
Sridevi Teases Janhvi Kapoor For Her Hindi, Says 'I Bully Her' In Old Video
Janvhi Kapoor is the daughter of producer Boney Kapoor and late actress Sridevi. She also has a sister, Khushi Kapoor.
Before Janhvi Kapoor made her acting debut, she had once attended a press conference in 2012 with her late mother, actress Sridevi. During the event, Janhvi was asked to speak in Hindi by one of the journalists, when she not on struggled to speak in the language but also got teased by her mother.
In a video from the event that has now resurfaced on social media, Janhvi is seen fumbling while speaking in Hindi. 'Hindi mein? I don't… Ji mujhe abhi pata nahi main abhi school mein padhai karaai hu aur (I don't really know. I am currently a school student," she said.
Sridevi then took the mic from her hand and jokingly said, 'Please don't let her talk in Hindi because I keep bullying her". She then even mimicked Janhvi's way of speaking in Hindi and left everyone go ROFL. Watch the video here:

For the unversed, Janvhi Kapoor is the daughter of producer Boney Kapoor and late actress Sridevi. She also has a sister, Khushi Kapoor.
Sridevi passed away in 2018, months before Janhvi was supposed to make her acting debut with the movie Dhadak. Previously, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Janhvi opened up about being compared to her mother when she said, 'I think it's just genetics and biology. I am her daughter so zaahir hai ki main unki tarah hi dikhungi (obviously I would look like her). But my mum holds such a strong space in people's hearts and had a very personal connect. I hope I can please her fans also in some way, in a bid to show gratitude for all the love she got. I hope I'm given an opportunity to create my own identity. I don't think anyone can be like her. What she had to offer to films and to people's lives was greater than what any artist could."
On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor will soon be seen in Param Sundari with Sidharth Malhotra. She also has Ram Charan's RC16 and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with Varun Dhawan in her pipeline.
