Wireless fans say it's 'not for weak' as 'packed like sardines' reality shown

Daily Mirror13-07-2025
Wireless Festival returned for its 20th year with Canadian rapper Drake headlining all three days of the event at Finsbury Park, London, but one festival-goer has shared the claustrophobic reality
A Wireless festival-goer has declared the event 'isn't for the weak' after footage shows him in a tightly packed crowd and really struggling to move. The popular festival returned for the 20th year, taking over Finsbury Park in London.
For the first time, Wireless had one artist performing three set lists across the three days, seeing Canadian rapper Drake take to the stage on Friday, July 11, Saturday, July 12 and the final day of the hip hop festival, Sunday, July 13. The artist has been accompanied by an eclectic mix of special guests including Vanessa Carlton, Yeat, Central Cee and more.

More than 15,000 people are said to descend on London over the course of the three day weekend to catch artists including Summer Walker, Leon Thomas, kwn, Sailorr, Boy Better Know, BigXthaPlug and many more.

Festivals are known for being busy, bustling places with a large turnout of people keen to enjoy live music and the laidback atmosphere so commonly associated with such events.
One festival-goer has offered a 'nightmare' insight into their experience in the crowd, though - and it's not for the faint of heart.
In the claustrophobic clip, which was shared to TikTok, the Wireless fan can be seen standing in the crowd with other festival-goers closely packed around him.

He doesn't appear to have much room to move, as he extends one arm to record the moment while his other appears to be pinned to his side by his co-attendees. Fellow ticket holders also look as though they can't move, as the crowd sways and throbs as one.
Over the top of the footage, he penned: 'POV: you survived eight hours on your feet in 30°C heat, packed like sardines, getting shoved around whilst holding your bladder in'.

In the caption, he added: 'Wireless ain't for the weak'.
In the comments section, people shared their thoughts with the general consensus being that of dread over being in similar circumstances.
One person said: 'The heat, the BO, everyone's sweat on me, yeah hell NO' while another simply declared: 'Couldn't pay me to go'.

A third said: 'This is an actual nightmare, you'll never catch me in these places'. Someone else commented: 'Personal hell [crying laughing emoji] sat at home and saved all the videos so I was basically there lmao'.
Another shared: 'I no longer feel jealous that I wasn't there'.
Echoing such sentiments, another person said: 'This is my worst nightmare. I'd have to leave due to being over stimulated and wanting to fight everyone'.

One Wireless attendee shared: 'I literally felt like I was gonna pass out at one point, I had to move out of the crowd'.

And another festival-goer pondered: '[I don't know] how you guys did this, I was sat under a tree for half the day and still fought for my life'.
To which, the original poster replied: 'I don't even know how I [filmed] it, Wireless taught [me] resilience and strength'.
Another added: 'Like this is the part they don't be showing cos festivals are not for the weak'.
Wireless festival shared advice regarding the heat ahead of the festival. They said: "Stay hydrated. Wear suitable clothing for the hot weather - hat, sunglasses. Wear sunscreen - bottles of sunscreen up to 200ml are permitted. Sunscreen will also be available at medical and info points. Sealed water and soft drinks up to 500ml are permitted, one per person. Bring an empty plastic refillable bottle or coffee cup. Waterpoints will be available around the site. Metal bottles are not permitted into the festival."
Wireless Festival has been approached for a comment.

Love Islanders spotted on romantic date after weeks of rumours – despite not even meeting in the famous villa

