Brian McFadden and Kerry Katona 'will never be friends' after scathing comment

Daily Mirror09-07-2025
Kerry Katona was noticeably absent from her ex Brian McFadden's wedding last weekend after making a series of barbed comments about the Westlife star over the years
Last month, Kerry Katona said she wished she could still be friends with her ex, Brian McFadden - but that's never going to happen according to reports. The Atomic Kitten star, 44, was married to the Westlife singer, 45, for five years before they split in 2004 after welcoming daughters, Molly and Lilly-Sue.
Kerry, who was noticeably absent from Brian's wedding last weekend to Danielle Parkinson, has made a series of jaw-dropping comments about Brian over the years, including calling him a "s**t dad" and the "fat one in Westlife". And now, the dad-of-three is said to have had enough of her outbursts, with a source claiming Kerry has "burnt her bridges".

Speaking to The Sun, they said: "Kerry has burnt her bridges with Brian, thanks to years of speaking out of turn. She's got a heart of gold but a big mouth and that has always been her downfall.
"Kerry has a bad habit of not thinking before she speaks and it's landed her in hot water with Brian on many occasions. She'll say something publicly that is either outrageous or something she should have kept private between them and it gets her in trouble.
"There's been many times her girls have asked her to rein it in when speaking about their dad, they know better than anyone how it gets to him."

Last month, Kerry lamented the loss of her friendship with Brian, writing in her column for new! magazine: "I wish Brian and I could have stayed friends. Molly went to watch him at a festival last week and I would have loved to have gone with her. It would be great to have a better relationship.'
However, the mum-of-five hasn't held back when talking about her ex, when she claimed in a podcast in 2023: 'He was a s**t dad. I'm the one who provides for them..'

Meanwhile, in her most recent biography, Whole Again, Kerry claimed her daughters didn't have a great relationship with the Irish star, even suggesting her late third husband George Kay, was more of a father to Molly and Lilly.
'Brian's their biological dad, but he hasn't played that all important father figure in their lives growing up,' she wrote, adding, 'for all his faults, George was more of a dad to those girls than Brian ever was.'
Brian rarely speaks about Kerry and went to great lengths not to mention her last year's BBC documentary, Boybands Forever. In a toe-curling exchange, the interviewer asks him on camera: 'Marrying Kerry, you're sort of…' as Brian quickly interjects: 'I don't want to talk about her, no. Definitely no.'

'That really hurt Kerry,' the insider said. 'She made jokes about it but privately she was gutted that it was shown on national TV.
"She thinks he's embarrassed by her and she's probably not far wrong. But in his defence, she's not made it easy for him.'

Ibiza Final Boss Jack Kay reunites with barber behind unique haircut after going viral

Ali Kurbani, the master barber who created Jack Kay's iconic 'Ibiza Final Boss' haircut, has finally revealed exactly what the viral star asks for to achieve the quirky style The barber behind the world-famous 'Ibiza Final Boss' haircut has finally revealed exactly what Jack Kay asks for to achieve his iconic look. ‌ Ali Kurbani, the master barber at B&D Barbers in Blaydon, Newcastle, who created the signature style, has attracted attention from A-list celebrities and even inspired national ad campaigns. On Thursday, Ali welcomed Jack back into his chair before Jack heads off for another tour around Ibiza. ‌ Ali admitted he was surprised to see his work making headlines. It comes after the now infamous Ibiza Final Boss' girlfriend spoke out after his incredible haircut went viral. ‌ "I've been doing this job for a while, and this is incredible," he said. "We've been cutting Jack's hair for about 10 years and never expected this level of attention." READ MORE: BT warning for anyone who still has UK landline in their home Originally from Kurdistan, Ali explained that Jack has kept the same haircut for some time now. After much online speculation about the style - ranging from Robin Hood to a bowl cut or even a "short back and Battle of Hastings" - Ali finally set the record straight. ‌ 'To get this look, Jack asks for a medium skin fade with some length left on top,' Ali told The Sun. But the secret to the haircut's sharp, Lego-like shape lies in keeping the fringe crisp and well-defined at the front. At B&D Barbers, the 'Ibiza Boss' cut costs £26, though Jack, described by Ali as a 'very nice guy,' sometimes pays extra. Ali shared his excitement about the viral sensation, saying: "It made me really happy when I saw the video going viral, but it was definitely a surprise. ‌ "I'm so pleased about it all, and Jack is a great guy. It's wonderful to see this boost for our business, and I think he'll keep rocking the style." Jack returned to the barbershop on Thursday after his transformative trip to Ibiza. The reunion was emotional, with the pair celebrating the newfound fame of the Ibiza Final Boss haircut. ‌ Ali and Jack shared a warm embrace as the internet star walked back into the shop. The proud barber congratulated him, saying, "I saw what happened, congratulations!" Jack responded by telling Ali it was "crazy," as he got ready for a fresh trim. ‌ Jack went viral earlier this week after being filmed showing off his dance moves on the party island. Sporting a huge gold chain, sunglasses, Jack's unique haircut set him apart. Friends back in Lemington, Newcastle upon Tyne described Jack as a 'wheeler-dealer' in cars, and said he walks around town confidently sporting his quirky haircut, gold chain, and bright 'Turkey teeth'. ‌ "He thinks he's gorgeous," one told the Daily Mail. "He's not famous - he's a nobody. But now he's got a manager, so who knows what he'll be like when he's back home." His grandmother, Cynthia, said that she was a fan of Jack's haircut, saying: "I think it's alright, me. He is who he is. He's a happy-go-lucky lad. He's a nice guy." On Wednesday night, Jack, who has become known as the Ibiza Final Boss, addressed his new-found fame on Instagram, describing himself as 'just a normal person from Newcastle'. He thanked fans for their support, saying: "It's a lot to take in at the moment. Stay locked in, got some big news coming."

