The former TOWIE star, 37, received a suspended jail sentence earlier this month after he was arrested for pushing Nicoline down some steps at their Spanish home. A two-year restraining order is in place meaning he's banned from contacting her.
The former Miss Sweden, 32, suffered several injuries to her neck, arms, hand and leg in the assault.
Now, court papers obtained by The Sun show James - who raked in £5,000-a-week last year - was only required to pay Nicoline a shockingly low £250 in damages.
The court report reads: 'During the argument, and with the intention of harming her physical integrity, he grabbed hold of her tightly by her arm and pushed her causing her to fall down the stairs.

'The injured woman suffered several bruises to her neck, a bruise to her right forearm, several abrasions to her right arm, and abrasions to her right hand and on her right leg.
'The injuries she suffered healed in seven days on skin and soft tissue.'

According to The Mirror, James arrived looking glum-faced but was soon working the room with punters prior to his set where he was overheard telling them he was 'feeling good and looking forward to getting on stage'.
The TV personality also shared a video on his social media, looking in very high spirits while dancing and singing with the crowd.
He was welcomed on stage by the owner of the venue, former TOWIE star Elliot Wright, who spoke of their 'many trials and tribulations', the publication claims.
Elliot, cousin of Mark Wright, said: 'We've been through so many trials and tribulations - when I got burnt down, he was there for me. He's been there for me and that's what friendship is - that's how I was brought up.
'You stay strong together no matter what happens. I just want to say I love you - you're one of my best friends - so get up here and make it a proper party. As the crowd broke out into cheers, Argent hugged Elliot before beginning his set.'
James recently thanked his friend and colleague Albie Davies for being 'by my side' following the row with the Swedish beauty queen.
The media personality took to his Instagram Stories on Thursday and shared a photo of himself with fellow singer and musician Albie who he regularly performs with.
Alongside the snap, James promoted their latest gig: 'Lucky to have @albiedavies by my side the next 2 days @olivias_la_cala tonight'.
James' ex-girlfriend Nicoline, 32, a former Miss Sweden, was left with cuts and bruises to her neck, arms, hand and leg, The Sun reported.
The injuries sustained in her fall were listed in a new court filing.
Nicoline was left with bruising to the neck and right forearm and multiple cuts to her right forearm, hand and leg.
Prosecutors were reportedly pushing to charge James with wounding, which carries a jail sentence of up to nine months.
However, the ex-reality star eventually agreed to the lesser offence of mistreatment as part of a plea deal.
James was handed a six month suspended sentence and a restraining order that prevents him from contacting Nicoline for a two year period .
The court report says: 'During the argument, and with the intention of harming her physical integrity, he grabbed hold of her tightly by her arm and pushed her causing her to fall down the stairs.

The attack took place at the couple's beachfront home in the early hours of May 5, reportedly following a dispute about Argent's friendship with ex-girlfriend Lydia Bright.
James was reportedly seen flinging clothes belonging to Nicoline from the balcony of their home before aggressively escorting her to the front door.
She was then allegedly pushed down some steps in front of the couple's house before falling on the concrete patio.
Nicole received treatment from medics at a nearby hospital, while James was arrested shortly after midnight.
The suspended sentence means James could still face a jail sentence if he reoffends - and he also has to attend a 10-week-long domestic violence course.
The pioneering programme, known as Regener@r, will require him to listen to the testimony of domestic violence survivors and is designed to help men create a new, less toxic form of masculinity.
James was branded 'shameless' after sharing clips laughing and singing on stage with his band at The Wickers Charity Ball in London in the wake of his suspended jail sentence.
Having returned to the UK last week, James flexed his musical side as he returned to Instagram to post snaps of his performance at the fundraising event .
James, who over the years has struggled with weight issues and cocaine addiction, has previously suffered two near-fatal drug overdoses as he battled against his demons.
But the Essex star has been alcohol and drug free since 2022, prioritising rehabilitation, clean living and maintaining a healthy weight after having gastric band surgery.
He has spoken in the past about struggling with the pitfalls of fame, including loneliness, shame amid his eating disorder, and being thrust into the public light after starring on reality series TOWIE.
Fans questioned whether James's behaviour was sparked by a return to his wild drug and alcohol abusing days, which saw the reality favourite spend several stints in rehab.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, James confirmed he is still sober and the police incident was not triggered by a relapse.
James said: 'I haven't relapsed. I am still three years and four months clean and sober. I am devastated by what's happened.'