Just this week, eagle-eyed fans spotted a clue that the pair could be more than friends Hard launch? The pair weren't on the same series of the show, but certainly seem to have grown close after the recent series wrapped. Last month we revealed how Welsh Love Island stars Emily Moran, 24, and Ciaran Davies, 22, had been chatting to each other. Now, the Welsh Islanders have been sighted together, walking beside each other in town on a day out. They were spotted from behind, and eagled-eyed Love Island fans have noticed that Emily is wearing the same outfit that she was in a TikTok posted earlier that day. The brunette beauty could be seen in a black top and jeans while heading out with a black clutch bag - the same outfit she's spotted in while out with Ciaran. Just this week, eagle-eyed fans spotted a clue that the pair could be more than friends. They both posted a similar photo from the same bar in Cardiff - just one hour apart. The pair were both at Golf Fang in the city centre last night. Ciaran posted his picture - which features a bright pink Barbie style car - at around 9pm, and then Emily posted an almost identical picture at 10pm. 'Get them off my screen' rage Love Island fans as Megan and Conor's hideaway romp leaves devastated Emily in tears Discussing this, one fan wrote: "Definitely not a coincidence!" This one said: "I feel like this is a perfect pairing." A third said: "These two photos are such a giveaway!" While another added: "We know Ciaran loves his Welsh girls." Emily, who hails from Aberdare in Wales was dumped from the villa after Tommy Bradley brought back blonde bombshell Lucy from Casa Amor. While, Ciaran, who is also from Wales, was coupled up with Nicole Samuel in last year's series, with the pair parting ways a few months after the final. The Sun previously revealed that there was a spark between the pair, after they connected when Emily was brutally dumped from the villa. A source exclusively told us at the time: "Ciaran initially approached Emily when she left the show just to congratulate her and stuff on how she was and handled herself on the show towards the end, which got them to talking. "Both have been getting to know each other on a more romantic level and they're looking to see how things go." The source added how at the moment since coming out of the villa, Emily is "taking every opportunity she can" especially with brand deals. They noted that Ciaran "is absolutely fine" with her focusing on getting brand deals and making a name for herself "because that's what everyone does when they get out". The source continued: "Emily has no intention of moving back to Australia as of yet as she's focused on her work and recent brand deals here in the UK. "But maybe who's to say that something romantically might also sway her decision to stay in the UK. "Apparently she has something big on the horizon with some brand." 7 Fans noticed Emily posted a TikTok in the same outfit that day Credit: TikTok / emillymorann 7 Just this week, eagle-eyed fans spotted a clue that the pair could be more than friends when they posted the same photo Credit: instagram/@emilyxmorann 7 Emily and Tommy had a bumpy romance Credit: Shutterstock Editorial

But a few days earlier, the pair shared a video on their YouTube channel that would serve as their haunting swansong. Titled "VANCOUVER ISLAND | The Off-Road Version", the hour-long video shows them putting Toyota trucks through an "ultimate test" in the rough terrain. The video shows them camping out in the stunning Canadian scenery while testing their trucks on the rocky trail. Heartbroken fans in the comments section have paid tribute to the influencer couple. One user said: "I'm in absolute shock hearing that these two beautiful souls are no longer with us. "My condolences to not only their family and friends, but also viewers that appreciated them, their projects, and their adventures." Another commented: "We wished this episode would have lasted forever, as it meant we'd never have to truly say goodbye. "We didn't get the chance to meet you, but you gave more inspiration than you knew. "Hope you're on an amazing trail leading to an even better campsite. Rest easy to the coolest people we never met." Popular influencer couple killed in horror off-road crash in 'the beautiful mountains they loved so much' in Canada News of the couple's passing was shared on social media by friends and family - and was also confirmed by Kaslo Search and Rescue. Kaslo SAR manager Mark Jennings-Bates said rescuers were called to an off-road motor vehicle incident around 7:30pm local time on August 7. He said: "So it was on a forestry road, somewhere in the mountains, and quite a long ways north in the valley up towards [...] the village of Trout Lake. "Our teams were able to get to them efficiently. "It's a long journey, but they got there efficiently. So that was very, very helpful. "And of course that means that the helicopter pilot could also fly straight to the destination with confidence that he was going to find them." He added that one occupant of the vehicle was dead when they arrived at the scene, while the other later passed away in hospital. The precise cause of the crash remains unknown, but the working theory is that the vehicle lost control on rough terrain. Tourout's mother Colleen paid tribute in a heartwrenching Facebook post. She wrote: "With unimaginable heartache, the families of Matthew Peter Yeomans and Stacey Tourout would like to advise that we lost them both tragically succumbing to injuries in an offroad accident on Aug 7, 2025 in the beautiful mountains of British Columbia that they loved so much. "Please keep us and them in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this devastating end to an amazing Love Story. "They are together forever as we knew they would always be." 7 Tourout's mother Colleen paid tribute in a heartwrenching Facebook post 7 The precise cause of the crash remains unknown Credit: YouTube
