I'm wise of this team, but to an extent, I don't think they're going to win a ton of games.

They're not the 2023 Texans.
They're not the 2024 command.
Where are you on the under 5, 5.5.
Where are you at?
I can see them getting the 6.
I mean just because there's there's soft spots in their schedule and but it's going to be close.
Like they might win 5, they might win 6.
There's going to be some coin flip game in there that determines it.
So I don't think they're going to be good, but I do believe in Cam Ward.
Like you talked about Charles, I think they get to the end of the season and they're like, we got a dude at quarterback.
Let's get to work building this roster.
And that's the difference between last year.
Last year I was like, uh, Will Levis, maybe he had some flashes, but, and it quickly fell apart there, right?
Obviously.
Cam Ward, I think, gives them hope for the future, and I think he's gonna play like that.
He has played well everywhere he's gone.
I like the fact that he was in 3 different programs in college and succeeded in all of them.
He's kind of from a zero star recruit to.
Number one pick of the draft.
I like that path for him.
He's already been on the bottom.
He's dragged himself to be, uh, you know, the again, the first pick of the NFL draft.
So I that that's the one thing.
The Titans roster really is not good.

They're a pretty boring team, trust me.
I've already written the preview.
It's not that exciting for the Tennessee Titans except a quarterback where I think that we're gonna feel pretty good about the trajectory of the Titans going forward because of that one dude.
I think Cam Ward's gonna have a really nice rookie season.
Another guy I thought real quick, one other thing too with the Titans.
And I only bring this up because somebody said it to me the other day, they were talking about, uh, like the, the Titans draft and well, a couple of different teams drafts or whatever.
And uh it was it was another personnel man, and he really liked the Texas tight end they drafted, Gunner Helm, like he was like, man, he's like, he's like, I think they might have actually gotten a dude.

And people are going to be stunned that that guy's gonna end up being a really great tight end in the NFL.
And I, I don't know why that just stuck out in my mind.
So maybe it's not just Cam.
Maybe, maybe it's, it's, it's Cam doing well, but also maybe it's a draft class where you're like, OK, they got a good draft class under their belt, like, this is how you do it.
This is how you start to build that foundation.
Uh, by the way, Gunner Holm, I drafted in one of my, uh, fantasy leagues when we did our one of our dynasty leagues.
Uh, I just drafted him.
I can't wait to tell this guy fits.
I know, and now he's gonna be feel reaffirmed.

Uh, so I thought the Titans were gonna be a top 3 pick in the draft last year.
I thought they were gonna suck.
I am in repeat on the Titans.
Uh, I don't, I haven't seen anything that makes me think that I should have a ton of faith in Callahan.
And if we're just being honest, you're right.
Frank, it's not a great roster.
It wasn't a great roster sometimes when F Vrabel just bootstrapped him and they still won football games.
I just don't have proof of concept to the head coaching position.
I think the most likely solution, I would take the under right now on the Titans.
I think a new coach next year from the now new GM is coaching Cam Ward.
I still think Cam Ward has a shot to be a very good player in this league.
I hope he does, but I, I think it's gonna be a different regime that brings him along.
Sorry, Titans fans.

