
Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council Discusses Strengthening Ties with U.S.

Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council Chairman, Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, met with the U.S. Ambassador to Yemen, Steven Fagin, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation across various fields.
According to the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), both sides reviewed the latest developments in Yemen and exchanged views on issues of mutual concern, particularly the threat posed by the Houthi militia and its grave human rights violations.
Al-Alimi praised the strong bilateral relations between Yemen and US, highlighting U.S. humanitarian and developmental interventions.
He also expressed his aspiration for a broader partnership to address challenges and deter destabilizing threats to Yemen and the wider region.

Lavrov Calls for Direct Dialogue Btw India, Pakistan to Build Mutual Trust
Nada Mustafa Russian Foreign Minister (FM) Sergey Lavrov emphasized on Tuesday the necessity of holding direct dialogue between Pakistan and India to foster mutual trust between the two nations. According to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lavrov discussed bilateral cooperation and regional and international security issues during his meeting with Tariq Fatemi, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan. The talks were reported by the Russian news agency TASS. Both sides agreed on the importance of uniting efforts to combat terrorism within international frameworks, particularly under the auspices of the United Nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated since the terrorist attack on April 22 in the tourist town of Pahalgam, located in the Indian-administered part of Kashmir, which left 26 people dead. Algeria, Rwanda Sign Multiple Cooperation Agreements During Kagame's Official Visit
Nada Mustafa Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune held talks with his Rwandan counterpart, Paul Kagame, who is currently on an official visit to Algeria, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two nations. According to the Algerian News Agency, the two presidents witnessed the signing of several agreements and memorandum of understanding covering a wide range of cooperation sectors. These include telecommunications, entrepreneurship and innovation, digital communication, investment promotion, the pharmaceutical industry, vocational training, and media collaboration. Additional agreements were signed in the fields of higher education and scientific research, innovation technology development, air transport services, judicial and police cooperation, as well as agriculture and livestock production. Sisi, EU Council Chief Discuss Strategic Partnership, Gaza Crisis over Phone
Nada Mustafa President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call today, on Tuesday, from António Costa, President of European Council. Mohamed El-Shennawy, Official Presidential Spokesperson stated that the call emphasized the importance of continued coordination between Egypt and European Union (EU) on various regional and international issues. The two sides also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and intensify efforts to implement all pillars of the comprehensive strategic partnership, in order to further enhance bilateral relations in political, economic, cultural, and scientific fields. El-Shennawy further noted that the call addressed the latest developments on key regional issues, particularly the situation in the Gaza Strip.
