460 grievances received in Anantapur
Assistant Collector Sachin Rahar, District Revenue Officer A. Malola, Special Deputy Collectors Tippa Naik, Ram Mohan, Mallikarjunudu, and Mallikharjun Reddy, as well as Civil Supplies DM Ramesh Reddy, were among those who assisted in receiving petitions.
Addressing the gathering, Sharma instructed officials to prioritize and resolve grievances submitted through the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, MPs, MLCs, MLAs, and directly via PGRS without any delay. He stressed that there should be no negligence in addressing public issues and directed departments to ensure time-bound resolution.
He further emphasized that officials must conduct field inspections, verify details, and complete inquiries to ensure that petitioners are fully satisfied with the solutions provided within the stipulated deadline.
The petitions covered a variety of public issues from across the district. Officials from multiple departments, including Deputy Collector Anand, CPO Ashok Kumar, DMHO Dr. E.B. Devi, Housing PD Shailaja, PD DRDA Shailaja, DTC Veerraju, DVEO Venkataramana Naik, Mines DD Adinarayana, DWMA PD Saleem Basha, and others, participated in the programme.

Dhenkanal: Urban transformation can be realised not only by construction but by proper communication of transforming waste materials into wealth, said Usha Padhee, Principal Secretary of Housing and Urban Development department. Delivering a special lecture-cum-workshop on 'Governance, Urban Transformation and Role of Public Communication,' at IIMC auditorium, Padhee said government has introduced several schemes and Mukhyamantri Shahri Yojana for the benefit of people and media should play a pivotal role to disseminate information about welfare schemes. Public communication should promote awareness for inclusion of more eligible people to avail government schemes, she said. Urban transformation can come about through recycle and reuse of waste materials into wealth, Padhee said, adding that the State government is taking steps to use plastic materials for construction of road with support of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). 'We cannot check rapid growth of urbanisation, but rural areas should also get urban amenities,' she said. Padhee advised media students to prioritise unbiased reporting to win public trust. In reply to questions of students, she said use of advanced technology has helped in reducing corruption. In response to request of IIMC Regional Director Anand Pradhan, Padhee announced internship facility in departments of Housing & Urban Development and Transport for students of Corporate Communication and Brand Management. Pradhan and Prof Mrinal Chatterjee sought Padhee's consent for training at departments of Housing & Urban Development and Transport for students of Odia and English journalism.

CM Revanth Reddy asks officials to prepare plans for allocation of Bhudhaar numbers
HYDERABAD: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday instructed officials to prepare a detailed plan for allocation of Bhudhaar numbers for lands across the state. During a review meeting he held with the officials of the Revenue and Housing departments at the Command Control Centre here, the chief minister enquired about the status of the applications received during the recently held revenue meetings and instructed the officials to develop a mechanism for speedy completion of mutations and registration of inherited properties. The surveys conducted by the licensed surveyors and the scrutiny of reports was also discussed at the meeting. The officials were ordered to complete the scrutiny process expeditiously with the help of regular surveys. The officials briefed the chief minister about the plans to construct integrated sub-registrar offices. Revanth reviewed the design of the 10 new sub-registrar offices to be constructed soon in the Core Urban Areas. He suggested that facilities like parking, canteen and other basic infrastructure be provided at these offices for the convenience of visitors. The CM stressed that these offices should be people-friendly. Indiramma houses inauguration soon When officials informed him about the completion of Indiramma houses in several districts across the state, the CM instructed the authorities concerned to make arrangements for their inauguration by the end of August. He also asked officials to resolve the problems in the joint venture projects taken up by the Housing Board in Hyderabad. Make grand arrangements for I-Day fete, Collector directs officials
Anantapur: In-charge District Collector Shiv Narayan Sharma has directed officials to make grand arrangements for the 79th Independence Day celebrations to be held on August 15 at the Police Parade Grounds, Anantapur. Accompanied by AR ASP Ilyaz Basha and Assistant Collector Sachin Sahar, the Collector inspected the ongoing arrangements and participated in police parade rehearsals. He announced that as per the State government's directions, the celebrations will begin at 9:02 am. with the unfurling of the national flag by Finance, Planning, Commercial Taxes and Legislative Affairs Minister Payyavula Keshav, a resident of the district. He urged the public to participate and make the event a success. Officials were instructed to complete all arrangements by Thursday. ensuring a patriotic atmosphere. Tasks include stage decoration, police, NCC, and Home Guard parades, flag-hoisting arrangements, protocol adherence, security, invitation distribution, uninterrupted power supply, seating, drinking water, sanitation, traffic management, parking, barricading, mobile toilets, medical first-aid camps, and the PTC band. Awards of appreciation will be presented to those who rendered exceptional services. The Collector also directed departments to set up exhibition stalls showcasing state welfare and development schemes, and to organise cultural programmes by school students promoting national unity. All activities must be coordinated between revenue, police and other departments to ensure smooth execution from the start of the programme until the national anthem. The inspection was attended by forest, revenue, housing, health, agriculture, R&B, and other department officials, NCC cadets, police personnel and students.
