Kylie Jenner ‘taking care' of funeral expenses for late hairstylist Jesus Guerrero after his sudden death
Kylie Jenner is reportedly covering the cost of her late hairstylist and friend Jesus Guerrero's funeral after he died at the age of 34 last week.
Guerro — whose list of clients also included Katy Perry, Dua Lipa, Jessica Alba, Demi Moore, and Jennifer Lopez — was confirmed dead on Saturday in a GoFundMe page started by his sister Gris Guerrero.
His cause of death has not yet been revealed.
Citing sources, People reports that Guerrero's sudden death was a 'shock' to Jenner, 27, who was just in Paris with him for Haute Couture Week at the end of January.
'Jesus' death hit her hard. She is shocked and very upset,' one insider reportedly told the outlet. 'Still, she's doing everything she can to be supportive and aid his family, including financially.
'As upset as she feels, she knows it's so much worse for his family. She doesn't want them to stress about money,' the source continued. 'She's taking care of expenses, including those associated with his funeral.'
In the GoFundMe page announcement, which has already raised $96,000, Guerrero's sister wrote: 'It is with a heavy heart that we let the world know that Jesus Guerrero has gone to heaven. He is a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and so much more.
'Born and raised in Houston, TX to immigrant parents, Jesus learned how to work hard and dreamt of taking his skills to the top.'
Jenner was noticeably absent from the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday after having accompanied her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet to the BAFTAs in London and the Berlin Film Festival screening of A Complete Unknown last week.
She has yet to make a public statement on Guerrero's death. The Independent has contacted her representatives for a comment.
While Guerrero primarily collaborated with Jenner, her famous siblings have also paid tribute to the hairstylist. Kim Kardashian wrote on her Instagram Story on Monday: 'Our glam fam means the world to us. We work together, vacation, and celebrate our lives together!
'Our great respect for the art of hair and make up has led us to meeting some of the kindest souls and made some of our bestest friends. So when one of our glam family members passes away all of our souls are crushed. My heart breaks for Kylie and everyone who loved Jesus the way we all did.
'I'm praying for his family, his loved ones, and the whole beauty community who feels this deep loss of one of the most talented and kindest to ever do it. Rest in peace @jesushair,' she wrote next to a photo of her and Guerrero.
Khloe Kardashian chimed in to add: 'I couldn't find the words this weekend, but this is exactly how we all feel. We become a family with our glam teams and we share so much of our lives with them. We are also intertwined and in love with one another. This is such an incredible deep loss.'

Netflix's Adolescence is now second biggest English-language show on streaming platform
Netflix's Adolescence has hit a huge new milestone, surpassing Stranger Things, as the second most watched English-language TV series, but which show holds the top spot? Netflix's Adolescence has officially became the streamer's second most-watched English-language TV series, surpassing Stranger Things, which previously held the crime drama mini-series, co-created and starring Stephen Graham, arrived on the streaming platform on March 13 and recently reached a huge milestone of 141.2M total views, putting it above the fourth season of Stranger Things, which initially held the title at 140.7M views. It follows the dramatic aftermath of a 13-year-old boy Jamie, portrayed by Owen Cooper, who is arrested for murdering a classmate. Each episode is remarkably shot in one take. In first place is the debut season of the platform's Addams Family spin-off, Wednesday, starring Jenna Ortega, which racked in a jaw dropping 252.1M total views within its first 91 days. In comparison, season one of the streamer's popular Korean psychological thriller Squid Game is Netflix's most watched non-English language TV series, bringing in a whopping 265.2M views in its first three months. Adolescence, which is likely to land several Emmy nominations next month, recently swept at the 2025 Gotham TV Awards. It was awarded the prize for Breakthrough Limited Series, as well as two acting awards for Graham and young newcomer Owen Cooper for Outstanding Lead Performance in a Limited Series and Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Limited Series, respectively. In his acceptance speech, Graham said: 'We're overwhelmed for you to embrace us the way you have. "This was a small colloquial piece that was made with love, respect, humility and dignity, and we treated the subject with a lot of passion, but a lot of care.' Speaking to The Independent in March about the struggles of shooting each episode in one go, director Philip Barantini admitted: 'It was quite difficult, but it was fun as well. It was meticulously planned. '[Tech rehearsals] would be an opportunity for the sound team to put the booms where they needed to be. "And, we had all the support and the runners and ADs all dressed in police uniforms in the first episode and teachers in the second episode so they could be on camera and cueing things. 'It was technically challenging, but a huge collaboration.' It comes after 15-year-old Owen from Cheshire in England recently appeared on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and boldly revealed "one thing he hates about America". Host Jimmy had asked the teenager what he didn't like about America as Owen spent some time there promoting the Netflix drama which is now in talks for a second series. The young actor replied: "One thing I hate about America - the chocolate and the sweets, everything is just terrible. It's just Cheetos and all that nonsense. Honestly, I hate it." Whilst slating US confectionery, he even brought out some classic British snacks to prove his point that they are better. Owen lifted up a basket of snacks to reveal his favourite treats to Jimmy, which included the classic Maltesers. He asked the host: "Have you ever had a Malteser? Right - I'll bring the whole basket up. So this is what I brought [Monster Munch, Maltesers and Fruit Pastilles]"

