He added, 'I've had some amazing connections with dogs over the years, and that is not the relationship that I wanted to see. I think it needed more heart. It needed more depth. He was kind of like: 'This dog. I don't really care about this dog''.
He also shared that the connection between the two was not properly showcased in the film and that it needed to be highlighted more. During his comment, his brother chimed in and shared that the film showcased Superman 'just watching the dog'.

This brings its cumulative total to £15.4 million.
