Man, 22, dies falling from London rooftop after night out
Ryley Harbord, 22, fell from a residential property, in Brewer Street, at around 2am on Saturday, May 3.
Pictures show him at a bar in Soho earlier in the evening.
His death is being treated as unexpected and an investigation has been launched. More Trending
Police are appealing for people who saw Ryley or spoke to him on Friday evening to come forward or anyone who contacted him between 7pm on Friday and 2am on Saturday.
Detective Chief Inspector Anne Linton, who is leading the investigation, said: 'First and foremost, our thoughts are with Ryley's family as they come to terms with this tragic loss. This is an unimaginably difficult time for them.
'Soho was bustling at the start of a Bank Holiday, which means there is a likelihood someone saw or spoke to Ryley.
'If this is you, you may hold really important information that helps us piece together the circumstances surrounding Ryley's death and we would ask you to please get in touch with us as soon as possible.'

Drugs and cash found after police seize bike in Newport
A suspicious vehicle was spotted by officers on Chepstow Road, Newport, at around 4.30pm. The bike is believed to have been stolen from Bristol. A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: 'Officers on patrol spotted a suspicious vehicle in Chepstow Road, Newport, at around 4.30pm on Tuesday 12 August. Shannon Matthews detective reveals moment ‘bewildered' girl was found

Missing Shannon had seemingly vanished on her walk home from swimming in February 2008, with her mum Karen Matthews crying on camera appealing for the safe return of her daughter. After 24 days of searching, investigators found her bound and heavily drugged in a drawer in a grotty council flat just a few miles from where she had supposedly disappeared from. Mick Donovan had kidnapped the schoolgirl with Karen in an attempt to claim a £50,000 reward for her return, even trying to extort money from the Find Madeleine McCann fund. Detective Constable Nick Townsend was part of the team of detectives who spent sleepless nights trying to locate missing Shannon. But recalling the moment he saw her for the first time, he revealed the team feared she was close to being seriously harmed by Donovan. He said: 'When the lady who lived in the flat below heard the tiny footsteps of a toddler coming from Donovan's flat, I said we need to get in here. 'We made a determined effort to rouse him to get him to come to the door, but he wouldn't answer. 'My fear was then that he knew that we were here. Could he be doing any harm to whoever was in there or to himself, knowing the game was up?' With the help of the Operational Support Unit, officers were able to force their way into the council flat, finding the 'bewildered' schoolgirl beneath Donovan's bed. Speaking on documentary The Hunt for Shannon Matthews, Nick added: 'You could hear a lot of banging and crashing, smashing of woodwork. 'I went up the staircase and as I got to the top, my colleague appeared from inside the flat carrying Shannon in his arms saying, 'I found her, I found her, under the bed'.' Karen was jailed for eight years, while Shannon was given a new identity and removed from her family's care. Dovonan was also jailed for eight years and was disowned by his family following the plot, and died in prison in April 2024 reportedly not having a single visitor in the last few months of his life. He had insisted he was 'only looking after' the terrified schoolgirl that people 'would understand' why he kidnapped her if he was allowed to share his side of the story. Israeli minister confronts long-imprisoned Palestinian leader face to face
Marwan Barghouti is serving five life sentences after being convicted of involvement in attacks at the height of the Palestinian uprising, or intifada, in the early 2000s. Polls consistently show he is the most popular Palestinian leader. He has rarely been seen since his arrest more than two decades ago. It was unclear when the video was taken, but it shows national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, known for staging provocative encounters with Palestinians, telling Barghouti that he will 'not win'. 'Anyone who messes with the people of Israel, anyone who murders our children, anyone who murders our women, we will wipe them out,' Mr Ben-Gvir said in the video. He repeated those words in a post on X in which he shared the footage. Mr Ben-Gvir's spokesman confirmed the visit and the video's authenticity, but denied that the minister was threatening Barghouti. Barghouti, now in his mid-60s, was a senior leader in President Mahmoud Abbas's secular Fatah movement during the intifada. Many Palestinians see him as a natural successor to the ageing and unpopular leader of the Palestinian Authority, which administers parts of the Israeli-occupied West Bank. Israel considers him a terrorist and has shown no sign it would release him. Hamas has demanded his release in exchange for hostages taken in the October 7 2023 attack that triggered the war in the Gaza Strip. In a Facebook post, Barghouti's wife said she could not recognise her husband, who appeared frail in the video. Still, she said after watching the video, he remained connected to the Palestinian people. 'Perhaps a part of me does not want to acknowledge everything that your face and body shows, and what you and the prisoners have been through,' wrote Fadwa Al Barghouthi, who spells their last name differently in English. Israeli officials say they have reduced the conditions under which Palestinians are held to the bare minimum allowed under Israeli and international law. Many detainees released as part of a ceasefire in Gaza earlier this year appeared gaunt and ill, and some were taken for immediate medical treatment.
