Question about life drives singer to tears
SINGER Hafiz Suip could not hold back his tears when asked by fans whether he was happy with his current life, Berita Harian reported.
The 35-year-old cried when the question was asked in a video sharing titled Episode 1 Behind Me – Hafiz Suip on Instagram on July 19.
'I am grateful for His blessings. I am happy and trying to make peace with life.
'I don't want to play the blame game; that's what will complicate things. So, when you have acceptance, you will find happiness,' he said while wiping away tears.
On Friday, Hafiz uploaded a photo accompanied by the date 1.11.2025, signalling that there will be a special performance or concert.
In the same video post, Hafiz, a two-time Anugerah Juara Lagu winner, said he has not put an end to his singing career.
'This is all that I have. With the support of my fans, I will still be in this industry,' he said.
He also admitted that being away from his children, as well as the negative comments from the public, was the saddest time of his life.
Earlier this year, Hafiz admitted that his nine-year marriage with Nureffy Jasreel Abdullah became rocky.
The couple are said to no longer live together and are in the process of divorce.
> The Negri Sembilan Wildlife and National Parks Department is monitoring two locations in Kuala Pilah and Jelebu after a tapir was captured on video, Sinar Harian reported.
Its director Faizal Izham Pikri said there were no forest reserves near the two locations, but the presence of bushland gave the tapir room to move.
He said regular monitoring was carried out to ensure the safety of residents and wildlife.
On Friday, two separate photos and videos of wild tapirs shared by social media users went viral.
So far, the department has received six complaints regarding tapirs roaming around and damaging crops in the area, he said.

Chinese actor Zhang Yiyang executed by firing squad after murdering underage girlfriend
Chinese singer-actor Zhang Yiyang was executed by firing squad on Dec 18, 2024, after being convicted of the murder of his 16-year-old girlfriend. He was 33 at the time of his death. According to a recently released court document from the Intermediate People's Court of Xianyang City in Shaanxi province, Zhang lured the victim – who was 15 when they started dating – into a forest in Xingping city on Feb 26, 2022. When she expressed her intention to end the relationship, a heated argument broke out, during which Zhang fatally stabbed her in the neck. Following the attack, Zhang returned home to change his clothes and disposed of both the bloodied garments and the victim's mobile phone by throwing them into a river. He then checked into a hotel, where he attempted to take his own life but was discovered by a staff member who alerted the police. The court described Zhang's actions as extremely violent and socially harmful. His pattern of emotional manipulation, including repeated threats of suicide to control the victim, further influenced the court's decision to uphold his death sentence after a failed appeal. The case sent shockwaves across mainland China. It marks the first time a celebrity in the country was legally executed for a criminal offense. In the wake of the news, netizens slammed the posthumous release of Zhang's film Jie You Yin Sheng Guan, which premiered in March this year. Users on Douban (a Chinese online database for film, books, music and more), also bombarded the film's page with one-star ratings, condemning its release given that its lead actor had been executed for the murder of an underage girl. Kevin Feige Spills Tea On Next 7 Years Of Marvel Movies; Anne Hathaway Shares First Look At 'The Devil Wears Prada 2'
Huge news on massive upcoming movies just dropped, and it's already making major waves! From the streets of New York City to the grand multiverse – here's what you need to know about two surefire blockbusters currently in development! Anne Hathaway Shares BTS Pix Of 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' After almost two decades of waiting, we're finally getting our first look at the much-awaited sequel to the beloved comedy/drama 'The Devil Wears Prada'. In these brief glimpses, not only do we get to see the lead star Anne Hathaway reprise her role as Andy Sachs, but they also clue us in on what to look out for. In her Instagram post, Hathaway can be seen posing right by a massive number '2' statue, rocking a patterned dress and a tan bucket hat. We can also see her wear this exact outfit in one of the early photos taken by BACKGRID, alongside a hanger bag that reads 'Runway', suggesting her return to the iconic fictional publication. 