EastEnders confirms unexpected Stacey twist as Alfie vanishes
EastEnders' Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) disappears from Walford next week following a conversation with Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).
As viewers of the BBC One soap know, Stacey, along with her children Arthur (Rocco Brenner) and Hope (Isabelle Smith) went to stay with their cousin Lynne (Elaine Lordan) last month.
She'd had a traumatic week, having finally plucked up the courage to face the outside world following ex-husband Martin Fowler's (James Bye) death.
Just as she felt brave enough, she faced a horrific setback as Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) accidentally washed her phone, containing precious photographs and voicemails.
Arthur also confessed that he had access to Martin's phone – and that Stacey had been sending text messages implying that he was still alive. Fearing that she had stopped taking her bipolar medication, Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) staged an intervention.
When Stacey's eldest daughter Lily (Lillia Turner) announced her intention to visit her dad Ryan Malloy (Neil McDermott) in Wakefield, Stace' decided that she too should take some time away from Albert Square.
Despite their absence, tensions have been running high in the Slater household.
In the aftermath of Harvey Monroe's (Ross Boatman) affair with Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth), he unknowingly signed on the dotted line to operate a limousine business with Kat.
Love was clearly in the air, as Alfie then got down on one knee and proposed to Kat, with them deciding to get wed and use it as an opportunity to publicise the purchase of the vehicle.
In upcoming scenes, Harvey's ex Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) is heartbroken to see the press coverage, which suggests that Kathy is 'Mrs Monroe.'
She pours her heart out to Alfie, who is otherwise distracted by his phone. Jean then runs into Harvey, and attempts to sabotage his new venture until Alfie intervenes.
He promises that he'll be there for her in the wake of her breakup, but it soon becomes clear that he's already got enough on his plate when Stacey calls him with another problem.

Things then go from bad to worse when he reveals that Spencer is in a bad way in Australia, and he needs to go and stay with him.

Richard Madeley has opened up on the moment his father died, saying he 'had a heart attack on the spot' weeks after his wedding Good Morning Britain graced the telly again on Thursday (12 June), as presenters Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid served up another packed edition of the ITV breakfast programme. You want people to come up to you and talk to you. You need that trigger to talk." Moreover, Thursday's episode saw them join forces with their colleague Richard Arnold, who came bearing the latest scoops in showbiz and television, reports the Manchester Evening News. During his segment, Richard paid homage to the legendary musician Brian Wilson following the announcement of his passing on 11 June. Brian was a founding member of the iconic Beach Boys. The lead singer and co-founder of the band died at the age of 82, with his cause of death yet to be disclosed. "A real pop pioneer. He co-founded one of the most commercially successful bands of all time, the Beach Boys, rivalling The Beatles," Richard shared with his audience. He also reminisced about his own discovery of the Beach Boys back in the 1970s, admitting he played their records "constantly" and was "very much a Beach Boys fan".

The show stars Lee Mack, who also created the series, as a fictionalised version of himself: an unambitious man in his late thirties living in a flat in the London Docklands. Lee soon becomes the lodger of his best friend Tim's (Tim Vine) sister, Lucy (Sally Bretton). The series chronicles the pair's ups and downs of living together and going from friends to one of TV's most popular couples. Premiering in 2006, Not Going Out has since become the second-longest-running British sitcom, behind Last of the Summer Wine - which ran from 1973 to 2010. Not Going Out's 14th season will air on BBC One on Friday, June 13 at 9pm, with new episodes airing weekly. The entire season will also be available as a box set on BBC iPlayer. Now, the show is changing again, with another time-jump seeing Lee and Lucy moving house, away from their family home which has become an "empty nest". Emmerdale confirms first arrest in Nate story in ITVX release
The following article contains spoilers from an episode of Emmerdale that hasn't aired on ITV1 yet, but can be viewed on ITVX. Tracy Shankley (Amy Walsh) has been arrested in Emmerdale. The character was told a few days ago that Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) had been found dead at the bottom of the lake. Reeling in the aftermath, it didn't take Tracy very long to accuse Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) of killing his son. This was because Cain and Nate had a major fight shortly before he was killed. At the time, Cain believed the rumour that Nate was sleeping with Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) again, but it wasn't true. Cain attacked Nate so brutally Tracy thought he was going to kill him. It's this moment that Tracy has kept in her mind since she learnt about her partner, convinced Cain murdered Nate shortly after the fight. Cain and a few others now believe that Tracy might be pointing the finger elsewhere as a deflection tactic. She was questioned yesterday after Nate's phone was found in Frankie's playhouse, and the same thing happened again tonight. DS Walsh revealed to Tracy that Nate was definitely killed the day he was meant to go to Shetland, and she needed confirmation of what Tracy was doing that day. She immediately created an alibi, saying she was with Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) and their children. Walsh made her way to the vets a few hours later to find Vanessa. When she asked her to match Tracy's story, there was an element of hesitancy and doubt. Meanwhile, Cain (Jeff Hordley) was being supported in the pub by the likes of Liam (Jonny McPherson) and Charles (Kevin Mathurin). It took him a little while, but he eventually came to accept that the two men are just trying to look out for him, as they've both lost children themselves. Cain, Charles, Liam and then Moira (Natalie J Robb), Ruby (Beth Cordingly), Aaron (Danny Miller) and John (Oliver Farnworth) all decided to raise a glass to those they've lost – but the moving moment was interrupted by Tracy.
