Cambridgeshire Police said there were no other injuries in the incident which happened close to Stibbington.Det Sgt Craig Wheeler said: "This was a shocking collision which has resulted in a man losing his life and my thoughts are with his family and loved ones."We would like to hear from anyone who still hasn't spoken to officers who saw the crash or has dashcam footage of it."

Man charged after car 'rams bus stop and fells lamppost'
Officers were alerted to a crash on Main Street in Renton at around 4.50am this morning. The force says a Skoda Octavia has reportedly collided with a bus stop on the road, allegedly causing damage to the stop and a street light. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.50am on Friday, August 1, 2025, police were called to a crash on Main Street, Renton. "The crash involved a single vehicle, a Skoda Octavia, which collided with a bus stop, causing damage to it and a street light. No one required medical assistance. "The 39-year-old driver of the car has been charged with alleged road traffic offences."

Man in court charged with death by dangerous driving in Swafield
A 54-year-old man has appeared in court charged with causing the death of a teenage cyclist by dangerous driving. James Durham, 54, of Goodwin Road, Mundesley, appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court on Friday.
