He reiterated Jordan's firm rejection of the forced displacement of Palestinians in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, noting that His Majesty has repeatedly, clearly and firmly rejected any proposal to resolve the Palestinian issue at the expense of Jordan's constants and higher national interest. Born in 1937, Ibrahim was widely regarded as one of Egypt's foremost modernist writers.
