Teddy Mitchell's EastEnders exit 'sealed' as fans spot 'clue' he's 'in danger'

Daily Mirror20-05-2025

EastEnders fans are fearing Teddy Mitchell will be the one 'in danger' after the soap confirmed a dramatic car crash involving a number of residents next week
It's been a dramatic time for Teddy Mitchell in EastEnders. Recently, the character has had to deal with his ex-wife Nicola Mitchell covering up the murder of their son Harry's ex-wife Shireen. Now, his son is no longer speaking to him and has moved out to Billy and Honey's house.
However, those big problems aren't Teddy's only issues, as he's yet to find out that he's not the father of his youngest son, Barney - Zack is. Spoilers have now revealed the secret is set to come out next week, and many fans fear it may be the end for Teddy as a trailer of a car crash last week asked: "Who's in danger?"

Now, spoilers for next week reveal that Teddy is involved alongside a number of other characters in cars ahead of the incident. One of the cars ends up going over a bridge and into the water below, with the fallout kept completely under wraps.

Prior to the accident, the secret will be revealed that Barney isn't Teddy's son. The Mitchells then find about Zack's plan to kidnap Barney and Harry takes drastic measures and locks him in his boot.
However, Teddy fears his son will go too far and when he spots his brother Billy Mitchell taking Honey and Nigel to the cinema, he intercepts them. He begs them to follow Harry to save Zack before it's too late. One car veers off the road and into the river but as of yet, it's not certain which.
Of course, fans have taken to X, formerly known as Twitter to speculate and many believe they've spotted clues that lead to Teddy being in danger. One fan, who thinks they've spotted a huge clue said: "Teddy's actor has a new project coming up on his IMBD. It'd be a shame to lose him so early in the game."
Teddy star Roland Manookian has upcoming drama The Island Apes on his IMBD profile - however, this doesn't confirm an exit from the soap.

Another fan predicted: "Teddy- this would make the most sense as Zach could bond with Barney Nicola could try to blame Shireen's death on him & it would send Harry into a spiral."
Teddy star Roland Manookian has upcoming drama The Island Apes on his IMBD profile - however, this doesn't confirm an exit from the soap.
Another said: "I think Teddy is going to die - only because I want Nicola to go back to prison so that Harry and Shireen can get justice.

"Meanwhile, I don't want Zack to die as Sharon can't lose another family member so soon after Martin and Zack deserves a new direction," while a fourth agreed: "I think Teddy is definitely a goner #Eastenders."
In tonight's episode, Zack could be seen brushing off any attempts to make up with his father, but could it be too late soon?
The soap has not confirmed any deaths yet - just that some will be in danger. However, spoilers reveal the "survivors scramble" to the bank and try to save "those trapped" inside the vehicle.
Fans will have to wait until next week to see how things unfold.

Huge EastEnders twist as George's whereabouts on Christmas finally revealed

The floor falls from beneath Elaine Knight's (Harriet Thorpe) feet in EastEnders next week, as she learns where her husband George (Colin Salmon) ran off to on Christmas Day. As viewers of the BBC soap will remember, every member of the Beale and Knight clans provided an alibi for their whereabouts on the festive evening. That was because wicked Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) had been viciously attacked with a snow shovel, and until February, nobody knew who was responsible. It later transpired that Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth) was the culprit, but that left a lot of questions as to where everyone else was on the fateful night – and whether they were telling the truth. George told his family that he was partaking in an illegal underground boxing match, but also later asked brother Kojo (Dayo Koleosho) to back up his alibi. He then admitted to daughter Gina (Francesca Henry) that he wasn't at the fight. In scenes that air this week, Elaine is left furious when he helps out with Cindy's relaunch of The Prince Albert, and her rival karaoke party flops, and by this time next week, things aren't any better between the couple. Tension is simmering behind the bar at The Vic as she silently fumes over George lending a hand his ex-wife a hand with her re-opening. Elaine decides to show her husband how committed she is to him, and presents a touching gift honouring his boxing past. However, as they relish in happiness, his son Junior (Micah Balfour) storms in and drops a bombshell. At Christmas, George secretly visited his ex Sabrina – Junior's mum. An argument escalates when he admits that Sabrina kissed him, although he pushed her away. Elaine declares that she's had enough and throws him out of the family home. An emotional George heads out to find Junior to vent his frustration, but instead crosses paths with Cindy, who – perhaps conveniently – is there to offer a shoulder to cry on. Later, Elaine tries to make peace and goes looking for George… only to spot him on the balcony of The Albert in a very warm embrace with Cindy. Heartbroken, she retreats to the café to gather herself. But things go from bad to worse when she returns and Felix lets slip that George and Cindy left together. More Trending Believing that he has betrayed her, Elaine decides not to wallow in self pity and calls up someone for for a drink. While she waits, a cheeky punter named Stephen tries his luck, but is quickly brushed to one side by Elaine's old pal Drew Peacock (Paul Clayton), the drag queen who had a secret relationship with her late husband. Drew gives Elaine a much-needed pep talk, reminding her to remain strong and not let Cindy get her down. Boosted by Drew's words, Elaine makes a shocking decision. View More » What does she do? John questioned by police on Nate's murder in Emmerdale

In the wake of the discovery of Nate Robinson's (Jurell Carter) untimely Emmerdale death, accusations are flying, but it's John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) who is sweating. Murderous John seemed to be high and dry after the dredging of the lake was called off, and with Aidan slipping back into his coma – the other person who could blow his cover – he smugly returned to the village to resume the new life he'd created for himself. But reality came back to bite him on the bum when they dredged the lake anyway and Nate's body was finally found. It's badly decomposed so it'll be harder for the police to gather much if any DNA, but there will be a thorough investigation regardless and John is not in the clear. Then his worst living nightmare comes true – the police show up to question him about the day Nate disappeared. Having got away with things for this long he plays it cool. But as it turns out, it's not him they're after – it's Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley). Now this does not a happy Cain make, and though the finger isn't pointing at John, John still needs to work hard to protect Cain from going down for a crime he didn't commit – especially in the wake of Tracy Shankley's (Amy Walsh) accusation towards him. Tracy later walks passed and Sam Dingle (James Hooton) can't resist giving her what for. Cain is left shaken and puts voice to a dark thought that he believes Tracy did away with her ex. Finger firmly pointed, Tracy feebly tries to defend herself, but John concocts a dreadful plan to take the heat off Cain. The police soon arrive at Tug Ghyll with a search warrant and make a massive discovery – Nate's phone in Frankie's playhouse. Now the fear sets in for Tracy as she realises how bad things are starting to look – just wait until they find out she's been using his credit card too. But before they even get that far, they learn there is no record of the removal men who came to collect Nate's stuff – the ones that Tracy was the only one to interact with. It's looking damning and Tracy is taken to the station. More Trending The police reveal they suspect Nate died the day he was due to leave, so quick thinking Tracy gives a false alibi – which implicates Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick). The police need to corroborate this, and Vanessa is blindsided when they show up to question her. View More » Has John sealed innocent Tracy's fate?
