Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) and Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) can no longer keep their illicit secret under wraps in EastEnders next week – and it's all thanks to, you guessed it, Cindy (Michelle Collins)!
Still bitter in her feud with Kathy, Cindy catches them in the act and decides to explode the affair at a party where poor Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) thinks she is celebrating her engagement!
Meanwhile, Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) makes a discovery that could turn everything on its head.
Harvey prepares for the Slaters camping trip, but things go from bad to worse when Jean refuses to go without Stacey, upsetting Lily in the process. Harvey manages to convince Stacey to come, but his work is soon undone when Lily is adamant she doesn't want Stacey there.
Harvey explodes and heads to the café to seek solace with Kathy, but he receives the cold shoulder. Stacey and Lily make amends and the Slaters rally together to set up a makeshift camp at home when Alfie reveals the campervan is no longer available.
Harvey is overcome with guilt and heads to the Square but when he returns home, Jean proposes…
Vicki and Ross continue to worry about Joel's behaviour, as Vicki attempts to persuade Ross to speak to Ravi and Priya about their discovery last week.
Ross decides to speak to Avani instead, but Suki spies the conversation from afar and grows suspicious of the clandestine chat.
Gina grows concerned for Harry and later secretly reveals all to Teddy and Nicola when they accost her in the Minute Mart on his wellbeing.
Teddy and Nicola head to The Arches to share their concerns with Harry, but he dismisses them before riling at Gina.
Gina denies any wrongdoing, and the pair later make amends in The Vic where Jay warns Gina about her growing friendship with Harry.
Elsewhere, Linda is confused when Phil is reluctant to call Sharon, but he drops a bombshell and reveals she slept with Grant…
Harvey fails to find an answer, forcing a heartbroken Jean to flee to the café where she confides in Kathy.
Harvey remains tight-lipped when questioned by Alfie and prepares to reveal all to Jean when she returns but things go from bad to worse when Jean mistakes Harvey's words as an acceptance to her proposal.
Harvey makes his excuses to leave as the Slaters celebrate, and he heads to Kathy's for a kiss but unbeknown to them, Cindy is watching and has recorded it all…
Suki's suspicions are raised further when Avani and Ross give different versions of events when questioned about their chat, forcing Vicki to reveal to Suki that Joel slept with Avani.
Harry misreads Gina's signals and he leaves to take solace in The Vic with Billy. Gina goes in search of Harry.
Elsewhere, Linda tries to persuade Phil to speak to Sharon.
Ian and Kathy excitedly prepare for the baby's welcome home party, but disaster strikes when Cindy arrives.
In The Vic, the residents of Walford join the Beales celebrations, but triumphant Cindy gatecrashes.
Peter shuns Cindy, and feeling cast out once again, Cindy decides to play the video of Kathy and Harvey kissing during his and Jean's engagement announcement for all to see.
Suki attempts to talk to Avani about sleeping with Joel, but Avani is in no mood to talk and storms out. Suki tries to talk to Priya about Avani, but she soon covers realising Ravi is in earshot. More Trending
Later, Suki finds a quiet moment to reveal all to Priya, but Ravi returns home mid-conversations and overhears everything. Ravi heads to No.43 to berate Joel and a fight ensues between Ross and Ravi.
Harvey is overwhelmed as the Square congratulate him on his engagement, as the Slaters head to The Vic to officially announce the news at George and Elaine's request.
The Square reel at Cindy's footage as Jean presses Harvey on its contents. Kathy and Ian head home where she reveals all about her affair.

EastEnders bombshell as Queen Vic's loudmouth new landlady revealed as owners Linda & Elaine put iconic pub up for sale

ALBERT Square's next landlady at the Queen Vic pub is Kat Moon, The Sun can reveal. The leopard print-loving loudmouth takes over the EastEnders boozer after owners Linda Carter and her mum Elaine Peacock were forced to put it up for sale. 8 8 8 It marks a glorious return behind the Walford watering hole for Kat — previously Kat Slater, and licensee with husband Alfie Moon from 2010 to 2013. This time, for as yet unknown reasons, it will be just her name above the door. A source said: 'This will be Kat's third time working in the Queen Vic, but this will be her first time at the helm. 'It's a full-circle moment for the character, as when she first moved on to Albert Square in 2000, Kat gained employment as a barmaid at the pub. Then, ten years on, she helped Alfie. 'But now she's going to be the sole licensee of the boozer and it will kick-start a whole new chapter for the pub. 'Kat follows in the high heels of the Square's most formidable women — Angie Watts, her daughter Sharon and Peggy Mitchell — and puts her at the centre of the action.' The move also places actress Jessie Wallace at the heart of the soap and establishes her among the BBC's most valued talent. Over the past five years, bosses have relied on Jessie, 53, as part of the soap's biggest storylines, including Alfie's prostate cancer battle and a failed marriage to Phil Mitchell. And its another show of support after Jessie got a conditional caution from cops for assaulting a police officer outside a nightclub in 2022. Kat's new job comes after she this week ties the knot with Alfie (Shane Richie) for the third time — more than two decades after first saying 'I do'. EastEnders favourite kicked out by partner in fiery argument as 'cheating' exposed They are one of the soap's most popular couples. The sale of the boozer comes after it blew up in February, claiming the lives of Martin Fowler (James Bye) and killer accountant Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman). BIG BOOZE TO FILL.. ANGIE WATTS (Anita Dobson) 8 THE Queen Vic's first lady, serving alongside husband Dirty Den from 1975 to 1988. Angie left when she moved to Spain with lover, Sonny. PAT BUTCHER 8 BOLSHY Pat pulled pints with gravel-voiced husband Frank from 1988 to 1990 but they gave up to look after daughter Janine and run a B&B. SHARON WATTS (Letitia Dean) QUEEN Vic landlady from 1991 as owners Phil and Grant Mitchell (her husband) had criminal records. She left in 1994 then returned several times. PEGGY MITCHELL Barbara Windsor 8 AFTER Phil's affair with Sharon, the brothers' mum took on the Vic with Grant — becoming the longest-serving landlady, off and on from 1994 to 2010. JANINE BUTCHER (Charlie Brooks) LANDLADY for just a few hours. She and fiancé Archie Mitchell blackmailed Ian Beale to sell up but Archie double-crossed and evicted her.

