The XRP price crossing the $10 mark into the double-digit territory remains a widespread school of thought, and crypto analysts have, at different points, shared analyses that seem to support this notion. Most especially, since the XRP price broke the $3 mark and is now holding support above $2, it has given fuel to these expectations. One crypto analyst takes it a step further by giving a close timeline for when XRP could break above $20.
4 Reasons Why The XRP Price Could Rally
Crypto analyst and XRP advocate, Diana on X (formerly Twitter), put forward a total of five different reasons why they believe that the XRP price is headed for double digits. These range from broader market moves to more specific developments to XRP.

The first of these reasons is the historical performance and technical analysis. The crypto analyst points to the rally in 2024 that saw the XRP price cross $3 for the first time since 2017. Currently, the altcoin is seeing a consolidation after a price crash, but continues to hold above the Ichimoku support. If the XRP price repeats the rally from 2024, then a 600% rally to $17.50 could be on the horizon.
Another reason why the XRP price could explode is the Ripple versus the Securities and Exchange Commission's battle coming to an end. Once this is resolved, the analyst believes the regulatory clarity it brings would give institutions insight to buy into the altcoin.
Next is the high number of XRP ETFs that have been filed so far. Pointing to the performance of Bitcoin and Ethereum after their respective ETFs were approved, the XRP price could see a similar rise in price.
Moving toward adoption, the ISO 20022 and the Fedwire adoption is another catalyst revealed by Diana. It is possible that the Fedwire could see XRP embedded in global banking rails, bringing newfound utility that could trigger another XRP price rally.

Timeline To Reach $20-$25
As for when the XRP price could climb above $20, the crypto analyst believes that this could happen as early as January 2026. Using the fundamentals, she points to a 600% post-ETF rally similar to that of Bitcoin, which would mean that from here, it would take it to $17.50. But a 1,000% rally could possibly take it as high as $27.50.

For the three possible scenarios, the crypto analyst predicts a 300% rally to $10 as a conservative target. Then a 500% rally to $17.50 as a base target. Finally, a 1,000% rally to $27.50 as an aggressive target. However, in all of this, the crypto analyst says the XRP price must break $3.40 for another rally to take place.

