YouGov names Emirates as ‘Most Recommended Global Brand for 2025'

rankings, becoming the only airline to feature in the global top 10 list.
The airline scored 88.4 per cent in recommendation rates, based on over one million customer surveys conducted across 28 markets between June 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025.
The rankings, powered by YouGov BrandIndex, measure the percentage of a brand's customers who would recommend it to others.
Emirates outperformed all other brands globally, reinforcing the reach and resonance of its 'Fly Better' brand promise.
'This recognition underscores the deep connection and loyalty we've built with passengers all over the world,' said Sir Tim Clark, president of Emirates Airline. 'We will continue to evolve our already exceptional experience and set new benchmarks in travel.'
Emirates: Key highlights this year
This year, Emirates expanded its network, introduced the A350 to 10 destinations, launched nine reimagined retail stores, and became the world's first Autism Certified Airline.
By year-end, Emirates plans to serve over 70 cities with next-generation cabin interiors across its Boeing 777, A380, and A350 fleet, and offer more than two million Premium Economy seats.
The airline previously topped YouGov's
UAE Recommend 2024
rankings and was named the most satisfying airline among US travellers in YouGov's US airlines report.
YouGov, a global analytics firm, bases its rankings on aggregated and weighted scores that reflect actual brand perception and loyalty across diverse demographics.

Dubai launches world's first human–machine collaboration classification for content transparency
Dubai has launched a series of icons to establish whether content is created by humans, AI or a combination of both. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation, approved the launch of the world's first Human–Machine Collaboration (HMC) classification system. The HMC system introduces a global framework designed to differentiate between the roles of humans and intelligent machines in the creation of creative, scientific, academic, and intellectual content. Dubai launches AI content classification The system applies to areas such as research, publishing, writing, design, and more. Sheikh Hamdan said: 'Distinguishing between human creativity and artificial intelligence has become a real challenge in light of today's rapid technological advances. 'This calls for a new approach to recognise the growing role of intelligent machines. That's why we launched the world's first Human–Machine Collaboration Icons, a classification system that brings transparency to how research documents, publications, and content are created'. He invited global stakeholders—researchers, writers, publishers, designers, and content creators—to adopt the new classification system and use it responsibly. All Dubai Government entities have also been directed to begin using the framework in their research and knowledge-based outputs. Developed by the Dubai Future Foundation, the HMC system provides visual icons to represent the degree of collaboration between human and machine in content creation. Air India completes inspection of fuel control switches on Boeing 787 planes: Reports
Air India on Wednesday announced the completion of precautionary inspections on the locking mechanism of the Fuel Control Switch (FCS) across its fleet of Boeing 787 aircraft and revealed that no issues were detected. According to Indian news agency ANI, the airline's Engineering team initiated the inspections over the weekend following a directive from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) issued on Monday, July 14. The checks were part of a broader safety compliance effort to ensure the continued airworthiness of the fleet. In addition, all Boeing 787-8 aircraft operated by Air India have undergone Throttle Control Module (TCM) replacements, as per Boeing's recommended maintenance schedule. The FCS is a key component of the TCM, and its inspection formed part of the overall system review. Air India reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of operational safety and ensuring full regulatory compliance across its network.
