Mafia The Old Country exact release time for PS5, Xbox Series X and PC this week
The Mafia series is poised to make a comeback later this week, and we've got all the details on the exact date and time you can dive into this gripping crime saga.
There's nothing quite like immersing yourself in a compelling gangster flick – and it's even more thrilling when you're part of the action. For two decades, that's been the allure of publisher 2K 's robust yet somewhat uneven Mafia series, last seen with 2020's Mafia: Definitive Edition remake.
Now, it's set to return with the prequel entry, Mafia: The Old Country. From what we've seen in trailers and gameplay snippets so far, it's an incredibly stunning game where you get to climb the ladder of a genuine Italian crime family.
Mafia: The Old Country deviates from previous entries as it's set in Italy rather than America, giving intrigued players a chance to explore the true roots of what would later evolve into the mob.
If this sounds like your cup of tea, then you'll want to know the precise Mafia: The Old Country release date and time. The good news is, there's not much longer to wait.
Here's when players on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox can plunge into the captivating drama.

Mafia: The Old Country release date and time
As confirmed on 2K's official Mafia website, the Mafia: The Old Country release date and time is set for 9pm PDT / 12am EDT on Thursday, August 7 and 12am BST on Friday, August 8 at for console players.
PC gamers will be able to access the game on Thursday, August 7 at 9am PDT / 12pm EDT / 5pm BST. This means those who purchase Mafia: The Old Country on PC will have a slight head start, but the wait isn't much longer for those planning to play on PS5 or Xbox Series X |S.
Being a prequel to the three other main entries in the series, Mafia: The Old Country is an excellent starting point, even for newcomers. As new Mafia recruit Enzo, players can race, drive, and shoot their way through a stunning depiction of 1900s Sicily, developed in Unreal Engine 5.
Developer Hanger 13 has been quite transparent about this entry returning to the franchise's more linear roots. In today's sea of open-world titles, it should hopefully feel refreshing.
We'll know for sure when this week's Mafia: The Old Country release date and time finally arrives.

'My son is obsessed with McDonald's – so I came up with perfect parenting hack'
As a parent, it can be hard saying no to your kids when they ask for certain things like junk food or the latest video game. But one mum has come up with the perfect hack It's undoubtable for parents to often cave whenever their kids ask for something slightly unreasonable. There are certain parenting tips that can make your life a lot easier, but now one mum has certainly sussed it and people are impressed. Posting on TikTok, Caitlin and Leah, who often share parenting tips with their 9.7million followers, came up with a genius trick to spoil their McDonald's obsessed son. In a recent clip, which racked up 224,000 likes, Caitlin claimed the couple had been spending a fortune on feeding their boy burgers and fries from the iconic chain, until she found a clever way to disguise it. The clip shows a voiceover which says: "Our son is absolutely obsessed with McDonald's and it's costing us a fortune. "So I've decided to make my own and disguise it. I really hope he doesn't notice." The video then starts with Caitlin sneaking into the kitchen and claiming one of the McDonald's bags that was put in the bin. After, the mum pours a portion of fries into the airfryer before rustling up a burger of her own. Once it's all cooked, she places the bits into the McDonald's packaging. Her final mission is to carefully place it all in the bag before giving it to her son for him to enjoy. Finally, you can hear Caitlin's son getting excited after seeing his McDonald's delivery. He says: "It's McDonald's. Want it want it. Want my burger burger. I love it! I love McDonald's. I love you darling." The video was shared with the caption: "I think we've found a new parenting hack. Let's hope he doesn't start to notice." Since it was posted on TikTok, it garnered a lot of attention from others praising the smart hack. One joked: "Unfortunately he's going to notice... the food is actually warm for once." Another added: "He's so cute at the end." Meanwhile others mentioned Caitlin could easily tell her son "no". A person commented: "Just refuse the McDonald's, it's not that hard." Caitlin and Leah are an LGBTQ+ couple who often share a glimpse into their marriage and life as parents. They have a YouTube channel where they post vlogs and advice. Previously, they became more present on Instagram and TikTok after sharing their IVF journey.

