Ahaan Panday has been getting love from all corners ever since his debut film Saiyaara has released. The romantic drama has shattered all box office records.
Ahaan Panday may be just one film old, but the young actor is already winning over fans with his charm. The Saiyaara star was recently spotted in Mumbai, where his gesture towards fans has gone viral on social media.
In the video, shared by Filmygyan, we can see Ahaan Panday clicking selfies with fans. He was all smiles as he clicked photos and even interacted with them. The actor has been getting love from all corners ever since his debut film Saiyaara has released. The romantic drama has shattered all box office records. Many celebrities have praised the film.
Mohit Suri's take on Saiyaara:
Filmmaker Mohit Suri is currently basking in the success of his latest release, Saiyaara, featuring debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. Suri, at CNN-News18's Mumbai Townhall event, said that his upcoming film Saiyaara was written keeping newcomers in mind. He revealed that it was Yash Raj Films chairman Aditya Chopra who told him that the film would flop if it were made with 'established names".
'I really had put in a lot of my voice into the film," Suri shared. 'In this atmosphere where everyone was blowing up cars, I was making this love story with new people. I put in a lot of myself in writing the film, along with my assistant. I sent the script to YRF during the December holiday weekend and I chickened out. I thought, let me give him some solution—in the sense, provide some actors and known names who would back me and make this film. I so badly wanted to make this film," he explained.
Thanks to Aditya Chopra's faith, Mohit Suri stuck to his gut and cast fresh faces, ensuring Saiyaara remains true to its original essence. And the result? A film with a gross collection of over Rs 500 crore!
Varun Badola on Saiyaara:
In an interview with Nayandeep Rakshit on YouTube, Varun was quoted saying, 'People are saying that this film has proven that we don't need stars anymore. That's not true. Abhi tum Ahaan Panday ko utha ke Jawan mein daalo, Jawan flop ho jayegi. Shah Rukh ko Saiyaara mein daal do, Saiyaara flop ho jayegi. Shah Rukh will suddenly become too big for the film, and Ahaan will not have the personality to run Jawan."
'I saw the euphoria on Instagram. Log jo chudiyaan tod rahe hai, chaatiyaan peet rahe hai (People were breaking their bangles, beating themselves). I think the promotions team went a little overboard there, where people are going to see the film, putting IV drips. Those people must have been told to give content in some way; thank god, people didn't get their legs broken and went crawling to see the film," he added.
About Saiyaara:
The romantic drama follows Ahaan, a daring and struggling musician, and Aneet, a fiercely devoted writer, as their love is tested by life's trials in classic Mohit Suri style. The film explores themes of grief, sacrifice, and eternal love. Written by Rohan Shankar and Sankalp Sadanah, Saiyaara also features standout performances from Geeta Agrawal Sharma, Sid Makkar, Shaad Randhawa, Rajesh Kumar, and Varun Badola, marking the first collaboration between Mohit Suri and legendary production house Yash Raj Films.

