When is Belly's birthday in The Summer I Turned Pretty?
The Summer I Turned Pretty (TSITP) recently saw Belly Conklin (played by Lola Tung) marking her 21st birthday, following on from her quick engagement that left fans fuming and signalled numerous red flags about her husband-to-be.
Episode four of season three of the Prime Video show saw Belly celebrating her birthday in Philadelphia, with her parents trying to make sure she had a wonderful breakfast and presenting her with a bottle of wine from the year she was born.
But their celebrations ended on a sour note when Laurel Park (Jackie Chung) refused to go wedding dress shopping with Belly and reiterated her opposition to her daughter's engagement to Jeremiah Fisher (Gavin Casalegno).
The episode also saw Belly moving out of her mother's house in Philadelphia and living in the summer house in Cousins after Jeremiah gave her a key as a birthday present.
Belly's 21st birthday appeared to be a memorable one for all the wrong reasons as she struggled to choose her wedding dress without her mother and wondered how she would make it down the aisle without Laurel's support.
Many fans are now curious to know when Belly's birthday is supposed to be, here's the lowdown.
When is Belly's birthday in The Summer I Turned Pretty?
In The Summer I Turned Pretty novels by Jenny Han, Belly's birthday is in August.
However, the author and TSITP co-showrunner Han changed her birthday for the TV adaptation.
In the show, Belly's birthday takes place at the end of June as she celebrates her sweet 16th in season one.
Jeremiah is a year older than Belly, while his older brother Conrad Fisher (Christopher Briney) is a year-and-a-half older than her.
The age gap between the two brothers is quite small with Jeremiah only a year behind Conrad, however, in terms of temperament and maturity they are polar opposites.
According to Reddit, Conrad is a Scorpio with his birthday in either October or November.
By the time we get to season three of TSITP, Jeremiah is now 22 and will be repeating a semester after failing to read an email correctly regarding his classes.
Meanwhile, Conrad is approximately 23 in the most recent season of the YA drama.
In reality, the stars of TSITP are very different ages to their alter-egos, with Conrad actor Briney several years older than his brooding character and is currently 27.
Jeremiah actor Casalegno is 25, making him a couple of years older than his character.
Out of the three stars, Tung is actually closest to her character's age at 22.
Previously speaking about Belly and Jeremiah's tumultuous romance, particularly in the aftermath of his cheating and accepting his hasty engagement proposal, Tung told Elle: 'Young love is intense.'
She went on to tell the outlet how she felt Belly was initially in 'pure shock' from the revelation after learning the person she considered to be her number one could have done such a thing.
Tung added: 'This is someone who's been her rock for so many years and who she's known her entire life. It can be heartbreaking when you feel like you don't know everything [about someone].'

The Girlfriend trailer unveils Olivia Cooke in eerie role for steamy thriller
The new psychological drama series is based on Michelle Frances' novel of the same name. Prime Video has just unveiled the full trailer and first look images of House of the Dragon star Olivia Cooke and Forrest Gump's Robin Wright in The Girlfriend. The eerie six-episode thriller follows Laura (played by Robin Wright), who has a successful career, a loving husband and a son she dotes on. Her perfect life falls apart her when son Daniel (Laurie Davidson) introduces her to his new girlfriend, Cherry (Olivia Cooke). From the outset, Laura can feel something is off with Cherry - but is it really mother's intuition or simply Laura not wanting to share her precious son? Laura becomes convinced Cherry is hiding something and develops an unhealthy obsession that will ruin multiple lives. The series, which will air on Prime Video on September 10, also stars Waleed Zuaiter as Howard, Tanya Moodie as Isabella, Shalom Brune-Franklin as Brigitte, Karen Henthorn as Tracey, Anna Chancellor as Lilith, Leo Suter as Nicholas, and Francesca Corney as Millie. The trailer opens with a steamy scene of Cherry and Daniel sharing an intimate moment, before Cherry is introduced to his family. Laura says: "My son always had girlfriends, but I have never heard him speak about anyone like this." When Cherry and Laura first lay eyes on one another, there is instant tension, with Laura claiming "jury's out" on whether she approves. The synopsis adds: "Is she a manipulative social climber, or is Laura just paranoid? The truth is a matter of perspective." Cherry's mum warns her of the dangers of loving someone who comes from money, saying: "I'd be careful if I were you." But appears Cherry could be the real threat as she goes on to say: "He doesn't even know who you are." As Cherry dangles Daniel in front of Laura, rubbing in the fact Daniel's loyalties have changed, Laura declares she does not trust Daniel's mysterious new girlfriend. Viewers will have to tune in to the already highly anticipated series to find out who Cherry really is.

