The loved-up couple got engaged in 2024, and they've recently relished the experience of planning their wedding together.
Shaun, 38, told People: "It's very exciting to have new aspirations and new things that we're going after and together. It's very humbling and very exciting, and she's excited.
"We've gotten a lot of advice from different people who have planned their own weddings and things. So we're definitely gathering information and now trying to see what's going to work best for us in any way."
Shaun has actually had "fun" planning their big day, and their "next chapter" as a couple.
The former Olympian shared: "It's like you took that next step and yeah, it's just a fun sort of planning phase of life.
"Like, 'What's the next steps, and the next chapter and where do we want to be?' It's fun. It's fun to have somebody to plan all that with."
The celebrity duo are currently on the lookout for a wedding planner, to help them with their preparations for their big day.
Shaun hopes that the planner can ultimately "bring [their] ideas to life".
The retired sports star said: "We're still just looking for a planner to plan the wedding.
"I'm not capable of this and luckily, like, I want to be involved, but logistically I'm not, it's not my strong suit. So I think visually I'm getting involved with what I want, but we're still looking for someone to help bring our ideas to life."
Nina and Shaun began dating in 2020, and the couple announced their engagement in October 2024.
Nina previously revealed to Vogue magazine that they got engaged in New York City in late October.
Recalling Shaun's proposal, the 36-year-old actress confessed: "I went into shock. I just froze and stared at him."
Shaun - who is a three-time Olympic gold medallist in half-pipe snowboarding - popped the question with a five carat diamond ring. Shaun actually managed to catch his fiancee by surprise.
Nina - who previously dated Ian Somerhalder, her former 'Vampire Diaries' co-star - recalled: "He said all the right things."

Scott Wolf breaks silence on divorce from estranged wife Kelley Wolf
Don't miss out on the headlines from Hook Ups & Break Ups. Followed categories will be added to My News. Scott Wolf is accusing his estranged wife, Kelley Wolf, of conspiring to make 'disturbing, false' claims about him amid their messy divorce battle. The Party of Five star broke his silence on his split from the former Real World star, saying his ex conspired a plan to accuse him of 'psychological abuse, child abuse, child endangerment, stealing with passports.' While he previously chose to keep this 'difficult' time in his family's lives 'private,' he told People in a statement published on Saturday that he's now speaking up to protect 'the well being of (his) children.' Scott Wolf broke his silence on his contentious divorce from Kelley Wolf, accusing her of conspiring to make false allegations against him. Picture:'I am now choosing to come forward and share that she has described to me her plans to 'make claims' about me, although she also admitted, 'I do not believe they're true,' in order to gain an advantage in what she sees as a 'battle' in court, and in the court of public opinion,' Wolf said. 'In order to protect my kids, I am providing the text messages she sent to me where she describes this plan, so there are no questions about her intentions, or the malicious intent behind her false allegations made and/or planned for the future.' The outlet went on to report that Kelley, 48, alleged in the messages that she 'was advised to make claims that are possible, even though I do not believe they're true nor would I ever say them to anyone'. In a statement, the actor alleged Kelley told him her plans to 'gain an advantage in what she sees as a 'battle' in court'. 'When you accused me of all the things you put in the restraining order, you made me into a villain. The only way I can fight back is to produce claims that are either the same as yours or greater,' she continued. She also detailed that her aim was to 'create more urgency to get the kids back. Or at least get back joint custody'. Kelley ultimately shared her allegations against Wolf on a phone call with police on June 26, according to the outlet. 'Although her claims are completely baseless and incredibly dangerous, the worst part is that they are traumatic for our children,' the 57-year-old continued in his message. In text messages, Kelley alleged she 'was advised to make claims that are possible, even though I do not believe they're true'. 'I hope that anyone who might speak publicly or report on such things, will consider this before spreading any further information from a clearly unreliable and completely compromised source.' He closed, asking for 'privacy and respect for our family' and thanked 'all those who have shown their love and support'. A representative for Kelley did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment. As some may recall, Kelley was shockingly detained and hospitalised after police were called to the Wolf family's Park City, Utah, home in June after a reported 'family fight'. An audio recording of the 911 call showed an unidentified woman claiming she was 'terrified' and 'needed help' after getting into an altercation with her brother-in-law and 16-year-old son. Wolf with his Party of Five cast mates Neve Campbell, Matthew Fox and Lacey Chabert. At the time, someone at the scene also mentioned an alleged 'past-occurred assault' choking incident that purportedly took place at their home in March. The scene transpired shortly after Scott filed for divorce on June 10. After his filing, Kelley later made another bombshell claim on social media that she was 'held against her will' by her former friends while she was 'trying to file for divorce.' Later that month, Scott was granted sole custody of their three children — Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11 — and a temporary restraining order against his estranged wife which he later dropped after they reached a new temporary agreement detailing custody, finances and communication. Jennifer Holland has 'very little' work-life balance in marriage to DC chief James Gunn
