Glamorous presenter breaks silence after being branded ‘vulgar'
Italian presenter Eleonora Incardona has broken her silence after being called 'vulgar' by a critic.
The glamorous DAZN star was one of several presenters who were criticised by Valentina Maceri for her choice of outfits, The Sun reports.

Incardona, 34, starred for DAZN Italy during the broadcaster's coverage of the Club World Cup in the US.
But Maceri was not impressed as she said: 'Incardona mainly presents the betting odds.
'And she does it very sexy. Sometimes vulgarly.'
The criticism came after she published her new book: 'F*** Female Empowerment: The Great Mistake of Modern Feminism.'

But Incardona has refused to change her ways, having broken her silence on the criticism.
During an interview with Global Networker, she said: 'Style is clearly part of your personal and professional identity.
'How does fashion empower you in high-stakes, male-dominated environments like sports broadcasting? Fashion is my language.
'It helps me express who I am and feel confident, even in male-dominated or high-pressure environments.
'I never give up my femininity — on the contrary, I use it as a strength.
'When you feel good in your skin, you're ready for anything.'

Maceri is not the only person to take exception to the outfits worn by Incardona.
Fashion expert and stylist Sonja Grau has described a recent black dress of Incardona's as unsuitable for the 'business' world.
The presenter shared a video of herself wearing the bold dress and doing keepy uppies pitchside.
She told Bild: 'It doesn't make a serious impression.
'This is perfectly acceptable in leisure time, depending on the situation – for example, at the beach or a lake.
'But Ms. Incardona was in the business world and that's not professional in any way and has nothing to do with style.
'Bare midriffs and that low neckline don't belong in the office either.
'It's fine in her free time, but everyone has to decide for themselves what they want to score with.'
Incardona stunned fans multiple times during the Club World Cup with her outfits.
One instance was when the law graduate and former model went braless in a slinky dress for one match.
Colleague Diletta Leotta was also the target of some of the criticism by Maceri.
The blonde bombshell is a firm fan favourite on the screen with her near 10 million followers on social media.

