Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift hit a big ‘turning point' in their relationship
And that has been a big boost for their relationship, one source told People, calling it a 'turning point for their relationship' and that the couple is 'incredibly happy and in sync.'
'There's a calmness and ease to their relationship right now that's been really grounding for Taylor and Travis,' the insider told the outlet.
Kelce concluded his 2024 NFL season when the Chiefs fell to the Eagles in the Super Bowl in February after Swift wrapped up her Eras Tour a few months earlier in December, which has made the past few months some of the first time the couple has had to themselves.
The two have kept a lower profile during the slower-paced time, though they have started to step out into public view a bit more recently.

'Taylor and Travis are soaking up every minute of this slower season together,' the source said. 'They've been splitting their time between New York, Nashville, and a few quiet getaways, just enjoying each other's company without all the usual chaos. This kind of downtime is rare for both of them, and it's really allowed their bond to deepen.'
Last month, Kelce and Swift appeared at Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final in Florida, drawing plenty of eyeballs to the couple as they watched the Panthers and Oilers duke it out.
And, less than two weeks ago, the loved-up pair enjoyed a surprise date night in New York as they were seen at the swanky Nolita restaurant Torrisi.

Swift and Kelce have been spotted out at various hot spots around Manhattan and the country since they went public with their relationship in 2023, but the 'guy on the Chiefs' pushed back on any notion that they step out together purely for the attention.
'We're having fun with it, being a couple,' Kelce said during a recent episode of 'Bussin' With The Boys.' 'It gets thrown out there that we're trying to seek attention now and then, and we're just enjoying life, having fun, going to hockey games, kind of introducing her to some more of the sports world that she hasn't really [seen]… [Stanley Cup] was fun, man.'
The NFL season is rapidly approaching, and the source told People that Swift was 'really looking forward' to the upcoming season, especially with the past struggles of managing time to see Kelce and traveling for her world tour.
'This fall will be completely different,' the person said. 'It's the first season where she's not constantly flying back and forth or working around an entire touring calendar.

'The past two seasons were a whirlwind between performing across multiple countries, long flights, and trying to squeeze in alone time together wherever possible.'
Swift only appeared at Chiefs games played in Kansas City last season, aside from her presence at the Super Bowl.
In 2023, Swift was a large presence during the season and appeared at a number of games on the road, including a game at MetLife Stadium against the Jets on Oct. 1, 2023 in a suit that included stars Sabrina Carpenter, Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Hugh Jackman, Sophie Turner and Shawn Levy.

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been named the best quarterback in the NFL by one outlet. That has not consistently been the case so it is worth noting when it happens. Certain media outlets have not named Allen the top QB in the NFL currently, nor the best player overall, despite his 2024 NFL MVP Award. The Draft Network ranked the top-12 quarterbacks in the NFL heading into the 2025 season and Allen landed at the No. 1 overall position. Who was after him? Here is the full list from TDN: 12. Broncos' Bo Nix 11. Cowboys' Dak Prescott 10. Jets' Justin Fields 9. Cardinals' Kyler Murray 8. 49ers' Brock Purdy 7. Buccaneers' Baker Mayfield 6. Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes 5. Bengals' Joe Burrow 4. Matt Rhule believes NFL experience will help in new college football landscape
The new approach to college football will make it more and more like pro football. Which, in theory, provides an advantage for college football coaches with pro football experience. Nebraska coach Matt Rhule, who spent two-plus seasons as head coach of the Carolina Panthers, believes his time in the NFL will help him when it comes to shaping a college roster in an era of players getting paid. Via Shayni Matra of Rhule made his case in a recent visit to Greg McElroy's podcast, Always College Football. 'I think the biggest thing you learn when you're in the NFL is really evaluation,' Rhule said. 'Before, in college football, it was like, 'Yeah, he's a good player, let's offer him, let's take him.' You get to the NFL, they're all good players. It's just, 'Hey, what's the financial value we put on this person and put on this position?' Every year in the NFL, you go through free agency, and you see teams walking away from it with really good players because of their contract situations.' One key difference comes from the inability, under the current college system, to manipulate the available spending by carrying dollars over from one year to the next. 'The smart teams in the NFL carry money over and position themselves through the years,' Rhule said. 'But that discipline, I think, is something that's really, really unique. It's hard because you get to know the players. You want to take care of everybody.' One goal of the House settlement is to balance out the dollars. Rhule hopes that will lead to parity. We'll believe it when we see it. With the money now flowing freely, the programs that have the most will always find a way to get it to the players, directly or indirectly. Then there's the thing that you were probably thinking earlier and that probably goes without saying. But I'll say it anyway. Given that Rhule was 11-27 in 38 NFL games, does it make sense to put much stock in his NFL experience making a positive difference at Nebraska?

Rams players reveal their summer reading lists ahead of 2025 season
Summer is a great time for catching up on books you've always wanted to read, and NFL players are no different. ESPN's Tim McManus asked a few NFL players what books they were reading this offseason, including Los Angeles Rams defensive backs Quentin Lake and Ahkello Witherspoon. While their answers weren't as ridiculous as some (Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle Leonard Williams is reading "War and Peace" by Leo Tolstoy), the duo still offered interesting reads for the summer. Lake is reading two books: "Outliers" by Malcolm Gladwell and "The 48 Laws of Power" by Robert Greene. "I like ['Outliers'] because it kind of shows you that if you grow up or if you're in a certain type of environment, it can really allow you to thrive," Lake told McManus. "Now, '48 Laws of Power,' I like that book a lot because it gives you rules. Now you don't take it literally, but there are certain things you can look at and it's like, 'Hey, how can I use my position that I'm in right now as an advantage to either elevate myself or get myself out of trouble?'" Witherspoon, meanwhile, is reading "James" by Percival Everett and "All the Light We Cannot See" by Anthony Doerr. Lake and Witherspoon will be two of the most important players in the Rams' secondary this season. L.A. didn't add any new pieces to the unit in the offseason so far between the draft and free agency and also didn't acquire Jalen Ramsey in a trade. Hopefully, the duo will learn enough from their reading to take their games to the next level in 2025.