'Fantastic' BBC period drama epic about real life rivalry ‘nobody has done before' lands this month
The BBC's upcoming big budget period drama epic King & Conqueror stars James Norton and has been branded a 'must watch' for fans of The Last Kingdom and The Winter King. New teaser pictures have been released of the much anticipated new period drama from the BBC. King & Conqueror is coming to screens this August bank holiday, and tells the story of how William the Conqueror ascended the English throne after the Battle of Hastings in 1066. Set in 11th-century Britain, the show stars James Norton, Eddie Marsan and Juliet Stevenson, exploring how the future King of England Harold Godwinson and William, Duke of Normandy, came to be such bitter rivals. The ambitious production will take viewers back to the period running up to the Battle of Hastings, which saw King Harold II brutally killed by William the Conqueror's invading forces. Norton and Game of Thrones actor Nikolaj Coster-Walda play the famous feuding leaders in the eight-part series, brought by The Frankenstein Chronicles writer Michael Robert Johnson and Everest director Baltasar Kormákur. The BBC synopsis reads: "King & Conqueror is the story of a clash that defined the future of a country – and a continent – for a thousand years, the roots of which stretch back decades and extend out through a pair of interconnected family dynasties, struggling for power across two countries and a raging sea. "Harold of Wessex and William of Normandy were two men destined to meet at the Battle of Hastings in 1066; two allies with no design on the English throne, who found themselves forced by circumstance and personal obsession into a war for possession of its crown." The new pictures show James Norton as Harold, Earl of Wessex, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as William, Duke of Normandy, Emily Beecham as Edith Swan-neck, Clémence Poésy as Matilda, Eddie Marsan as King Edward, Juliet Stevenson as Lady Emma, Clare Holman as Gytha, Luther Ford as Tostig, Bo Bragason as Queen Gunhild and Indy Lewis as Margaret. Fans of the likes of The Last Kingdom and The Winter King are urged to check the show out when it airs, and many have been taking to social media to express their excitement ahead of the historical epic hitting screens. One took to Reddit to say: "I think this looks fantastic. Absolutely stellar cast, and such an interesting time in history that hasn't gotten enough on-screen depiction." Another said: "Looking so forward to this. Took trips to look at the bayeux tapestry and go to the (apparent) site of the Battle of Hastings. About time there's a movie about it." A third excited viewer said: "It has to be good. The Norman Conquest definitely needs more adaptions. I am absolutely anticipating this series." And a fourth said: "This looks epic, gritty and a pure medieval journey. I can't wait to see this, been waiting for a such long time." The series also stars Elander Moore as Morcar, Geoff Bell as Godwin, Jean-Marc Barr as King Henry, Elliott Cowan as Sweyn, Bjarne Henriksen as Earl Siward, Oliver Masucci as Baldwin, Jason Forbes as Thane Thomas, Ingvar Sigurdsson as Fitzosbern, Ines Asserson as Judith, Sveinn Ólafur Gunnarsson as Hardrada and Léo Legrand as Odo. King & Conqueror is produced by The Development Partnership, Rabbit Track Pictures, Shepherd Content, RVK Studios and CBS Studios, in association with the BBC.