Brutal twist after Taylor Swift's celebrity romance
Don't miss out on the headlines from Hook Ups & Break Ups. Followed categories will be added to My News. Bad blood indeed. Matty Healy's mum, Denise Welch, isn't over the 'heartbreak' her son endured after his short-lived romance with Taylor Swift ended — that's why she couldn't stay quiet on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday. 'It's a horrible thing to have the most famous person in the world saying that your son broke her heart when it was the other way around, and then you can't even defend yourself,' a source told Us Weekly on Saturday. They added, 'She's saying the mother-in-law stuff because that's where Matty thought it was headed. She's entitled to her opinion.' Reps for Welch and Healy did not immediately return Page Six's request for comment. When asked by Andy Cohen what she thought of Swift's Tortured Poet's Department album — purported to be about The 1957 frontman and his romance with the singer that lasted only about a month in May 2023 — Welch declared that 'not being her mother-in-law is a role that I am glad that I lost.' Swift and Healy were spotted together in NYC in 2023. Picture: Robert Kamau/GC Images His mum made her position on the relationship very clear recently. Picture: WWHL As the audience gasped, the Celebrity Big Brother UK star, 67, quickly added that she doesn't 'have anything against [Swift] at all,' and called the situation 'tricky.' 'She — listen, you're not allowed to say anything, and then she writes a whole album about it,' Welch said of the Love Story hitmaker. Us Weekly's insider said it's been difficult for Welch to keep quiet when it comes to her son's former romance. 'Any mum can imagine what it would feel like — but then you have to multiply it by a million because of how famous [Taylor] is,' they told the outlet. 'I wish I could say she's used to it, but she's not.' She's now in a relationship with Travis Kelce. Pictures: Killatrav/Instagram The source also said that the reality star 'is still Matty's mum at the end of the day, and it was bloody hard for her to stay quiet during the whole ordeal.' 'Now that time has gone by, she's saying what she can because she knows that her son got hurt.' The insider asserted that 'you can't blame a mum for standing up for her child,' and called their split 'terrible' for Healy. Swift, 35, has since gone on to a widely publicised relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, while Healy, 36, is engaged to model and actress Gabbriette Bechtel. On Watch What Happens Live, Welch insisted the family has 'moved on' from the alleged drama. 'He is very happy with his amazing fiancee Gabriella, who is gorgeous,' she said. Club World Cup final: Cole Palmer stars as Chelsea thrash PSG 3-0
Cole Palmer scored two goals and made another as Chelsea stunned Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the Club World Cup, beating the European champions 3-0 at the MetLife Stadium to win the first edition of FIFA's new competition. PSG were the favourites for a game attended by Donald Trump after coming to the United States fresh from winning the UEFA Champions League and having destroyed Real Madrid 4-0 in the semi-finals. But having been three goals ahead midway through the first half in the semis, this time the roles were reversed as PSG found themselves 3-0 down by the break. Palmer opened the scoring midway through the first half and struck again to make it two on the half-hour mark, before taking advantage of passive defending to set up Joao Pedro for the third on 43 minutes. A bad day for PSG was summed up when Joao Neves was shown red following a VAR review four minutes from the end for pulling Marc Cucurella by the hair off the ball. Cole Palmer celebrates scoring Chelsea's second goal in the Club World Cup final. Picture: Getty Images It was a scoreline that few could have predicted as Chelsea capped what has been a long but memorable season -- they are the first ever winners of the 32-team Club World Cup having also won the UEFA Conference League and finished fourth in the Premier League. They will also take away around $125 million in prize money, meaning the prospect of a drastically curtailed summer break before returning for next season will surely feel worth it. For PSG, meanwhile, the financial rewards are similar but there will be genuine disappointment at falling short of adding this title to their Champions League triumph and French league and cup double. Nevertheless, conquering Europe was always the main aim this season for Luis Enrique's team, who now have exactly a month to digest this and take a holiday before returning to action in the UEFA Super Cup against Tottenham Hotspur. There was a real sense of occasion at the MetLife Stadium, with the backdrop of the Manhattan skyline and with President Trump in attendance along with First Lady Melania Trump in a crowd of 81,118. There was even the first-ever half-time show at a FIFA tournament, adding a Super Bowl feel to a final played at the home of NFL sides the New York Giants and New York Jets. As for the football, for the second time in six weeks PSG found themselves involved in a final that quickly turned into a one-sided affair. The club claimed a historic 5-0 win over Inter Milan in the Champions League final, but here they were ripped apart by Chelsea on another hot afternoon. Palmer almost put Chelsea ahead inside the opening 10 minutes, before PSG should have scored at the other end only for Desire Doue to try to pass to Achraf Hakimi rather than shoot inside the box, allowing Cucurella to block. Cole Palmer lifts the FIFA Club World Cup trophy after Chelsea's stunning victory. Picture: Getty Images It was Chelsea who struck in the 22nd minute as Malo Gusto got the better of Nuno Mendes down the right before seeing his shot blocked by Lucas Beraldo. The ball came back to Gusto and he teed up Palmer to finish into the bottom-left corner. Palmer has been the face of Chelsea on billboards in the United States during the tournament and he lived up to his star billing by scoring again on the half-hour. Released on the right with PSG left-back Mendes out of position, Palmer advanced towards the box before stroking a low shot into the same corner. Joao Pedro played a part in the build-up to that goal and the Brazilian, signed during the tournament from Brighton, then got his name on the scoresheet to make it 3-0. Scorer of both goals against Fluminense in the semi-finals, he clipped a shot past Gianluigi Donnarumma after being supplied by Palmer. PSG had conceded a single goal in their previous eight matches and they never really looked like producing a comeback, even if Neves headed just wide in first-half stoppage time. Substitute Liam Delap almost got a fourth for Chelsea midway through the second half, before Neves was shown red to complete a bad day for PSG.

Iconic film starring Keira Knightley confirmed for a sequel, 23 years on
Don't miss out on the headlines from Upcoming Movies. Followed categories will be added to My News. IN LONDON More than two decades after the original, another Bend It Like Beckham is on the way. Director Gurinder Chadha has confirmed she is working on a sequel to the hit 2002 film, which starred Keira Knightley and Parminder Nagra. It will be released in 2027 in honour of Bend It Like Beckham's 25th anniversary and also to coincide with the FIFA Women's World Cup in Brazil. Bend It Like Beckham was a major box office success. Chadha told the BBC she'd received requests for a follow-up 'almost twice a week' since the release of the original, which was made on a $7.2 million budget and became a box office hit, making around $120 million worldwide. 'We've been part of changing the game for women, so it felt like this was a good time for me to go back and investigate the characters,' she explained. It's not yet clear whether the new instalment will be a film or TV series, but Chadha said she hoped to reunite some of the original cast members. The original film starred Nagra and Knightley. The sequel is expected to be released in 2027. Bend It Like Beckham followed the story of Jess (Parminder), a British teenager from a traditional Sikh family who dreams of being a football star amid pressure to follow to settle down. Jess befriends Jules (Knightley) and is recruited into the local women's team, where she struggles to keep the secret of her growing dedication and passion to the game from her family. It's not yet known which cast members might return. Chadha hinted that she'd been thinking about a sequel back in 2023, when she told The Mirror that for 'the longest time' she had avoided the idea. 'But I have to say, after the World Cup this year, and also with the Euros a few years ago, my brain is ticking again and I have an idea in my head that I'm thinking through for the first time, she told the publication. 'I'm thinking that I could definitely do something. I never wanted to follow the girls off in America, because I felt that what I had created was so magical for that moment in time. 'It's very hard with sequels – there are very few sequels that I think really hit the mark after the success of the first film. 'However, I do have an idea and I am starting to work on it, so I think I will definitely do something that shows how brilliant our athletes are right now.'