EastEnders confirms unexpected Stacey twist as Alfie vanishes

EastEnders' Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) disappears from Walford next week following a conversation with Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner). As viewers of the BBC One soap know, Stacey, along with her children Arthur (Rocco Brenner) and Hope (Isabelle Smith) went to stay with their cousin Lynne (Elaine Lordan) last month. She'd had a traumatic week, having finally plucked up the courage to face the outside world following ex-husband Martin Fowler's (James Bye) death. Just as she felt brave enough, she faced a horrific setback as Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) accidentally washed her phone, containing precious photographs and voicemails. Arthur also confessed that he had access to Martin's phone – and that Stacey had been sending text messages implying that he was still alive. Fearing that she had stopped taking her bipolar medication, Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) staged an intervention. When Stacey's eldest daughter Lily (Lillia Turner) announced her intention to visit her dad Ryan Malloy (Neil McDermott) in Wakefield, Stace' decided that she too should take some time away from Albert Square. Despite their absence, tensions have been running high in the Slater household. In the aftermath of Harvey Monroe's (Ross Boatman) affair with Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth), he unknowingly signed on the dotted line to operate a limousine business with Kat. Love was clearly in the air, as Alfie then got down on one knee and proposed to Kat, with them deciding to get wed and use it as an opportunity to publicise the purchase of the vehicle. In upcoming scenes, Harvey's ex Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) is heartbroken to see the press coverage, which suggests that Kathy is 'Mrs Monroe.' She pours her heart out to Alfie, who is otherwise distracted by his phone. Jean then runs into Harvey, and attempts to sabotage his new venture until Alfie intervenes. He promises that he'll be there for her in the wake of her breakup, but it soon becomes clear that he's already got enough on his plate when Stacey calls him with another problem. While on the tube, Joel got Tommy to record him falling onto a woman – and touching her. She's desperate to find Alfie and talk to him about Joel's influence, but he's nowhere to be found. When they do eventually have a conversation, she's left feeling like he isn't being completely honest with her. Fiona Harvey says she's going blind during 'stress' of Baby Reindeer lawsuit

The woman who inspired Richard Gadd's hit series Baby Reindeer has revealed she is going blind. Fiona Harvey, 59, a Scottish law graduate, is currently at the centre of a multi-million dollar defamation lawsuit against Netflix. Last year the dark comedy was released on the streaming service, which stated at the start that it was 'a true story'. The seven-episode series was written by and based on the real-life experience of Gadd, who plays amateur comedian Donny. Over the course of several years, he is stalked and abused by Martha, played by Jessica Gunning. Following its release, internet sleuths seemingly found the 'real Martha' – Harvey – who has taken the streaming giant to court, demanding £132million for her supposed depiction in the series. Now, however, Harvey has shed light on how she has been diagnosed with background retinopathy. The law graduate told the Record: 'I'm going blind and it's not surprising with the stress I have been under as a result of Baby Reindeer. 'I am diabetic and had always been able to keep my blood sugars under control, but my blood sugars have been wild ever since Richard Gadd's show aired. 'I am not sleeping properly, I'm not able to eat properly, I'm not able to get proper exercise because I'm virtually a prisoner in my own home.' It is said that Harvey received confirmation that she had the illness on Thursday after undergoing eye tests at a London hospital. The condition affects people with diabetes and occurs when high blood sugar levels damage light sensitive tissue. Although people with stage one of the disease do not suffer vision loss, it is more than likely that vision problems will continue over time. According to the Record, a copy of the letter confirms her diagnosis, saying: 'Dear Dr Fiona Harvey, Your test results show that you do have background retinopathy.' Harvey went on to add that her sugars 'were fine' until Baby Reindeer and it 'led to all my physical health problems'. 'I don't have money for proper food. I feel it could lead to blindness very quickly in both eyes,' she continued. Previously, Harvey alleged that the series falsely implied she had sexually assaulted Gadd and had been sent to prison for stalking him. Although Netflix filed a motion in July to throw the suit out in July, a judge ruled towards the end of last year that Baby Reindeer did not live up to its billing as a 'true story' and has allowed Harvey to pursue the court case. Netflix has defended the lawsuit and Gadd's 'right to tell his story', but at the crux is the claim that Harvey has no criminal convictions, unlike Martha. The streaming platform continues to argue in legal papers that the alleged defamatory statements are 'substantially true'.