Jennifer Holland admits there isn't much work-life balance in her marriage to DC boss James Gunn. The 37-year-old actress reprises her role as Emilia Harcourt in the second season of her husband's TV show Peacemaker and says that her spouse's responsibilities at the studio can be all-consuming. Jennifer told People: "I've not been, in any way, upset or judgemental with James, but I know that his number one focus right now at this time in his life has been taking on this opportunity that he has at DC with 100 per cent full force. "I think he's doing that with just every ounce of his being, and he wants to make sure that it's everything that the fans could hope for." Jennifer explained how James, 59, is doing his best to put the wishes of the fans first with his stewardship of DC alongside Peter Safran but knows that he is "always going to disappoint some people". She said: "But if anyone could get a little piece of an insider view of what it's like, he just wants to do the characters justice, and he just wants to give it what it deserves for all of these people who've lived with these characters in these comics that they've been reading (and) the characters that the created in their brains and everything. "He's very committed to making it the best that he's able to make it." Holland stars alongside John Cena in Peacemaker and is very complimentary of the WWE legend, who plays the titular character in the series. She said: "We're all just doing our best to service the story, and so it was just an incredible experience, "I couldn't have asked for a better, more professional partner than John in this whole ride from season one to season two, honestly." James and Jennifer got married in 2022 in Aspen, Colorado, with the ceremony attended by guests including Guardians of the Galaxy stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana and Karen Gillan and interrupted by a moose. The filmmaker wrote on X - then known as Twitter - at the time: "This weekend I was lucky enough to marry my best friend the love of my life, @jennlholland. "We got married here in Aspen, Colorado at Dunbar Ranch. A moose interrupted the beginning of the ceremony! For those who don't know, moose are the most dangerous wild mammals in North America. But the big dude just wandered by. @MatthewLillard yelled out, 'It's James' Dad!'"

Sophie Turner found intimate scenes with Kit Harington 'vile'
Sophie Turner and Kit Harington were "retching" through their intimate scenes in The Dreadful. The pair - who first starred together as half-siblings Sansa Stark and Jon Snow in eight seasons of Game of Thrones between 2019 and 2019 - iappear together in the upcoming gothic horror and while they were both excited about the project, Kit's fears that their romantic scenes would be "weird" for them both to film proved to be true, with Sophie admitting the "vile" experience of getting close to someone she views as a brother was a career low point. Speaking on Late Night with Seth Meyers, she said: 'I'd just got the script for this amazing gothic horror called The Dreadful, and I was reading through all the characters. 'And I'm producing it, so the director was asking me, 'Who do you think?' And immediately, the first person I thought of was Kit. 'And so, I sent the script to Kit, and he kind of sent me a message back going like, 'Yeah, I'd love to, but this is going to be really f***ing weird, Soph.' And I was like, what is he talking about? "Then I was reading it, and I'm like, 'Kiss, kiss, sex, kiss, sex scene.' And then I'm like, oh shoot, that's my brother. But it's such a good script that he's like, 'We kind of have to do it.' 'So, then we put it out of our minds, and then we get on set, and it's the first kissing scene. And we are both retching, like really, it is vile. It was the worst, another really bad moment in my career.' The 29-year-old actress previously acknowledged that viewers would probably find it "weird" to see her and Kit play lovers. Speaking in a video interview with Vogue, she said: "I did a movie last year which I'm really excited about with my old but very good friend Kit Harington, who played my brother on Game of Thrones. "We're doing a gothic horror… but we play lovers." Sophie then grimaced as she apologised to viewers. She said: "Sorry, guys. It's really weird for all of us." Game of Thrones featured incestuous relationships and Sophie had previously teased "things could happen" between Sansa and Jon, particularly after his true parentage was revealed, but she admitted she would find it awkward. Speaking in 2016, she told Access Hollywood: "Things could happen, things couldn't happen. They are cousins and it is Game of Thrones. "I could not do that with Kit. There's no way I could do those kind of scenes with Kit— I'd laugh way too much."
