Yesterday (Monday, 12th May), Marvel actor Simu Liu got engaged to his long-time partner, Allison Hsu, a marketing director at Interscope Records. The pair announced their engagement through their respective Instagram accounts, showcasing their dream destination proposal in Paris.
The couple has been together since November 2020, when Allison had hard-launched their relationship on Instagram. Ever since, they've been inseparable. The newly engaged are all smiles in the city of Paris over the week, with Allison showcasing her oval-cut diamond ring on the balcony overlooking the Eiffel Tower. She captioned her post with, 'Us forever'.
Meanwhile, the actor shared a picturesque Instagram photo of Allison in his arms, where his fiancée perfectly showcases her ring. Many fans and celebrities alike have flooded the comments section. Notable stars such as Florence Pugh, Laufey, John Legend and the Barbie account shared their well wishes. Florence Pugh commented, 'AHHHHHHH HOW AMAZING! Sending love to you both'. LONDON: English pop star Jessie J has revealed she has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer and will undergo surgery following her performance at Capital's Summertime Ball in London next weekend. The 37-year-old singer shared the news in an emotional Instagram video on Wednesday, with a caption that read: "I was diagnosed with early breast cancer. Cancer sucks in any form, but I'm holding onto the word 'early.'" Known for her candid humour, the artiste added, "It's a very dramatic way to get a boob job. I'm going to disappear for a bit after Summertime Ball to have my surgery, and I'll come back with massive (expletive) and more music." The Summertime Ball, a major annual music festival, is set to take place at Wembley Stadium on June 15. Jessie stated she felt it was important to speak openly about her diagnosis.