Emotional moment Katie Price broke down in tears after being banned from seeing daughter Princess on Ibiza holiday

KATIE Price has revealed the emotional moment she broke down in tears after being banned from seeing Princess on her Ibiza holiday. It comes after The Sun revealed the secret rift between the mother and daughter. 6 6 6 6 Daughter Princess, 18, is set to star in an ITV2 show titled The Princess Diaries. Katie has previously bashed those working with her daughter after The Sun revealed her secret heartache about being cut out of her TV show - and has vowed not to watch it. It now turns out that Princess was filming the show in Ibiza at the same time as her mum was on the party island. However, in a shock revelation Katie revealed that she bumped into Princess' film crew, but she wasn't allowed to see her daughter. Speaking on the latest edition of The Katie Price Show podcast, she revealed: "When I was in Ibiza, Princess was there in Ibiza, and I wasn't allowed to meet up with her. "But funny enough, I walked into a bar, and there was a group of people and it was the producer of her show, and they came up to me and said, we're producing the show. I burst out crying and this producer would know it, and said, 'I'm so upset'. ''It's my daughter. I want to be involved. But that side stops me.'" Continuing, she said: "I was in tears and I never cry. "She saw how upset I was and I could see that she was in a situation because she knows it's right that I should be seeing support in my daughter, and I'm not. "I don't know where it's going to go from here. Katie Price takes another savage swipe at ex Peter Andre and says Princess is 'scared to tell the truth' "But it's all right for them to not have me in the show, but I'm all right to be used for headlines for the show." It comes after The Sun revealed the secret rift between Katie and Princess. We revealed how Katie was left "devastated" when telly bosses told Princess to "distance herself" from her famous mum. Sources said producers deliberately cut the former glamour model out of forthcoming ITV2 show, The Princess Diaries, because it is 'not good for Princess to be seen with Katie '. In a bid to market the youngster as a pretty, middle-class influencer, they even turned down Katie's team's offer to film for free for three days. An insider previously told us: "Katie feels isolated and disregarded. "She loves Princess so much and is supremely proud of the young woman she is becoming. "But with all her expertise in the field, Kate obviously hoped to help steer her career — oversee contracts, advise her on press, that sort of thing. 6 'She has seen and done it all, and hoped to instil some wisdom and advice on how to handle fame. 'But ITV2 execs have made it clear they want nothing to do with her. "Princess has been advised to distance herself from her outspoken mum, and is perhaps too young and shy to defy orders." Also in the latest episode of The Katie Price Show, Pricey took a savage swipe at her ex Peter Andre - saying Princess is "scared to tell the truth". 6 The former couple were married from 2005 to 2009, welcoming two children together. Speaking on her podcast, she said: "She needs to have knock backs to know, work and appreciate the industry. I've tried to tell her this. "I think she's just too scared because she doesn't want to upset the management and all of that. "Everything they get her, I know I can get her and I wouldn't take a cut. It's all about money at the end of the day." Katie added: "I am fuming about the situation but at the same time I want Princess to do well and I back her in every way. "I need to just air what it is. It has become a serious situation - and the family, we're all fuming about it. "Not one member of our family or anything are involved in anything Princess does. Why? Because we're not allowed." Katie Price's love life We take a look back at the highs and lows of Katie Price's relationship history. 1996-1998: Katie got engaged to Gladiators star Warren Furman - aka Ace - with a £3,000 ring.
