Singapore Pools Toto jackpot snowballs to $10m after no winner for 28 July
The winning numbers on Monday evening were 2, 14, 16, 21, 36, and 47 while the additional number drawn was 1.
Singapore Pools revealed that there were five Group 2 winners for today's (28 July) draw with each winning ticket securing a tidy $121,727. The five Group 2 winning tickets were sold at:

What is Toto?
Toto was launched in 1968 as the first lottery game in the history of Singapore Pools. The game got its name from a combination of the words 'Totalisator' and 'Lotto'.
The current format of Toto sees six winning numbers and one additional number drawn from 49 numbers (1 to 49) every Monday and Thursday. The jackpot sum begins from $1,000,000.
A snowballing feature, which allows for the prize to increase if there are no winners, was introduced to the game in 1981. The System Entry option, where you can pay to be able to pick more numbers, was added later that year.

How big can the Toto prize snowball to?
The Group 1 prize amount will not snowball beyond the fourth consecutive draw. If there is no Group 1 winner at the end of four consecutive draws, the final jackpot amount (38% of the fourth draw's prize pool plus snowballed amount from the three preceding draws) cascades, i.e. it will be paid to the next prize group with winner(s) and shared equally.
Prize amounts for Group 2, 3, and 4 will snowball until it is won.
What are the largest jackpot prizes and winning shares in Toto history?
Statistics from Singapore Pools includes lottery draws from 9 October 2014 onwards when Toto was updated to the current 6-out-of-49 format. According to their data, the biggest jackpot prize was $19,416,913 which was drawn on 11 February, 2022.
The $19.4 million jackpot had eight winning shares which means the winning share amount worked out to over $2.4m each. A nice sum but nowhere close to the biggest winning shares in Toto history which came in at over $13m on two separate occasions. This happened first on 2 October in 2023 when a single winning share took home $13,077,918. In May last year, another lucky individual had the sole winning share of a very cool $13,123,509 jackpot.

Stockton's pot dispensary lottery goes up in smoke, only one store application OK'd
Stockton's marijuana dispensary lottery is going up in smoke after almost every application was deemed ineligible, except for one. Cannabis dispensary company Embarc says they are in the process of working with the city to grow its business into Stockton. Embarc has 17 stores across California. "We're excited to have won the lottery and be at this point," said Devon Wardlow, Embarc's vice president of public affairs. "We still have some work to do to go through as we have to go through the use process with the planning commission, so we're hopeful we'll make it through." The City of Stockton's cannabis application process was only open for a month in late spring, during which the city received four applications. "Only one (1) application was eligible to participate in the random lottery drawing. As a result, one (1) eligible application will be declared the lottery winner by default," the city said in a press release. The other three, however, were deemed ineligible. Embarc gave CBS News Sacramento access inside their Sacramento dispensary on Mack Road, one they say will be a model for the one that could hopefully open up in Stockton. "Stockton is really near and dear to our hearts because one of our co-founders is from the area. This is really full circle to be at this point where we've found a location," said Wardlow. The Stockton location is being kept under wraps, for now. But Wardlow says Embarc is different compared to other dispensaries because they contribute one percent of profits back into the community. "We are giving back over $2 million throughout the course of the business back into the community. This is an example of how cannabis retail can benefit the communities that we serve," Wardlow said. To go even higher, the company says they'll hire locally for what they say will be Stockton's first cannabis dispensary with a unionized labor force. "Real job growth and creation, these are not just jobs, these are career paths," Wardlow said. It's unclear why the other cannabis store applications were deemed ineligible. The next step is for Stockton's planning commission to look at Embarc's proposal. From there, it could be approved for groundbreaking or go to the city council for final say.

Disney's big Singapore ship is a big opportunity
Disney Cruise Line's expansion to a new region will not only expose new consumers to the cruise experience but to the Disney brand itself, CEO Bob Iger said during Disney's fiscal Q3 earnings call Wednesday. The Disney Adventure, Disney's largest cruise ship yet, will begin sailing from Singapore in December. At full occupancy, the ship is expected to accommodate between 6,000 and 7,000 guests. In comparison, Disney's Wish-class ships have a capacity for about 4,000 passengers. "This will give us an opportunity to float the Disney brand in all of its glory into a region that we think has a huge Disney brand affinity," Iger said. In addition to the Adventure, the Disney Destiny (Disney's third Wish-class ship), will debut in November in Fort Lauderdale. The newest ship currently sailing, Disney Treasure, has "gotten off to a strong start and continues to perform well," Disney wrote in prepared executive remarks Wednesday. The Treasure began sailing last December. "Forward bookings look great, and we're running at very high occupancies," CFO Hugh Johnston said. Disney Cruise Line is about half booked for 2026, he said, and the percentage is even higher for its newer ships. Domestic park spending rises Disney Cruise Line is part of the Disney Experiences division, along with the theme parks, hotels, Disney Vacation Club, the Adventures by Disney tour operator and consumer products. The segment performed well in the quarter with operating income up 13%, to $2.5 billion. Domestic operating income soared 22%, to $1.7 billion, driven by growth at theme parks, resorts and Disney Cruise Line. Disney attributed the bump to guests spending more at its parks as well as an increase in passenger cruise days from the Treasure. It also includes a $40 million benefit from the Easter holiday, which fell in the third fiscal quarter this year. Disney Experiences had higher costs, including about $30 million in pre-opening expenses related to the Destiny and Treasure ships. Another $50 million in pre-opening cruise costs is expected in the fourth fiscal quarter. Disney's theme parks, especially its domestic parks, are performing well. Executives pointed to two anniversaries and their accompanying in-park celebrations: Disneyland's 70th and Hong Kong Disneyland's 20th. Johnston said Walt Disney World compiled record revenue in its fiscal Q3. Asked if Disney's guest mix for domestic parks has been impacted by international visitation to the U.S. or the opening of Universal Orlando's Epic Universe in May, Johnston said there was "nothing material going on there." Disneyland Paris is also performing strongly, according to Johnston. Next year, a new World of Frozen land will open there. Disney has faced some headwinds in China, the CFO said, mainly because of reduced guest spending, not attendance.
