The former This Morning star had been lying low since being removed from ITV programming in February.
But he did not hold back during an interview on Vibe FM in Malta.
Responding when one of the presenters, named Nicole, said that she regularly dieted, he said: 'Only dogs like bones.
'A real man, he wants the meat, you know, the things to grab. Don't get too skinny, otherwise it's like, no.'
During the interview he also said: 'I'm going to tell you a secret, Italian food is like Italian men, minimum effort, maximum satisfaction.'
He added during the show last Wednesday: 'Now do you understand that Nicole, or do I need to explain that?' She replied: 'I think it was very clear.'
Later he also told her: 'You're too pretty for radio.'
Earlier, asked if he recognised a male guest in the studio, he said: 'Do I know your mum?
'Did I take your mama out for dinner or something? I meet a lot of people and usually the ones I remember are blonde, they're tall — we do an activity together.'
In February, Gino was accused of sexually inappropriate behaviour over 12 years and ITV has vowed not to use him in future. The married dad of three denies the claims.
TV chef Gino D'Acampo accused of 'sexually inappropriate' behaviour as 'dozens come forward with complaints'
Earlier this month, his restaurant chain was saved when Upmarket Leisure — the company controlling the five venues — was bought out of administration — in a £5million deal that saved 400 jobs.

Shop Olivia Attwood's £45 Topshop dress as fans rave about her ‘supermodel legs'
Olivia Attwood wowed fans at Topshop's runway show last week as she showed off her 'supermodel legs' in a pair of boots and a tailored mini dress from the brand Millennials were rejoicing last week as the number on 00s high street brand, Topshop, made its grand return. After teasing its comeback online, Topshop landed with a bang as it hosted an outdoor runway show that saw famous faces like Cara Delevingne and Olivia Attwood attend. Although Cara is the new face of the brand's revival, it was Olivia whose outfit garnered the most attention from fans, as she posed for photos in a fitted denim mini dress and a pair of snakeskin boots that prompted one Instagram follower to comment: 'How were u not a supermodel! Those legs'. Her dress is, of course, a Topshop design, with Olivia's Topshop Heavy Twill Contrast Stitch Short Sleeve Mini Dress priced at £45. The denim mini dress is the perfect pick for this transitional time of year, where we're still getting some sunshine and heat but there's a definite glimmer of autumn in the air. It's made from a heavy twill fabric which keeps you warm and gives it its structured shape, but the short sleeves and mini hemline make sure you're not too covered when the sun comes out. The Topshop Heavy Twill Mini Dress has a flattering structured silhouette with a slight A-line shape to the skirt, whilst the waist is fitted with ruching details to give it more of an hourglass shape. The wider short sleeves also help balance it out, making your waist appear smaller and your legs longer. Currently available in sizes four to 18, the dress is the perfect choice for all occasions, with Olivia proving how easy it is to dress up with a statement pair of heels or boots and a blazer. However you could just as easily keep it casual with some trainers or ballet flats and a tote bag for the day time. If you prefer a sleeveless style, H&M's Flared-Skirt Denim Dress is currently on sale for £21.25 down from £24.99, with a skater-style skirt and fitted bodice that makes it flattering and easy to wear. You could also pick up Mango's Short Denim Dress for £49.99, which has a very similar silhouette to Olivia's Topshop one, but with a sleeveless design and without the contrast stitching. However, with the Topshop revival set to be one of the high street's biggest events of the year, we can't resist shopping Olivia's Topshop Heavy Twill Mini Dress for ourselves.

ITV drama based on true story set to show 'different side' to David Tennant
Doctor Who's David Tennant is set to star as journalist Nick Davies in new ITV drama The Hack. A fresh ITV programme is set to unveil a "completely different side" to Doctor Who icon David Tennant. The Harry Potter star is teaming up with Mr Bates vs The Post Office lead Toby Jones for a drama centred on true events. The Hack delves into the story of the phone hacking scandal at the News of the World newspaper, which was exposed in 2011. It also traces the investigation into the murder of private investigator Daniel Morgan, who was killed in London in 1987. David will be stepping into the shoes of investigative journalist Nick Davies who unearthed evidence of one of the most significant and notorious invasions of privacy in the UK, reports Devon Live. Toby takes on the role of former Editor-in-Chief of The Guardian, Alan Rusbridger, while Trainspotting's Robert Carlyle embodies former Met Police Detective Chief Superintendent Dave Cook. The cast also features Rose Leslie, Dougray Scott, Eve Myles, Adrian Lester and Katherine Kelly. The synopsis teases: "Set between 2002 and 2012, the drama deftly interweaves two real-life stories, the work of investigative journalist Nick Davies, played by David Tennant, who uncovered evidence of phone hacking at the News of the World, and running parallel, the story of the investigation into the unsolved murder of private investigator Daniel Morgan, led by former Met Police detective chief superintendent Dave Cook, played by Robert Carlyle." The seven-part series is due to air this autumn, and has been executively produced by Adolescence writer Jack Thorne. In a new interview, he teased what fans can expect, revealing it was "a very, very difficult show to write". He told Deadline : "The Hack is a completely different side to David Tennant, an aspect of him that you've never seen before. It's Bobby Carlyle doing something very different, too. "It's about the phone-hacking scandal, but it's the phone-hacking scandal from the inside of it; it's two sides of the same coin that then reveal the truth of what was going on during that time. "You see them working out how to fight and it's really, really difficult. It was a very, very difficult show to write. "We were working with the Mr. Bates vs The Post Office lot, who are incredible researchers. Getting every detail right, and walking the legal minefield of the hacking scandal, was very complicated." David previously spoke about his "intense" role after The Hack was announced. Speaking on the Off Menu podcast with James Acaster and Ed Gamble, he said: "There's a lot of quite complicated information in that, you know. I'm playing a journalist who sort of broke the case open, and there's just a lot of quite technical stuff. "And obviously you have to be very specifically on that because there's a lot of lawyers watching to make sure you don't say the wrong thing." He added: "That was quite a long shoot and that was very intense. But you then do something like that and you're very proud to be part of something like that, it's one of the stories of our time that needs telling."
