Jennifer Aniston and Selena Gomez celebrate Galentine's Day with Rare Beauty and LolaVie
The Morning Show executive producer, 55, and Emilia Pérez star, 32, joined together with their beauty firms, LolaVie and Rare Beauty, to co-host an inspiring Galentine's Day event at the San Vicente Bungalows in Los Angeles on Wednesday, February 5.
The celebrities, dressed all in black, talked candidly about their lifelong friendship while interacting and taking pictures with a small group of women.
Regarding Aniston, Gomez said, "I've known Jen for over a decade now, and she's someone I've always looked up to... she's always been there for me," during the celebration. She also revealed that Rare Beauty's new Soft Pinch Matte Bouncy Blush would be available for early access to those in the United States and Canada in late March.
"It's nice to have people in your life who can just be there and hear you out and [give] me great advice," said Gomez.
Aniston and Gomez are said to "sister-mother each other equally as best as we can." Aniston also plans to release a Peptide Plumping Volume Spray for her LolaVie line.
The Friends star spoke briefly on the recent fires in the Los Angeles area during their welcome comments, becoming tearful as she considered the "really hard couple of weeks" for the community.
"I hope that everyone is secure and doing well. "It's been difficult," Aniston remarked.
Later in the evening, Aniston and Gomez made fun of their common friend Paul Rudd before heading to the screening room to watch Clueless.
Aniston mockingly remarked, "We felt his career is having a little bit of a dip... thought it would be good to just remind everyone who Paul Rudd is," in reference to the film they had chosen for the evening. He "still looks the same age as he did when I met him."

Gomez, who co-starred with Rudd in the 2016 film The Fundamentals of Caregiving and later appeared alongside him in Only Murders in the Building, joked, "I've kept him good, but then I send him back to you."
In 2015, Gomez first talked about her relationship with Aniston, telling KTU that they were able to bond because they shared management teams.
Gomez claimed that Aniston was an influence on her as a child. "It was kind of like a friendly meeting, and instantly she's, like, inviting me to her house," Gomez added. She's really kind and cool, plus she has a pizza oven. She sort of gives me a lot of advice that sounds like it comes from a mother.

Before Selena Gomez... Stars who launched their own perfumes. - Jordan News
Before Selena Gomez... Stars who launched their own perfumes. A time full of emotions and success is what superstar Selena Gomez is currently experiencing. Her brand is entering a new chapter with the launch of its first fragrance, Rare Eau de Parfum, following her 33rd birthday celebration on July 22 and her upcoming wedding to fiancé Benny Blanco. اضافة اعلان The new fragrance from her brand Rare Beauty is set to be released on August 7. Gomez shared that the perfume reminds her of some of her best memories, as she was developing it during her engagement celebration and her 32nd birthday last year. She considers it a part of herself, saying: 'It feels like a part of me, and I want everyone to enjoy it.' The launch of the fragrance—created by perfumer Jérôme Epinette—marks a new chapter for Rare Beauty, building on the success of its body care line and expanding into the world of perfumery. The fragrance is described as warm with a hint of spice. Its top notes include caramel, pistachio, and pink pepper; its heart reveals vanilla, ginger, and cocoa beans; and it finishes with a base of sandalwood, tonka bean, and suede musk. It's also designed to evolve over 12 hours, striking a balance between comforting familiarity and unexpected depth. Gomez explained that she 'wanted to create a fragrance that evolves with the moment,' adding that it transitions seamlessly 'from a quiet morning at home to a night out with friends.' The bottle was designed for ease of use and developed in collaboration with hand therapists to feature a comfortable pump for user-friendly application. This reflects Gomez's continued focus on inclusive and accessible beauty tools. Rare Eau de Parfum will also be available with four layering balms: Amber Vanilla, Floral Peony Blossom, Fresh Bergamot, and Woody Oak. These balms are designed to personalize the fragrance experience and allow users to adapt the scent throughout the day. Rare Beauty is known for its cruelty-free, plant-based formulas and mission-driven philosophy. As part of this launch, the brand has pledged to donate 1% of global fragrance sales to the Rare Impact Fund, which supports youth mental health initiatives. With that in mind, let's revisit a list of celebrities who launched their own signature perfumes or created them through their brands, achieving remarkable success: Elizabeth Taylor – Passion In 1987, Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor pioneered the celebrity fragrance trend by launching her first signature scent, Passion, in collaboration with Elizabeth Arden. The fragrance was a massive hit and even led to a men's version. Just four years later, in 1991, she released her other iconic perfume, White Diamonds, which remains popular to this day. Taylor went on to launch nearly 20 fragrances. According to her autobiography, she earned more from her fragrance line than from her acting career. Jennifer Lopez – Glow by JLo In 2002, Jennifer Lopez released her first signature fragrance, Glow by JLo, in collaboration with Coty. It marked a major moment in the modern celebrity fragrance wave and became a best-seller in the U.S., generating over $100 million in sales by 2005. Jennifer described the scent as 'clean, fresh, and sexy, focusing on sensuality.' Created by perfumers Louise Turner and Catherine Walsh, the fragrance blended citrus and light florals with warm musk. It opened with orange blossom and pink grapefruit, followed by jasmine, rose, and tuberose, ending with musk, sandalwood, orris root, amber, and vanilla. Beyoncé – Heat In 2010, Beyoncé entered the fragrance world with her debut scent Heat, which quickly became a fan favorite thanks to its bold fruity sweetness balanced with warm amber and musk. Created by Claude Dir and Olivier Gillotin, the perfume featured soft, floral notes meant to captivate. Its top notes included peach, orchid, magnolia, and orange blossom. The heart revealed almond, honeysuckle, and musk, while the base blended amber, tonka bean, and sequoia wood. The red, curvy bottle was inspired by the female silhouette, reinforcing the theme of sensuality. Paris Hilton – Paris Hilton for Women Known for her love of glamour and beauty, Paris Hilton launched her first perfume in 2004: Paris Hilton for Women. Created by perfumers Steve DeMercado and James Krivda, it became a popular choice among young women. The scent combined fresh fruity-floral notes, making it ideal for vibrant summer days. Key notes included melon, apple, peach nectar, jasmine, lily of the valley, tuberose, ylang-ylang, sandalwood, and oakmoss. Lady Gaga – Lady Gaga Fame In August 2012, global star Lady Gaga launched her own distinctive fragrance, Lady Gaga Fame, known as the first-ever black perfume—its liquid appeared black in the bottle but sprayed on clear. This 'from black to transparent' technology was developed exclusively for the scent. Unlike traditional perfumes with top, middle, and base notes, Fame used a "push-pull technology" of three harmonious accords: Dark: Belladonna, saffron, and incense Sensual: Apricot and honey Bright: Tiger orchid and jasmine This multi-note system allowed all scent elements to evolve simultaneously on the skin, creating a unique fragrance experience. Notably, Fame sold 6 million bottles in its first week, becoming the second fastest-selling fragrance in history (after Chanel No. 5), and by early 2013, had sold over 30 million units, generating more than $2 billion in revenue. Ariana Grande – Cloud Pink In 2023, Ariana Grande released Cloud Pink, an extension of her Cloud fragrance line. Described as joyful and optimistic, the scent was designed to evoke beauty and strength. It opens with bright fruity notes of pink pineapple, dragon fruit, and berries; the heart reveals vanilla orchid and coconut water; and the base features purple moss, amberwood, musk, and praline for a soft creamy finish.
