WNBA fans rip into 'strange' Aliyah Boston question as Caitlin Clark steps in to 'save' teammate
By beating the Lynx in the final of the in-season tournament, the Fever took home a $500,000 prize.
And during an interview with Prime Video after the game, Boston was asked what she would do with her cash winnings.
Boston quickly answered 'that's for me to know' but couldn't get the rest of her response in, as Clark (who did not play in the game due to injury) playfully barged into her teammate and screamed on camera to celebrate the win.
Nonetheless, some fans were not thrilled with Boston being asked the personal financial question.
'That's a strange question. As if she's never had money before,' one said on X.

'Clark saved her Teammate from having to answer a personal question.... Every answer would have been wrong......,' another chimed in.
And a third asked: 'why is that the question?' with crying-laughing emojis.
Ultimately, Boston was in good spirits after she scored 12 points, hauled in 11 rebounds and provided six assists in her team's 74-59 win over Minnesota.
Natasha Howard also had 16 points, with five players in double-figure scoring in total.
Clark has been in and out of the lineup this season for the Fever as she's struggled with injuries.
First, she was sidelined for five games with a quad injury, which she returned from last month.
But she only lasted another five games on the court before being ruled out again with a groin issue, which has seen her out of her action since June 24.
Clark's numbers have also dipped from last year's Rookie of the Year campaign, as her three-point percentage has gone from 34.4 percent to just 29.5 percent.
Nonetheless, she was voted by fans as a captain for the All-Star Game, as she received the most votes alongside Napheesa Collier.
However, Clark wasn't held in quite the same esteem by her WNBA peers, as she finished just ninth in the player vote among guards.
Fans will hope she is healthy enough to compete in the All-Star Game on July 19.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship has hit a 'turning point'
The romance between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce has reportedly reached a 'turning point' as the singer and NFL superstar have spent plenty of low-key time together in recent months. A rare period of calm after Tayloe wrapped her worldwide 'Eras Tour' last December, combined with Travis being in the NFL's offseason since February, has given the lovely couple more time than ever together. That period may be coming to a close as training camp looms for the Kansas City Chiefs later this month. For now, the pair have elevated their relationship, per PEOPLE, with life as quiet as it can get for one of the most popular celebrities in the world and her beloved sportsman partner. 'It's been a turning point for their relationship in a lot of ways,' PEOPLE reported. 'They're incredibly happy and in sync. There's a calmness and ease to their relationship right now that's been really grounding for Taylor and Travis. 'Taylor and Travis are soaking up every minute of this slower season together. They've been splitting their time between New York, Nashville, and a few quiet getaways, just enjoying each other's company without all the usual chaos. 'This kind of downtime is rare for both of them, and it's really allowed their bond to deepen.' It has not been completely quiet for Taylor and Travis over the last few months, attending an event together for the first time as a couple several days ago. At the Tight End University event, the pair were clearly locked in on each other, including sharing some PDA in front of cameras. Taylor also regained control of her masters last month, a move to gain further control of her career, which has been years coming. 'Reclaiming her masters has been emotional and empowering,' PEOPLE reported. 'She's proud, relieved, and finally feels like a chapter has closed in the best possible way.' 'Having Travis by her side for that milestone made it even more special. He was honored to support her and he wouldn't have wanted it any other way.' Taylor has attended 23 NFL games since she started dating Travis, all while having touring commitments. 'Taylor is really looking forward to the upcoming NFL season,' PEOPLE stated. 'Not just because she loves supporting Travis, but because for the first full season since they started dating, she's not juggling a packed tour schedule.' 'This fall will be completely different. It's the first season where she's not constantly flying back and forth or working around an entire touring calendar. 'The past two seasons were a whirlwind between performing across multiple countries, long flights, and trying to squeeze in alone time together wherever possible. It wasn't easy but they made it work.' Last season, outside of the Super Bowl, Swift only attended Kelce's games in Kansas City. With more free time on her hands, and only seven chances to watch Kelce play not in Missouri, but in the United States, that may change as this 'turning point' has occurred.

Palmeiras' Estevao Willian urged to give next club Chelsea glimpse of his talent
Palmeiras coach Abel Ferreira has urged winger Estevao Willian to give his future Chelsea team-mates an early glimpse of his devastating talent. The 18-year-old is set to face the Blues in the Club World Cup on Friday night (2am Saturday, UK) in what could be his final match for the Brazilian side before moving to Stamford Bridge. The highly-rated Estevao agreed a deal to join Chelsea last year and will do so after his involvement in the current tournament in the United States ends. Ferreira hopes he can go out on a high and in the process help dump out Chelsea when the two sides meet in their quarter-final at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field. The Portuguese coach said: 'We, him and the club – everyone knew this could happen during the negotiations. Everyone knew he could play. 'I don't have to say anything. He knows what he needs to do tomorrow. He has to do his job. I hope he gives his best for the owners of Chelsea and they look at him and his potential and all the quality he has. 'It will be an opportunity for him to show how good he is. We will expect his best, the maximum in attack and defence and maybe he will score a goal to give a goodbye for our fans. 'We helped him to grow as a man and a professional. It could be a moment to give him a goodbye with one amazing game, maybe with one goal.' Ferreira has urged Philadelphia's sports fans to get behind Palmeiras for the July 4 encounter. He said: 'It will be a good opportunity for the locals to join with us against the English. Tomorrow it is Independence Day against the English. Join us, we need your support!' Tournament organiser FIFA has confirmed the match will be preceded by a minute's silence for Diogo Jota, the Liverpool forward who has died along with his brother Andre Silva, also a professional footballer, following a car accident in Spain. Ferreira, 46, who used to play for Silva's club Penafiel, said: 'This is very sad news. I would like to give my condolences to the family and friends of these two amazing athletes. 'I always tell my players we should live in the moment. We need to be thankful and enjoy life, as we never know what is going to happen tomorrow.'

Report: Jared Dudley to join Nuggets as top assistant coach
July 3 - Jared Dudley is leaving the Dallas Mavericks' coaching staff to join the Denver Nuggets as an assistant coach under David Adelman, ESPN reported Thursday. Dudley, who turns 40 next week, retired from the NBA in 2021 and immediately took on a role as an assistant coach with the Mavericks under head coach Jason Kidd. Dudley is expected to move into the main assistant role under Adelman, who was named interim head coach of the Nuggets on April 8 when head coach Michael Malone was fired. Adelman was named the full-time head coach on May 22 after Denver advanced to the Western Conference semifinals. In 14 NBA seasons with seven teams, including seven seasons with the Phoenix Suns, Dudley averaged 7.3 points with 3.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists over 904 games (286 starts). He won an NBA title in 2020 with the Los Angeles Lakers. This move is among others on the Mavericks bench. ESPN reported Wednesday that Frank Vogel, who was the head coach of the Lakers in that 2019-20 championship season, is becoming Kidd's lead assistant. In addition, ESPN said Dallas player development coach God Shammgod is moving to the Orlando Magic as an assistant coach. --Field Level Media