Payments entity ZBD secures EMI licence in Netherlands
ZBD, a provider of payment solutions for the interactive entertainment industry, has obtained an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) licence in the Netherlands. The licence follows its approval under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR) in December 2024. The EMI licence authorises ZBD to engage in activities such as the issuance and transfer of fiat electronic money, provision of debit cards, and the future offering of virtual IBANs for both individual and business clients. The dual licencing enables ZBD to operate a range of fiat and cryptocurrency services across the European Economic Area (EEA). ZBD COO Marca Wosoba stated: "Securing the EMI licence is a crucial step in our mission to be the next-gen PSP for interactive entertainment. 'By combining our innovative Bitcoin-based solutions with traditional fiat services, we're creating a truly comprehensive and innovative financial ecosystem for our users across the EEA." Additionally, ZBD forged a partnership with ClearBank, which will act as its banking partner within the EU and EEA. ClearBank will manage operational and safeguarding accounts, facilitating the integration of Euro and Bitcoin balances for ZBD's EU user base. ClearBank Europe COO Ezequiel Canestrari said: "This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to delivering secure, scalable, and forward-thinking solutions, and we're excited to be part of ZBD's growth journey, unlocking our clients' potential to innovate revolutionary fintech products. We look forward to supporting their continued success." 1 Magnificent Fintech Stock Down 77% to Buy and Hold Forever
Block is involved in many things, but investors will want to home in on Square and Cash App. These businesses have significant monetization potential. There are risks, but the stock is arguably a bargain at this point with ample room to reward long-term investors. 10 stocks we like better than Block › There is a list of stocks that got caught up in the stock market bubble of 2020-2021. Among them is Block (NYSE: XYZ), formerly known as Square. Today, the fintech stock is down nearly 80% from its high, reached at the peak of the aforementioned bubble. Naturally, such a miserable stretch for investors following the stock's collapse has likely given Block quite a sullied reputation, making the idea of buying and holding it tough to stomach. Yet, here I am. While Block hasn't been perfect, the sum of its parts offers investors a compelling growth engine inside of a vast addressable market that could generate lucrative investment returns for years to come. Well, what are you waiting for? You will find what you need to know about this opportunity below. As a company, Block has a lot going on. There are three primary areas of the fintech that investors want to focus on: First, there is its Square ecosystem, Block's original business. Square is a hardware and software platform that helps merchants operate their businesses. It includes payment terminals and devices, as well as a range of software for point of sale, customer management, marketing, payroll, staffing, and more. More than 4 million businesses worldwide use Square today. Next is Cash App, the company's peer-to-peer payment app that has evolved to become a digital banking platform. Today, its users have access to basic banking services, peer-to-peer payments; buy now, pay later loans; stock trades and Bitcoin, and even tax filing. The app currently has about 57 million monthly active users. Square and Cash App are Block's bread and butter. The third group comprises a mix of business projects that have potential, but don't move the needle for the company right now. That includes Tidal, a high-fidelity music streaming service; Bitkey, a digital wallet for Bitcoin; and Proto, which offers Bitcoin mining products and services. Block also holds Bitcoin as an asset on its balance sheet. With so many businesses, investors want to look at gross profit over time to see how the company as a whole has grown: Despite the stock's steep decline, the company's gross profit has gone in the opposite direction. The benefit of having such a widespread business model is that it exposes you to numerous growth opportunities. That's especially true in the financial sector, where Block deals in commerce, payments, and banking. These are competitive industries, but they also are so large that the company has a very high growth ceiling if it performs well. It isn't the largest player at anything it does, but it can grow for years just from monetizing its 4 million Square users and 57 million Cash App users. Block is increasing its gross profit by targeting larger customers in its Square business. In Cash App, growth is coming from increased user engagement. That means getting a user to go from using Cash App occasionally to send a friend money, to a financial hub used daily. Increases in users have slowed over the past couple of years, but the monetization continues to drive profit higher. Block's gross profit has increased nearly fourfold since 2020, and management anticipates 12% growth in gross profit this year. It would be all the more promising if the company can reignite user growth in the future. In all fairness, Block isn't for every investor, and the company hasn't been without its imperfections. It isn't shy about venturing into speculative areas in pursuit of growth. That includes its support of Bitcoin and its $13.9 billion all-stock acquisition of the buy now, pay later company Afterpay. It's also fair to wonder how focused the company is and whether having so much happening will ultimately weigh on financial performance. On the other hand, the stock's valuation has arguably become attractive enough that investors can afford to take on the risk. Back during the COVID market bubble, Block's gross profit was a tiny sliver of its enterprise value at the time. Today, the company is only trading at about 3.5 times its gross profit: It's worth noting that Block is also profitable; analysts on average estimate the company will earn $2.73 per share this year and $3.81 next year. Therefore, valuing it using its gross profit doesn't conceal any net losses. As long as Block can continue to increase profitably, the stock appears poised to perform well over the long term. Its performance over the past several years has been quite disappointing, but things are finally looking up. Crypto bounces on renewed optimism House could pass key stablecoin legislation this week
Cryptocurrencies and several stocks tied to the ecosystem rose Wednesday as investors dismissed a snag in what was expected to be a winning week for crypto regulation. Bitcoin was last higher by 2% at $119,114.79, according to Coin Metrics, while ether rose 3% to $3,156. Shares of stablecoin issuer Circle added more than 1% premarket and crypto services firm Coinbase gained about 0.5%, after both closed lower in the previous session. Ether treasury stocks continued their rally: BitMine surged 24%, while SharpLink jumped 14% and Bit Digital gained 5%. On Tuesday, prices dipped briefly after the House failed to advance two key pieces of legislation for the crypto industry: the stablecoin bill known as the GENUIS Act, which has already passed the Senate, and the broader and far more complex market structure known as the CLARITY Act. Industry players including Coinbase hoped to see these bills move forward together, despite the latter one still awaiting a vote in the House. Oppenheimer analyst Owen Lau told CNBC the stock reaction was overblown and framed the passage of the bills as a matter of "when" rather than an "if." "It's not such bad news which is why the stocks [Coinbase and Circle] recovered in late trading," he said. "Both stocks may be under pressure until we get the vote but these bills will eventually get passed after these negotiations." It doesn't ultimately matter how they get passed – separately or bundled – "in terms of the terminal value … but the stock could react more positively if all three bills get combined," and the market "would lose three or four months of uncertainty," Lau added. President Donald Trump said in a social media post Tuesday night that several of the House Republicans who kept the bills from advancing had changed their minds following a White House meeting and will now vote to move the legislation forward. In its current form, the GENIUS Act would restrict stablecoin issuers from paying users interest, which would reinforcing the importance of Ethereum – a network favored by institutions that supports a significant amount of activity and applications, including stablecoins – in the ecosystem. However, ether's recent rally, driven by momentum and speculative positioning among the boom in stablecoin interest and ether treasuries, has not been supported by fundamentals. "Active addresses remain flat, network revenue is unchanged, and gas [transaction] fees have only ticked up slightly," according to 10x Research's Markus Thielen. Ether has doubled in price in the last three months. Bitcoin, whose price slipped this week due to more than $360 million in long liquidations Monday, also dropped after the crypto bills were halted, but recovered soon after. On Monday, the flagship cryptocurrency reached an all-time high above $120,000. Bitcoin ETFs saw $402.99 million in inflows from institutions on Tuesday, while ether funds raked in $192.3 million, according to SoSoValue.