'The Princess Diaries' star also doubled down by posting an additional photo of her showcasing a pinstripe sleeveless vest with matching pants. We also see her strike a nostalgic pose while on the phone – many fans were quick to notice the resemblance and rightfully responded by creating memes about the iconic moment. For those who are not familiar with the plot, it centres on Andy, a budding journalist who accepts a position at a fashion magazine, but is ultimately controlled by her demanding editor, Meryl Streep's Miranda Priestly. The sequel will see the two actors reprise their roles, with the plot centring on Priestly struggling to stay afloat with the decline of traditional magazine publishing amidst the rise of its digital counterpart. She is also facing friction with people like Emily Blunt's Emily Charlton, Miranda's former assistant-turned-ultra-powerful exec for a luxury advertising company. Nostalgia be damned, as we will also be seeing an injection of fresh, new faces, such as Kenneth Branagh, who will be playing Miranda's husband. Unfortunately, however, we do not know more than that, as the cast remains tight-lipped about any more details outside of what 20th Century Studios said in its press release. We can expect the cast and crew to drip-feed us more information in the coming months, though, as we draw closer to its 1st May, 2026 release date. Kevin Feige's 'Seven-Year Plan' Includes 'X-Men,' 'Blade' & Other Future Titles To say this is a big month for Marvel would be a gross understatement. The highly anticipated summer blockbuster 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' is just a few days away from its theatrical release — and to say it is the most important movie since 'Avengers: Endgame' (and will affect the MCU as a whole) might be another understatement. Despite this, the entertainment company is already gearing up for what's next in the company's timeline. Earlier this week, Marvel boss Kevin Feige invited several big-name US-based news outlets to the Marvel headquarters for a sit-down conversation where they discussed the company's next step moving forward. At this private yet casual function, the Marvel president teased his 'seven-year plan' that will run all the way until 2032. In it, several familiar titles, such as 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' (Summer 2026), 'Avengers: Doomsday' (2026), and 'Avengers: Secret Wars' (2027), remain unchanged. However, Feige said that although there is still a plan, outside of the three aforementioned titles, nothing is set in stone for now. One of these is the possibility of the Mahershala Ali-led 'Blade' movie finally seeing the light of day, following several pushbacks and being left alone in development purgatory. 'You can start and have a good script and make it a great script through production, but we didn't feel confident we could do that on 'Blade'.' Feige reasoned when discussing the postponed film. Following that would be the X-Men title, which is rumoured to arrive after 'Secret Wars'. There, Feige mentioned that it will somewhat 'reset' the timeline after the whirlwind of events that transpired during the Multiverse Saga. Following that blockbuster, Feige said they will go back to working with a 'singular timeline'. However, he did not elaborate as to why Marvel will be moving forward with that plan – but we can speculate that it is to correct the course and focus in on the mutant storyline. As for 'X-Men' itself, he did not reveal more than what we already know, such as that Jake Schreier will be directing the film. He also did not share where X-Men will fit in on all this, pre- or post-timeline reset. With so much at stake as well as the timing, we can not easily write this off as mere coincidence. And as many Marvel movies have done before, the answer may lie in the upcoming 'Fantastic Four' movie. Source: E! News, Empire

PM Anwar commends cartoonist Zunar for resilience in art industry
SHAH ALAM: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim lauded cartoonist Zunar for his persistent efforts in revitalising Malaysia's art scene through politically charged works, despite facing numerous challenges. Speaking at the launch of *Melukis Dengan Hati: Biografi Perjalanan Seni 50 Tahun Karya Zunar*, Anwar acknowledged the depth of Zunar's critiques, which often carry significant political weight. 'An artist's sketches are the outpouring of the heart, driven by conviction. When a work is created freely and sincerely, the risks it carries are equally great,' Anwar said. He noted that while Zunar's art may not always align with official views, such expression is vital in a democratic society. Zunar, whose real name is Zulkiflee Anwar Haque, has long been known for his sharp political satire. Anwar urged the public to support the artist by purchasing his newly launched biography, as past works were often reproduced without permission. 'We should repay him by buying this book. For decades, he contributed during the reform era, yet people reprinted his works instead of buying them,' he added. The 230-page book traces Zunar's career, from early contributions in *Bambino* and *Gila-Gila* magazines to his work in *Berita Harian*, *Harakah*, and *MalaysiaKini*. The event was attended by Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, and Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari. - Bernama
