Brother of Great British Bakeoff star Paul Hollywood 'attacked' while walking dog on Wirral

Great British Bakeoff judge Paul Hollywood has appealed for witnesses after his brother was allegedly attacked in a "nasty and unprovoked assault" while walking his dog.
The TV chef's sibling, Lee Hollywood, was reportedly approached from behind by another dog walker who then 'punched him to floor' and 'kicked him in the face.'
Merseyside Police said the man had "became irate" after their dogs barked at each other.
Appealing to 670,000 followers on Instagram, the Paul Hollywood said: "If you have information regarding this attack on Friday night, the person in question who was attacked is my brother Lee."
The assault is said to have happened on Links View Playing fields, near Shackleton Road, in Leasowe, Wirral, at around 7pm on Friday, 8 August.
Lee, who is in his 50s, suffered injuries to his back and face and was taken to hospital for treatment, police said.
An investigation is underway and witness and CCTV enquiries are in the process of being carried out.
Detective Inspector Phil Ryan said: "This was a nasty and unprovoked assault which left the man needing hospital treatment.