Offensive lineman will finally get some love on the NFL awards ballot. Which Dallas Cowboys protector has the best shot at winning the award?
Offensive lineman will finally get some love on the NFL awards ballot. Which Dallas Cowboys protector has the best shot at winning the award? originally appeared on Athlon Sports. It's about time offensive linemen get some more notoriety around the NFL. Advertisement They play some of the most demanding positions on the field, but are hardly ever recognized appropriately. The league is hoping to change that with a new addition to the regular season awards ballot this year. Alongside mainstays like MVP and Defensive Player of the Year will be "Protector of the Year". The award will annually honor the season's best lineman and be voted on by a panel of former great O-lineman from across NFL history. Yes, only one lineman will receive the honor each season. With at least five playing regularly on each team ... that makes for a loaded competition pool. This encouraged Pro Football Network to highlight one player on each team who has the best shot at winning the award in its inaugural season. Advertisement To no surprise, the Dallas Cowboys lineman picked was left guard Tyler Smith. He was ranked the 11th-most-likely contender for the award across the entire NFL. "After the retirement of Zack Martin, the Dallas Cowboys' offensive line is Smith's group now," the article said. "He's been a Pro Bowler each of the last two years and should be in the mix for Protector of the Year, especially if the Cowboys' passing attack fares well with Dak Prescott throwing to the tandem of CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens." The names listed above Smith were Penei Sewell, Tristan Wirfs, Jordan Mailata, Creed Humphrey, Trent Williams, Rashawn Slater, Quinn Meinerz, Chris Lindstrom, Laremy Tunsil and Joe Thuney. Advertisement Dallas' first-rounder from 2022 has been nothing short of exceptional, starting every game he's been healthy for since joining "America's Team". At just 24 years old, Smith was acknowledged earlier this offseason as one of just two offensive lineman named to the top 25 under 25 list that showcases the league's best young talent. This season, Smith will look to lead a very inexperienced offensive line protecting QB Dak Prescott. The longest-tenured player in the projected starting lineup is five-year pro Terence Steele, with Smith being the next oldest. If he continues his exceptional play, not only will the Tulsa product be in the running to walk away with a new award, he could be expecting a major pay day in his rookie extension. Advertisement Winning the Protector of the Year award would go a long way in making that happen and solidifying Tyler Smith's odds of being the next great Cowboys lineman. Patriots Make Final Decision on Stefon Diggs After Viral Video Controversy
Patriots Make Final Decision on Stefon Diggs After Viral Video Controversy originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The New England Patriots are already facing a controversy with Stefon Diggs long before the star wide receiver has taken even a single snap for the franchise. Advertisement A video of Diggs on a yacht over Memorial Day weekend in possession of an unidentified and powdery "pink substance," which some have speculated may have been/contained illegal drugs, went viral following its release. That incident sparked questions about how one of the NFL's most storied franchises, known for its no-nonsense approach to the game, might handle discipline regarding the four-time Pro Bowler who just inked a $63.5 million deal to join the team as second-year QB Drake Maye's top target in the pass game. Former Houston Texans wide receiver Stefon Becker-Imagn Images Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel briefly addressed the issue in recent days, saying the franchise wouldn't litigate in public and that all decisions would be in-house and shared on a need-to-know basis. Advertisement Ian Rapoport of NFL Network on Monday, June 2, reported that New England had come to a final decision on Diggs' future with the team moving forward. "From The Insiders on [NFL Network]: The #Patriots have no plans to release Stefon Diggs," Rapoport wrote. "They have high hopes for him… and him showing up to OTAs was a good thing." Diggs is coming off of a torn ACL he suffered with the Houston Texans last season, which cost him nine regular season games as well as both of Houston's two playoff contests. Diggs has amassed nearly 10,500 receiving yards and 70 touchdowns over a 10-year NFL career. He will play the upcoming campaign at 32 years old. David Andrews 'wanted to finish' his career in New England and accomplished that
Longtime New England Patriots center David Andrews is retiring from the NFL. The Patriots said that Andrews, who spent all 10 of his seasons with the team before he was released in March, will retire at a news conference on Monday. "I didn't want to go do it for another organization," an emotional Andrews said during his retirement ceremony at Gillette Stadium on Monday. "That wasn't what I had in mind to finish my career. I wanted to finish it here, and I did." An undrafted free agent from Georgia, Andrews started 121 of 124 regular-season games he played in and also played in 12 playoff games. He also played in three Super Bowls, winning two, and was the last remaining offensive starter from the Patriots' 2018 championship team. Andrews, 32, missed the entire 2019 season after blood clots were found in his lungs. He also had his 2024 season cut short after a shoulder injury that required season-ending surgery. After Andrews' injury, Ben Brown started 10 games at center. But, the Patriots went out and acquired veteran Garrett Bradbury to start at center ahead of the 2025 season.
