Katy Perry halts concert to call out fan for messaging Orlando Bloom; threatens to remove him: ‘He don't want you'

Indian Express21-05-2025

Katy Perry left fans stunned during her Saturday night concert at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, when she suddenly broke character mid-performance to address a fan directly from the stage. The packed crowd erupted as the pop icon paused her Lifetimes Tour set, crouched down dramatically, and stared pointedly at one audience member.
'I know why you're here,' she said, locking eyes with a fan named Kyle, who has been allegedly texting actor Orlando Bloom, Perry's partner. 'Listen, if you keep DM-ing my man … you've been doing it for months, ever since the residency. You didn't come to see me play.'
The crowd roared with laughter and cheers as Perry said, 'If you keep on DM-ing my man I'm going to have you removed – seriously, get your own life.'
She didn't stop there. In a moment that has now gone viral online, she delivered a fierce message: 'He don't want you, Kyle. I'm his wife. I'm his, he's mine … stay the f**k away.'

But what seemed like a raw, unscripted confrontation turned out to be part of the act. Perry used the moment to segue seamlessly into her next track, I'm His, He's Mine, her 2024 single that's become a fan favorite.
While the playful drama thrilled the audience in Nevada, Perry's ambitious 84-date Lifetimes world tour hasn't been smooth sailing. Though she packed arenas across Australia earlier this year, her shows in the United States have struggled with ticket sales, with several venues reportedly falling short of full capacity, according to the New York Post.
Her tour's production design has also drawn criticism online, with some calling the visuals 'cheap' and lacking the flair fans expect from a star of her calibre.
Adding to her recent challenges, reports surfaced that Perry won't be returning for another stint in Las Vegas, following backlash from her controversial Blue Origin space flight in April – a high-profile, all-female mission that included Gayle King and Lauren Sanchez but received mixed reactions from the public.

Ajay Devgn backs eight-hour shifts for mothers amid reports of Deepika Padukone's exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's ‘Spirit'

Actor Ajay Devgn backed the 8-hour shifts for mothers amid reports of Deepika Padukone's exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film Spirit. The film has been in the news lately after reports claimed that Deepika decided to walk away from the project due to certain working demands, including a request for an 'eight-hour workday.' While this sparked debate online, actor Ajay Devgn seems to have spoken in support of Deepika at the trailer launch of Maa, an upcoming horror film that stars Kajol in the lead. When asked about his views on the demands for an 8-hour shift, Devgn, without taking names, said, 'It's not that it's not going down well with people. Most of the honest filmmakers will not have problems with it. Apart from this, being a mother and working for eight hours, most people have started working eight-to nine-hour shifts.' 'It's person to person, and I feel most of the industry understands this,' he added. Earlier, Deepika was expected to star opposite Prabhas in Spirit, a film backed by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures. The film is helmed by Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The makers confirmed that actress Triptii Dimri, who was also seen in Animal, has joined the cast of Spirit. Just a couple of days back, Vanga took to his X and dropped a fiery post. Though he did not name anyone directly, many believe Vanga was referring to Deepika Padukone, who reportedly stepped away from the project recently. There is an unsaid NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) between us. But by doing this, you've 'DISCLOSED' the person that you are.'

Make America Tweak Again: This Trump Family Member Is Inspiring A Cosmetic Surgery Craze

Last Updated: Dr. Norman Rowe said he has seen a noticeable uptick in patients asking for facial features similar to Ivanka Trump. A growing number of plastic surgery patients in the United States are requesting cosmetic procedures inspired by Ivanka Trump's appearance, according to prominent surgeons in New York and Florida. Dr. Norman Rowe, a board-certified plastic surgeon operating in Manhattan, the Hamptons, and Palm Beach, said he has seen a noticeable uptick in patients asking for facial features similar to Ivanka Trump. 'We're seeing as many as 15 clients a day in Palm Beach wanting the 'Ivanka look,'" he told the New York Post, referring to high cheekbones, full lips, wide eyes, and smooth, wrinkle-free foreheads- a combination some now refer to as the 'Mar-a-Lago Face." The demand isn't limited to younger patients as Norman noted that older clients often reference Kristi Noem, the South Dakota Governor and US Secretary of Homeland Security, as their aesthetic benchmark, praising her polished public appearance. While certain features can be replicated, Norman Rowe cautioned that results depend on a patient's existing facial structure. advetisement 'If someone says, 'I want her lips or nose,' we can work with that," he said, adding, 'But there are physical limitations. You can't completely transform someone's face if the base isn't there." Dr. Mark Epstein, a dual board-certified surgeon in New York City, reported a similar post-pandemic trend, particularly after the 2024 assassination attempt on Donald Trump. 'There was a noticeable increase in business and confidence," Mark Epstein said, linking the aesthetic trend to the growing visibility of Donald Trump-aligned public figures. Surgeons say the phenomenon reflects a cultural shift in aspirational beauty within certain political and social circles. Norman Rowe said, 'You go to Palm Beach or the Everglades Club, and you see it — a group of people who want to look polished, youthful, and visibly aligned with a certain lifestyle."