This blockbuster of Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt broke many records, earned 4 times its budget, film was... In the glitzy and glamorous world of Bollywood, many films gave audiences some of the most memorable onscreen jodis. While some were hailed and appreciated for their sizzling chemistry, others quickly became a fan favourite. But one among the many famous on-screen jodis was that of Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt. From their individual star power to their electrifying chemistry, this combination stole hearts with their raw intensity and elegance that instantly connected with the audience. Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt worked in many films together. But their most iconic collaboration came in 1993 with Khalnayak, a film that broke records and cemented their place in cinematic history. Directed by the veteran Subhash Ghai, Khalnayak was released on 6 August 1993. This film was made on a staggering budget of Rs 5 crore, which turned out to be a blockbuster. Sanjay Dutt played the role of the notorious Ballu (Balram Prasad) in the film, while Madhuri portrayed the role of Ganga, a character that added grace. Besides these two in the lead, there were Jackie Shroff, Rakhee, Gulshan Grover, and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles. Besides the sizzling chemistry of Sanjay and Madhuri, it was the hit songs, dialogues, and intense screen presence that made audiences flock to theaters. Another element that made this film a must-watch was Madhuri's dance number 'Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai.' It quickly became a cultural phenomenon, adding to the frenzy. Success that broke records Made on a budget of Rs 5 crores, this film hit gold at the box office and collected Rs 21 crore worldwide, making it the second-highest-grossing Bollywood film of 1993, right after Govinda and Chunky Pandey's Aankhen. The film wasn't just a commercial hit, but its dialogue and songs that echoed across India made it a phenomenon. Fan Favourite Jodi What's interesting is that this wasn't the first time that Sanjay–Madhuri were working together in a film. Before this, the duo had delivered successful films like Saajan (1991). Later, they were seen together in Thanedaar, Ilaaka, Sahibaan, and Mahaanta. Their pairing became one of the most bankable jodis of the decade. However, after Sanjay's involvement in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case, Madhuri distanced herself from him personally. Then, after decades, the two reunited on screen in Kalank (2019), but unfortunately, the film didn't make the mark as it was expected to. Even now, 32 years after its release, Khalnayak resonates with the audience, and the on-screen pairing of Madhuri and Sanjay Dutt creates a magic that remains untouched.

‘A true ‘thirst trap' post,' say netizens as podcaster Raj Shamani claims to be a water connoisseur

Painting, singing, cooking, and dancing – we have come across a wide variety of hobbies. But have you heard of reviewing and rating water as one? Podcaster Raj Shamani, who identifies as a water connoisseur, claims to do just that. In conversation with Chalchitra Talks, Shamani opened up about his fascination for plain and simple water. 'Mujhe paani peena pasand hai, main na daaru peeta hoon, na main zyada soft drinks peeta hoon, toh mere paas peene ke liye option kya hai? Toh ab main har country mein jaata hoon aur dekhta hoon kaun kaunse paani available hain (I love drinking water. Neither do I drink alcohol, nor do I have a lot of soft drinks. So I do not have a lot of options left. I visit every country and try out their different options of water available),' he shared. Shamani also shared 3 unique stories of tasting water abroad: 'There's a kind of water available in Denmark, called Iskilde water — a kind of artesian water from glaciers that remains untouched and unprocessed. 'Usse meetha paani maine life mein nahi peeya (I have never tasted sweeter water in life),' said the podcaster. According to AquaDeli, a water sommelier blog, it comes from a spring discovered in 2001 in the Danish lake highlands, sourced from an aquifer 60 meters deep. The water is naturally filtered through layers of soil, sand, and clay, absorbing a variety of minerals. 'Iskilde' means 'cold spring' in Danish, and the water is bottled at a very low temperature, resulting in a high oxygen content and a silky, slightly sweet taste. Next, he spoke about UK's Hildon, that is served in the Buckingham Palace and the Royals drink it. 'There's nothing different in it, but I think it's just the hype and story, and process surrounding it that makes all the elite and royalty gravitate towards it. Third, Shamani talked about American brand Bling H2O, which costs Rs 5,000 per bottle. 'It's just regular water, there's nothing else to it. Just the bottle's packaging uses crystals to emboss the word 'Bling'. People do not care what they are drinking, they care what they a re holding,' he said. 'There's liquid death, and Bodyarmour if you want water loaded with electrolytes. If you want to drink Norwegian water, try Voss, that Harvey Specter is seen drinking in the show Suits. It's Rs 600 a bottle,' Shamani added. His niche obsession fascinated the internet, with netizens taking to comments to show their appreciation and enthusiasm for Shamani's interest. From ''He is from Rajasthan…they know water is the most valuable,' 'This is actually really cool. Never thought someone could analyze water and actually make it interesting! I am thirsty just listening to this. A true 'thirst trap' post,' to 'Yes yes I am the target audience,' people lauded the podcaster for opening up and spreading awareness about such a unique concept.
