Julie Bowen on Coping With Teenage Chaos and How ‘Happy Gilmore' Launched Her Career
Both of my parents are strong characters and very different from each other. My father was and is more cautious, carefully assessing things before he does them. My mother was and is a 'leap first and then look' kind of a gal, which terrified me.

A DWTS Pro's Airport Fiasco Sends Fans Into a Frenzy: 'THIS IS GOLD'
A DWTS Pro's Airport Fiasco Sends Fans Into a Frenzy: 'THIS IS GOLD' originally appeared on Parade. From Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov to Emma Slater and Alan Bersten and beyond, Dancing With the Stars has quite a few fan-favorite couples, but husband-and-wife duo Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy are arguably the most hilarious of them all. If you didn't think so, Chmerkovskiy's latest TikTok video might just have you sold… Yesterday (August 10), the DWTS pro shared a TikTok video at the airport with his wife — fellow DWTS pro Johnson — going through security together. Although going through security at the airport is pretty standard, in the video, Johnson is seen getting evaluated by the TSA worker while Chmerkovskiy pans over to the screen. With a red square around her nether region, said screen shows that Johnson's crotch area is what needed further investigation. As if that whole airport fiasco wasn't funny enough, the caption is what sent fans into a frenzy, comprised of just two emojis: '💣 🐱' Needless to say, fans had a field day in the comment section. 'Okay Val, you win #1 caption,' one fan wrote, while another added, 'LMAO THE CAPTION??? 😭' A third exclaimed, "VAL I'M CACKLING," summing up the sentiment of a majority of viewers. Regardless of the setback, it is safe to say that both Chmerkovskiy and Johnson made it to their destination safely, with the latter posting an Instagram reel on the plane captioned, "OMG I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!! NYC ✈️ Paris," later in the evening. For all of the updates regarding their European travels, it is safe to say we will be keeping up with both parties on Instagram until further notice: @jennajohnson and @valentin. Flying With Delta? Crunchyroll Anime Is Coming to Your Flights
Crunchyroll and Delta Air Lines announced on Monday that they've partnered to offer anime as part of the airline's in-flight entertainment. The anime addition is set to arrive later this year, and Delta passengers will be able to stream content handpicked by Crunchyroll. SkyMiles members will receive an exclusive perk of a 24-hour free trial of the streaming service that can be used on the flight or after touching down. Crunchyroll will hit more than 169,000 seatback screens on Delta's aircraft, and this marks the first time the streamer has inked a deal with an airline. Delta currently offers a selection of streaming content from Paramount Plus, DirecTV and Spotify. While we don't know whether titles like Dan Da Dan, The Apothecary Diaries or Demon Slayer are guaranteed to be on flights, Crunchyroll said, "more details about what travelers can look forward to on their next flight will be shared closer to departure later this year." If you have SkyMiles, you'll be able to access the Crunchyroll app via your personal devices if you use Delta Sync Wi-Fi before and after traveling. Prince Harry, Meghan Markle extend Netflix deal, announce upcoming projects
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, are extending their partnership with Netflix, which was first launched in 2020. Netflix announced in a press release Monday that the Sussexes' media company, Archewell Productions, has "extended its creative partnership with Netflix, with a multi-year, first look deal for its film and television projects." In a statement shared in the press release, Meghan said she and Harry are "proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As ever brand." "My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision," she added. Harry and Meghan signed their streaming deal with Netflix in September 2020 to produce scripted series, documentaries and children's specials for Netflix. Since then, they've released several projects. In 2022, they released their docuseries "Harry & Meghan," which details their journey from falling in love to stepping away from their senior royal roles. The docuseries has garnered a total of 23.4 million views on Netflix since its debut and is the streaming platform's most popular docuseries of all time, according to a press release. The following year, they released "Heart of Invictus," which follows a group of competitors as they train for the 2022 Invictus Games, a sporting event founded by Prince Harry for wounded service members. They also released "Live to Lead," a docuseries which highlighted individuals who have had a significant impact on the world, including Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Greta Thunberg and Jacinda Ardern. In 2024, they came out with "Polo," a docuseries that explores the world of polo and the lives of polo players off the field, and earlier this year, they released the lifestyle series "With Love, Meghan." Upcoming projects that will be released by Archewell Productions include season 2 of "With Love, Meghan," which will arrive later this month, and a book-to-film adaptation of Carley Fortune's "Meet Me at the Lake," which was first announced in 2023. Season one of "With Love, Meghan" premiered in March and features Meghan's love for cooking, gardening and hosting. Season 2 was announced just three days after the series' debut. Meghan also launched the food brand As Ever in March and announced at the time that Netflix would be partnering with her on the brand. In its press release Monday, Netflix said the As Ever brand "will continue expanding into new product categories with new items continuing to be released throughout the remainder of the year." In addition to the second season of "With Love, Meghan," the streamer said the Duchess of Sussex will release a Netflix holiday special in December titled "With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration." The Sussexes are also set to produce "Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within," a documentary short from Campfire Studios in Association with Wontanara Productions and Archewell Productions. A logline for the documentary states, "In the heart of Uganda's Masaka region, where the shadows of the HIV/AIDS crisis linger, a small orphanage becomes a beacon of hope. 'Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within' goes beyond the viral videos to reveal a vibrant, one-of-a-kind community where orphaned children transform hardship into joy, dancing their way toward healing, belonging, and the promise of a brighter future." The documentary, directed by David Vieira Lopez and Moses Bwayo, is slated for release later this year.
