Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan's daughter Aaradhya is not on social media and doesn't have a phone — Here's why
and
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
's love story has long been one of Bollywood's most loved romances. In 2007, they tied the knot in a grand wedding ceremony that caught the eye of the entire nation. A few years later, they welcomed their daughter Aaradhya into the world, bringing even more joy to the Bachchan family.
Abhishek
showers praise on Aishwarya for raising Aaradhya
In a recent chat with Nayandeep Rakshit on his YouTube channel, Abhishek Bachchan opened up about how they are bringing up Aaradhya. He did not shy away from giving all the credit to
Aishwarya Rai
Bachchan for the way their daughter is being raised.
'I have to give the credit of everything entirely to her mother. I have the liberty and I go out to make my movies but Aishwarya does the heavy lifting with Aaradhya. She is amazing. Selfless.
I find it amazing. Just mothers in general, I don't think fathers have the ability to be as giving, maybe we are wired differently, we are more about going out, we have to do something, we have to work, we are goal-oriented. And to be able to say, 'No, this is my baby and this is my top priority for me,' I think it's amazing and it's a gift.
That's why possibly our go-to people are mothers. So for Aaradhya, yes, absolutely, the entire credit goes to Aishwarya.'

Aaradhya stays away from social media and does not have a phone
In a time when most youngsters are busy with Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat,
Aaradhya Bachchan
stands out. Abhishek revealed that their daughter is not on any social media platform and doesn't even own a mobile phone yet.
'She is not on any social media, doesn't have a phone also. I think she is brought up to be a very conscientious girl and I think that's also a testimony to her individually. I don't want to take away from her what she is personally.
She is who she is and she is turning out to be a wonderful little lady. She is the pride and joy of the family. So yeah, we are blessed. And at the end of the day, it's that happiness is coming home to a happy and healthy family.
That is so important,' said Abhishek.
Why Abhishek himself is less active on social media these days
It's not just Aaradhya who is staying away from social media. Even Abhishek Bachchan has become less active on platforms like Twitter and Instagram. In an interview with ETimes, he explained why.
"Partially yes, and also I feel currently, sadly, and I'm the first person who used to say if you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen but I just feel a lot of social media is just about baiting. It's not a place where you can have a healthy discussion. When it first started you could have a healthy debate or discourse with somebody. Now it's not that. I use it more professionally now."
What's next for Abhishek Bachchan?
Abhishek was last seen in 'Kaalidhar Laapata' and is currently shooting for 'King'. His father
Amitabh Bachchan
had even confirmed on social media that Abhishek had started work on this new film. 'King' is a much-talked-about project as it stars
Shah Rukh Khan

MAGA singer's Canada gigs cancelled: Backlash over Sean Feucht's anti-diversity views; organisers cite safety risks
Sean Feuch (Picture: Instagram) US singer Sean Feucht's permit to hold a concert at the York Redoubt National Historic Site in Halifax was cancelled this week by Parks Canada. Officials cited safety concerns following public backlash against his anti-2SLGBTQ+, anti-women's rights, and anti-diversity remarks on social media. Feucht, a religious performer with links to the MAGA movement, was scheduled to perform on Wednesday. His permits for other events in Charlottetown (P.E.I.), Moncton (New Brunswick), and some parts of Quebec were also revoked soon after. LGBTQ+ groups welcomed the decision. Cameron Cassidy, head of Pride P.E.I., said, 'The City of Charlottetown absolutely did the right thing by revoking that permit. It shows respect for the queer community.' But not everyone agreed. James Turk, director at Toronto Metropolitan University's Centre for Free Expression, said cancelling a permit over a person's views is dangerous. 'The foundation of democracy is public discourse, including ideas we disagree with,' he said. 'Censorship only amplifies such voices.' Feucht later performed at a private venue in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia, hosted by pastors Christine and Neil Barr. They said they faced hundreds of hate messages and some protests but went ahead with the show. In response to criticism, Feucht posted: 'If I had shown up with purple hair and a dress, no one would've cared. But my Christian beliefs are seen as a threat.' Opponents said his views go against Parks Canada's values of inclusion and safety. Turk countered that while physical safety must be ensured, 'a subjective feeling of being unsafe' isn't legal grounds to silence someone.