During a 2020 interview with OK Magazine James discussed how his drug addiction started, saying: 'I was going to nightclubs around the age of 18…
'I would hear of some of my friends experimenting with drugs, but it wasn't until I first started TOWIE that I was getting booked up for nightclub appearances up and down the country most nights of the week, I was drinking, and I started doing drugs more and more.
'My friends and family recognised that I was having a problem and an addiction about a year and a half into TOWIE.'
He also shared how his romantic relationships have suffered in the past as a result of his addiction, including with ex-girlfriend and former TOWIE co-star Lydia Bright.
James said: 'When Lydia broke up with me it was a shock and the pain I was going through with the heartbreak, I started using drugs heavily to escape the feelings and the pain as well as with the insecurities with how I looked on television.'
The singer had been in a relationship with model Nicoline for nine months before the violent incident occurred over the May Bank Holiday weekend.
An eyewitness told MailOnline that James was heard 'yelling' before forcing the former Miss Sweden out of her apartment door in Spain, which caused her to fall down some steps.
James pleaded guilty to charges of domestic violence and has been handed a two year restraining order meaning he will be jailed if he contacts Nicoline, who onlookers claimed looked 'severely hurt' following the attack.
The witness, who did not want to be named, told of how they heard a loud commotion from the Costa del Sol property, which James shared with Nicoline, and has now recalled watching the 'brutal' row unfold.
They said: 'We were out walking our dogs when we suddenly heard an aggressive man yelling. We saw him throwing objects from the terrace of a nearby house. We were frightened by his shouts.
'Then, the door of the house opened, and the man threw a women out and she fell down the steps, causing her to scream. We couldn't believe what we were seeing. She was severely hurt and cried out for help.'
It's understood that James 'continued to throw things' as Nicoline 'lay injured' on the steps.
The eyewitness continued: 'The situation escalated quickly, and we were scared and unsure of what to do. Another woman arrived to assist the injured woman, who was lying helplessly at the foot of the steps. At that moment, the man slammed the door and fled.
'Within moments, concerned bystanders had gathered to help the woman, and the police arrived swiftly.'
The witness said Nicoline 'appeared to be physically and emotionally devastated.'
'We were in utter shock,' they continued, adding that they were later told Nicoline's mother had arrived and taken her to hospital.
'This woman deserves justice; she was left utterly devastated. We have never seen anyone so emotionally hurt as she was.
'What we witnessed was a brutal act of abuse... there were many witnesses and bystanders who helped Nicoline during the incident.'
After tumbling down two steps, Nicoline's screams alerted neighbours to the incident, who then informed the police. She is understood to have needed hospital treatment.
James was arrested shortly after the incident in La Cala de Mijas and was kept in police cells for several hours before being dragged in front of a court in nearby Fuengirola.
During the hearing he admitted a domestic violence charge, with an insider telling The Sun the couple's nine-month relationship is now over. He was handed a two-year restraining order which prohibits him from being within 250 metres of Artursson.
Nicoline was in court to hear Argent admit the charge where he was handed a six-month suspended sentence. Argent was also told to a complete a 'resocialisation course in the field of gender violence'.
Speaking about how James is now, a friend told the Sun he is 'extremely sorry', saying: 'He said he had a row with Nicoline and that he tried to end the argument.
'James said he pushed Nicoline and that she fell. He is remorseful about what happened but is insisting he never meant any harm.'

