
Organising Committee of UAE President's Cup Series for Purebred Arabian Horses announces agenda
ABU DHABI (WAM) The Higher Organising Committee of the UAE President's Cup Series for Purebred Arabian Horses for 2025 has announced the agenda for its 32nd edition under the support and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court.With a total prize pool exceeding Dh15 million, this edition features the largest and most valuable prizes in the history of Arabian horse racing.The 2025 series includes 17 races across 10 European venues, including Russia and Türkiye, along with five Arab venues and one each in the United States and Britain.The series kicks off in Tunisia on April 20 with prizes of 500,000 Tunisian Dinars, followed by Morocco on April 26 with prizes of 250,000 euros, and then France on May 11 with 350,000 euros, moving to the United States on May 17 with a prize of $200,000.The Italian leg on May 18 offers 300,000 euros, followed by Sweden on June 6 with 100,000 euros, Germany on July 6 with 250,000 euros, the Netherlands on August 3 with 100,000 euros, Spain on August 15 with 200,000 euros, Russia on August 30 with $100,000, Belgium on September 2 with 200,000 euros, Turkey on September 7 with $250,000, England on September 13 with 400,000 pounds, Poland on September 28 with 200,000 euros, Egypt on October 25 with Dh500,000, Libya on October 26 with Dh1 million, and Saudi Arabia on November 21 with SAR1.5 million.Matar Al Yabhouni Al Dhaheri, Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee, expressed gratitude for the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, whose support has made the UAE President's Cup the most prestigious event in Arabian horse racing.
Faisal Al Rahmani, Secretary-General of the UAE President's Cup Series, stated, "We extend our deepest gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his significant role in elevating the series to international prominence. The 32nd edition will be the grandest and most valuable in the history of global Arabian horse racing."
Al Rahmani emphasised that the UAE President's Cup has become a leading international event, offering unparalleled opportunities for breeders, trainers, and jockeys. It continues to support the development of Arabian horse racing worldwide, ensuring its growth and sustainability.
He congratulated the global Arabian horse community, associations, tracks, and stables, thanking them for their continued cooperation and wishing all participants a successful and distinguished racing season.

Dubai to lead region's first-ever government pavilion at Gamescom 2025
The 2025 edition, taking place at the Koelnmesse exhibition centre is expected to attract record attendance following the success of last year's edition, welcoming 335,000 visitors from 122 countries. The Dubai Programme for Gaming 2033 (DPG33) is set to host the Middle East's first-ever government pavilion at Gamescom 2025, the gaming event, taking place in Cologne, Germany, from August 20-24. Marking a historic milestone for the region's gaming sector, the pavilion highlights Dubai's commitment to becoming one of the world's top 10 global gaming hubs by 2033. The DPG33 pavilion will showcase the city's talent pool, as well as its facilities and infrastructure for game designers, developers, entrepreneurs and production companies. Representing the Dubai government at the pavilion are the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) and the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC). Launched in November 2023 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of DFF, DPG33 aims to boost the emirate's GDP by $1bn and create 30,000 jobs in the gaming sector.
