but another punch followed.
According to Anaheim Police Department spokesperson Sgt. Shane Carringer, the fight 'appears to have started over the stealing of a hat.' Officers arrested two men in their mid-20s, one facing a felony assault charge and the other booked for misdemeanor assault. Authorities have not released their names.
The victim declined to be taken to the hospital at the time, and it remains unclear if he sought treatment later.