Taking to Instagram, Tommy shared a series of snaps from the trio's sunny holiday in Turkey - including one of them all cosied up. He captioned: "One of the best trips ever." One follower commented: "These photos are so special." Another added: "Bambi looks sooo happy as do you all, lovely pics." A third shared: "Good seeing you back where you belong lad." It comes as Molly-Mae revealed why Tommy doesn't feature in her YouTube vlogs. Fans had claimed that Molly's sister Zoe, 28, is more of a father figure due to her regular appearance in the videos. Molly-Mae explained: "I've seen so many comments saying 'Zoe is more the dad' I only vlog when I am not with Tommy, I am with Tommy literally 80% of the week and he is with Bambi majority of the week. "But I vlog when we are here and he is at his because it's just something that I am not ready to like open up with yet and like flinging the camera around like when we're a family. Molly-Mae admits real reason she's not filming with Tommy Fury after breaking down in tears on camera "I just think like we're not there yet and still figuring out life and living situations. I'm not ready to vlog like we used to." The couple only recently confirmed their reunion after splitting last August. Their relationship story featured in Molly's recent Amazon documentary where she talked about their New Year's Eve kiss, which began feverish speculation that they were back together. They are now working hard to put past cheating allegations and Tommy's alcohol-fuelled partying problems behind them. A source previously told us: 'It sounds extreme, but Molly feels much more reassured when Tommy checks in. "It all helps with trust, honesty and transparency between the two of them. 'Tommy dutifully phones Molly the minute that he arrives anywhere. 'And then she likes him to also show her where he is. 'This has been going on for months now, and Tommy's friends are impressed that he has agreed to it whole-heartedly.'

Yes, New York now has a tomato ketchup smoothie to try
If someone were to ask, 'Is a tomato a fruit or a vegetable?', you may get differing answers depending on the company. Commonly classified as veg, the savory red plant is, in fact, a fruit, or really a berry, as the fruit grows from the flower of a plant and has a chamber of seeds inside. That being said, NFL player George Kittle dropped a further dilemma on us, positing on X: 'If tomatoes are a fruit, is ketchup a smoothie?' Now his musings have come to fruition, as one iconic condiment brand is bringing the ketchup smoothie to life. Just in time for the peak of the tomato season, HEINZ has debuted The HEINZ Tomato Ketchup Smoothie. Starting today, August 6, select Smoothie King locations around the country, including Atlanta, Chicago, Denver and right here in the city, are blending up the ripened red smoothie for a limited time. More than just a squirt of the stuff in a Styrofoam cup, the smoothie comes with a blend of açaí sorbet, apple juice, strawberries and raspberries for a sweet and tangy sip. 'After months of meticulous R&D, testing, and tasting, we landed on a savory-sweet blend that celebrates the tomato in all its glory,' said Lori Primavera, vice president of R&D and product marketing at Smoothie King, in a press release. Of course, this isn't the first time the smoothie franchise has blended up something special. Last year, the brand partnered with Dude Perfect, a group of influencers whose content of comedy and trick-shots has racked up 61.4 million subscribers on YouTube. The group of five—Cory and Coby Cotton, Garrett Hilbert, Cody Jones and Tyler Toney—created a protein-based drink, aptly named Dude Perfect, that included a combo of pineapples, bananas, kiwi-apple juice, vanilla frozen yogurt, turbinado and blue spirulina for color. It begs to reason: will the Smoothie King follow in the footsteps of upscale L.A. grocer, Erewhon, and tap celebrities like Hailey Bieber and Olivia Rodrigo for its prohibitively expensive smoothies? It's hard to say. But if you are ready for a 'tomato girl summer' now, head to your nearest Smoothie King to try the berry-like concoction and join the discourse by using the hashtag #KetchupSmoothie.
