On August 10, Dr Sood shared an Instagram post listing the food items that one should avoid during pregnancy. 'Foods to avoid during pregnancy and why they matter,' he said.
1. High-mercury fish leads to brain and nerve risk
'Large predatory fish like sharks, swordfish, king mackerel, and bigeye tuna accumulate mercury, which crosses the placenta and may impair fetal brain development, increasing the risk of cerebral palsy and cognitive delays,' Dr Kunal Sood said.
2. Raw or undercooked meat, poultry, and eggs lead to listeria and salmonella risk
'Listeria can cause miscarriage, stillbirth, or newborn infections, even without symptoms in the mother. Undercooked eggs can carry Salmonella, which may rarely infect the fetus, leading to sepsis or meningitis,' Dr Sood added. 3. Unpasteurised milk, juice, and soft cheeses can lead to foodborne illness
Dr Sood said, 'Raw milk products may harbor Listeria, E. coli, or Salmonella. These bacteria can lead to miscarriage or serious complications in newborns. Only consume dairy and juices labeled as pasteurised.'
4. Unwashed produce and raw sprouts can trigger E. coli or listeria
'Sprouts grow in warm, humid conditions ideal for bacterial growth. E. coli and Listeria from unwashed produce or sprouts have been linked to pregnancy loss and neonatal infections. Wash produce well and cook sprouts thoroughly,' the doctor added.
5. Herbal teas can lead to unknown risks
He said. 'Some herbs (like nettle or alfalfa) may be unsafe in large amounts, especially early in pregnancy. Most commercial blends are likely safe in moderation (1–2 cups/day), but avoid concentrated homemade infusions unless approved by your provider.' Ms Choudhary revealed how the demands of her job secretly impacted her well-being despite her healthy habits. She attributed her decline to long hours, excessive screen time, constant deadlines, and stress, which gradually affected her mental and physical health. "I've always been a focused person, especially when it comes to my health. I used to eat healthy and take good care of my diet. I never liked fried or oily food. Ms Choudhary's life took a shocking turn with her diagnosis of stage 4 colorectal cancer, a shocking moment that changed everything. Reflecting on her experience, she now understands that her condition wasn't just a matter of bad luck. Instead, she attributes it to the cumulative effects of stress, burnout, and prolonged physical neglect. "Then came the diagnosis: Stage-4 colorectal cancer. A shocking moment that changed everything. Looking back now, I realise this wasn't just about bad luck. It was a result of stress, burnout, and complete physical neglect over time. I learned, in the hardest way possible, that no ambition is worth compromising your health. She has shared 5 ChatGPT prompts with her followers, claiming that they have transformed her hair for the better. Let's take a detailed look at her prompts and the suggestions that follow: View this post on Instagram A post shared by Devika Vohra | Hair ~ Skincare ~ Makeup (@devikavohra) Prompt 1: 'Create A full hair care routine for dry, frizzy, and damaged hair?' For this, ChatGPT recommended oiling hair 1-2 times a week before washing and using a gentle moisturising shampoo 2-3 times per week. Next was to follow up with a hydrating conditioner, applying a deep conditioning mask once a week, using a leave-in cream or serum on damp hair and avoiding heat styling as much as possible. Prompt 2: 'What ingredients should I look for or avoid in products for frizzy and damaged hair?' ChatGPT's advice was to look for the following ingredients: coconut oil almond oil argan oil aloe vera honey curd banana shea butter hibiscus bhringraj hydrolyzed proteins. Sme of the ingredients that it asked to avoid included: sulfates (SLS, SLES) drying alcohols silicones in leave-ins (if not clarifying), and parabens. Prompt 3: 'Suggest DIY hair masks using Indian kitchen ingredients.' To retain moisture, ChatGPT's suggestion was to mix curd, honey and coconut oil. For protein, it was a concoction of egg yolk, curd and olive oil. When it came to frizz control, ChatGPT's solution was to blend honey with castor oil and mashed bananas. Prompt 4: 'What habits should I change to reduce dryness, frizz, and damage?' In this case, the haircare rituals to follow were oiling before shampooing, using a soft T-shirt or microfiber towel to dry, combing gently with a wide-tooth comb, applying serum or leave-in on damp hair, avoiding frequent heat styling, sleeping on a satin or silk pillowcase and trimming split ends every 2–3 months Prompt 5: 'Give me a 30-day hair repair plan.' The week-wise regimen recommended by ChatGPT was as follows: While this worked for the influencer, you must check with your dermatogist before making any changes to your haircare routine.

Mouth breathing When you breathe through your mouth subconsciously, it puts constant pressure on your jaw because your tongue rests on the floor of your mouth instead of the roof (which happens during nose breathing). This can create a wider, broader look and distort your usual facial anatomy. Non-veg foods to eat: Grilled chicken breast (at least 250-300 grams for satiety) Eggs (preferably whites, but half yolks are acceptable) Salmon or tuna (rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which help with skin turgidity and overall skin health, making skin tighter) Avoid meats in curries, as they might contain high sodium and oil content. Prefer grilled meats during your transformation period. Vegetarian foods to eat: Substitute refined maida or regular wheat with grains like quinoa, buckwheat, jawar, and millets.