‘Status, hierarchy, cool – none of it matters': Dinosaur Pile-Up's frontman on the chronic illness that changed his life
In recent years, when asked how he was feeling, Matt Bigland's default response was to shrug and say: 'I've felt better.' Those three small words hardly graze the surface of the trauma the Dinosaur Pile-Up frontman has endured. He became ill in 2019 with what was initially diagnosed as Crohn's disease, later corrected to ulcerative colitis. At one point, he suffered internal bleeding, and at another, he was covered in sores. His body changed in ways that made it unrecognisable, from rapid weight loss to what he calls 'moon face' – when the face becomes puffy and round owing to fat redistribution and fluid retention – as a side-effect of receiving a huge dose of steroids when doctors were unsure how to proceed. In February 2021 he admitted himself to hospital. 'I didn't have any power – physically and spiritually – and that was horrible,' he says. 'I was super vulnerable. I didn't feel like me and I definitely didn't feel like the dude in the band that everyone knew.' The wider world had no idea of this, particularly as Bigland was keeping off social media. Everyone still just knew him as the frontman of a beloved band known for tearing up large rooms with swaggering alt-rock that was big-hearted and tongue-in-cheek. Forming in Leeds in 2007, they had released four albums and done support slots for British rock heroes from Twin Atlantic to You Me At Six while garnering a loyal fanbase of their own. Until he shared his story on social media in December 2024, some fans assumed the band had broken up. They hadn't released an album since 2019's Celebrity Mansions, and that was made after a tumultuous period when they were broke, burned out and had no label. Bigland was also trapped in what he describes as a toxic relationship. 'That was such a pressurised kind of situation, and [it went on] for way too long as well,' he says. 'I'm almost certain that the outcome of that was me getting sick.' After his prolonged health difficulties, which also involved him shielding as Covid-19 took hold, he pondered quitting music, but: 'I had songs … I wanted to write more,' he says. 'I love what we've created as a band, and we have such an amazing community. It felt really sad to just throw that away.' As he regained his strength, he and his bandmates regrouped to write a new album, naming it I've Felt Better in honour of what he had survived. It bottles the feverishness of a man desperate to get back to what he loved, but Bigland says that above all, it had to be fun. 'I don't want to moan about all this stuff. There's some sadder, more introspective parts of the album, but there's also a lot of frustration I wanted to get out into super fun party songs. It was interesting trying to find a way to articulate my frustrations in a way that made people still want to headbang.' And in one way, his life had become massively better. He connected with Brazilian punk singer Karen Dio online in 2020 and the pair quickly fell in love, speaking every day even when Bigland was struggling. 'It wasn't hard,' he says of sustaining their relationship. 'The fourth time we spoke on the phone, I knew we were going to get married. It was so strange and so intense – that cliche of people being like, 'When you know, you know', but it was annoyingly true. Karen became the motivation. When I was in hospital, I was like, 'I've got to just fucking figure this out and get out of here, because Karen's here.'' At his worst, he would look at a photo of an engagement ring on his phone. They eventually married in April 2022. There are still challenges ahead. Bigland will soon enter his most intensive period of touring since he became ill, both with Dinosaur Pile-Up and as a live guitarist for the band Dio. A significant chunk of his touring budget is saved for the expensive Chinese medicine that has proved the most effective way for him to manage his symptoms. 'With autoimmune conditions, fatigue, stress and bad diet are all complete no-nos – yet that is what touring is,' he says. 'I have to be really careful. I'm going to figure it out.' The ego death he experienced in his hospital bed still rings true. There, no amount of music industry politics or Spotify listeners had any meaning. 'Nothing actually matters. The only thing that matters is time with your loved ones. It's not status or hierarchy or what's cool or what's not or material items or anything like that. It's about time with the people you love,' he says. 'I learned about resilience, and I was schooled in that pretty hard. Sometimes it's not about the biggest show of strength, or the most visible show of strength. It's about just quietly getting through something.' Mark Goldbridge's YouTube channel win rights to show top-flight matches this season in landmark shared deal with Gary Neville's The Overlap
Manchester United YouTuber Mark Goldbridge has landed rights to broadcast top flight matches during the 2025-26 season. Goldbridge, whose real name is Brent Di Cesare, has risen to fame on social media through his coverage of United in recent years. The content creator has built a large following by delivering a series of viral moments during his United watch-along sessions for each match on 'The United Stand'. Another YouTube channel 'That's Football' features watch-alongs involving other clubs, as well as reacting to major stories from across the sport. Goldbridge's offering is set to increase further having been awarded rights to broadcast a selection of Bundesliga matches this season. His channel and The Overlap, which features Gary Neville, Roy Keane and Jamie Carragher, have both been included as Bundesliga broadcast partners. The two channels will share live matches throughout the season, which will be shown in watch-along formats. 'That's Football will stream 20 live Bundesliga matches on Friday nights as well as creating 34 weekly shows in 25/26 – the first creator channel with official league rights,' a statement from 'That's Football' read. 'A landmark deal putting That's Football alongside Sky, BBC and Amazon in the Bundesliga UK strategy.' Their involvement is in addition to the BBC having free to air rights to Friday night matches for the next two seasons, which will also be shown on the Bundesliga's own YouTube channel. Sky Sports will reportedly continue to show the Bundesliga's Saturday evening fixture and matches between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, while Amazon will have rights to all their Sunday matches. Goldbridge's involvement, however, marks the first time a content creator has been awarded broadcast rights to a top European league. His staggering earnings were revealed last year, with accounts on Companies House revealing that his five companies had £4,039,957 in the bank between them as of the end of 2023. This represented a £1.2million increase on the same figure a year earlier. The companies are not big enough to require full, audited accounts to be published, but he enjoyed a successful year while United struggled on the pitch. His 'The United Stand' channel boasts 2.15million subscribers on YouTube and claims to be the biggest Man United fan media outlet in the world, while 'That's Football' has 1.38m subscribers. Goldbridge had previously been accused by former Man United defender Paul Parker of 'causing problems' at the club, who also claimed the content creator is a Nottingham Forest fan. 'I don't like what Mark Goldbridge is doing,' Parker claimed in 2023. 'It's a problem. Everyone has to make a living but you have to be very, very thick skinned to make money off the back of something you don't like. 'He has no relationship to Man United, he is a Nottingham Forest fan. It's an incredible skill to do that, actually… to make money on the back of something you don't like. 'He is attacking the club, the manager and the owners of a football club that you don't even love. He has no inner feeling with the club and it's a scary but incredible feeling to have to be that invested in a club that you don't support.' Alejandro Garnacho also landed himself in hot water after liking one of Goldbridge's X posts in April when the YouTuber accused Erik ten Hag of 'throwing a 19-year-old under the bus' for taking him off at half time against Bournemouth. Garnacho was reprimanded for his behaviour, but Ten Hag was happy to 'move on' from the incident after the forward apologised. Meanwhile, Rasmus Hojlund's decision to do an interview with The United Stand back in February sparked a backlash, with Mail Sport exclusively revealing that Goldbridge was sent death threats in the aftermath.