Richard Simmons' palatial mansion hits the market for eye-watering sum nearly a year after his death at age 76
The palatial Hollywood Hills mansion owned by the late Richard Simmons is now on the market for nearly $7,000,000. The gated, colonial-style home located above the Sunset Strip has been listed for $6,999,999. Simmons died at the home last year, just one day after celebrating his 76th birthday. The reclusive fitness guru resided at the home with his devoted friend and house manager, Teresa Reveles, and abruptly stopped making public appearances in 2014, sparking concern from fans. According to the home's listing, which is being held by John A. Lucy of Keller Williams Hollywood Hills, the property was built in 1937 and boasts an array of amenities, including a maid's suite, pool, pool house, updated kitchen, music room, and terraced side yard. Simmons was found in his home by his longtime housekeeper on July 13, 2024 - just one day after celebrating his 76th birthday. A cause of death was revealed back in August, with the Los Angeles Coroner's office informing Simmons' brother Lenny that the death had been 'accidental due to complications from recent falls and heart disease as a contributing factor.' 'The toxicology report was negative other than medication Richard had been prescribed,' family spokesperson Tom Estey told People. 'The Family wishes to thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support during this time of great loss.' Lenny had previously told People that he didn't want 'people to be sad about my brother,' but rather to 'remember him for the genuine joy and love he brought to people's lives.' 'He truly cared about people. He called, wrote and emailed thousands of people throughout his career to offer help,' Lenny said. Simmons had fallen in the bathroom of his home on Friday, July 12 - which marked his 76th birthday - and Reveles had attempted to persuade him to seek immediate medical help, but he declined because it was his birthday, TMZ previously reported. Simmons said he didn't want to go anywhere, informing her that he might go on July 13. Reveles helped him safely get back to his bedroom, where she found him unresponsive the following morning on the floor at around 10 a.m., according to the outlet. He was later pronounced dead on the scene. 'When I saw him, he looked peaceful,' she told People last July of finding Simmons. She noted his hands were balled into fists, prompting her to believe he died of a heart attack. 'That's why I know it was a heart attack. I had a heart attack a few years ago, and my hands did the same.' Simmons was a legendary fitness guru who grew up in the French quarter of New Orleans before settling in California. He weighed 268 pounds when he graduated from high school, his website said. His own story of struggling with weight loss, where he tried everything from fad diets to laxatives before settling on exercise and better lifestyle choices, inspired millions to do the same. Simmons became a master of many media forms, sharing his hard-won weight-loss tips as host of the Emmy-winning daytime 'Richard Simmons Show' and author of best-selling books and the diet plan Deal-A-Meal. He also opened exercise studios and starred in exercise videos, including the wildly successful 'Sweatin' to the Oldies' line, which became a cultural phenomenon. Simmons' daytime show was seen on 200 stations in America, as well as in Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Japan and South America. His first book, 'Never Say Diet', was a smash best-seller. He was known to counsel the severely obese, including Rosalie Bradford, who held records for being the world's heaviest woman, and Michael Hebranko, who credited Simmons for helping him lose 700 pounds. After winning a legion of fans with his infectious enthusiasm and positivity, Simmons stepped away from the limelight in 2014. TMZ founder Harvey Levin later said the fitness icon doesn't spend all his time at his home. 'We found out he likes going to the beach, he'll go shopping, he'll just go out and get air,' he told Good Day in 2022. In 2022, Simmons' spokesperson Tom Estey provided a statement to the New York Post saying that he was 'happy, healthy and living the life he has chosen to live.'

The Wire actor Tray Chaney shares update after son is carried away by tornado
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video The Wire actor Tray Chaney has shared an emotional update on his 19-year-old son Malachi, who was critically injured after being thrown nearly 300 feet by a tornado that destroyed their home in Georgia last week. The tornado, which hit Locust Grove near Atlanta on May 29, left a trail of devastation. Chaney – best known for playing Poot on the HBO drama – was asleep when the EF-2 storm tore through his neighborhood. He described hearing a sound 'like a train was coming' before his entire room was ripped apart. 'I just remember turning to my right and my walls, and my TVs and my dressers and my bed turned upside down and I levitated in the air,' Chaney said in a new interview with TMZ. 'I just remember covering [my face with my arms], yelling my son's name out.' Chaney was knocked unconscious as the house collapsed around him. When he awoke, he was buried in debris and lying in the mud, unsure where his son had been carried. Neighbours helped pull him from the wreckage, but Malachi was nowhere to be seen. Eventually, Malachi was discovered in nearby woods, having been hurled by the tornado's vortex. Despite being flung the length of a football field, he survived. But the injuries were severe: every bone in his face fractured, broken ribs, and cuts covering his upper body. Remarkably, his legs were largely unharmed. After six days in intensive care, Chaney confirmed Malachi is now in stable condition and has been moved to a less critical unit. 'But it's going to be a long journey and a long road to recovery. We're not out of the hospital,' he said. The tornado struck just days before Malachi's birthday on June 1. Though the celebration was subdued, Chaney managed to surprise his son with a special video message from NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal, who wished him a happy birthday. 'The tough part is watching him be stable and respond the best way he can,' Chaney said. 'And every single day, he doesn't know what happened.' More Trending Chaney's wife, Ayesha, had not been home during the storm but returned soon after. The family has since been staying with friends and in temporary housing. 'We went to war with a tornado and came out on top,' Chaney said. 'Everybody in that house could have been killed.' He continued: 'I don't know what's … coming, and I'm not trying to figure it out.' The family has launched a GoFundMe to help rebuild. At time of writing, the fund has raised $99,370 (£77,500). Got a story?
